The staff are friendly and the store is organized. The lines here tend to be shorter than Iwilei. The hard part about Costco is the inventory varies by warehouse. I've seen some things at Iwilei that are sold out at Hawaii Kai (and vice versa). It feels like you have to go every month to scope out the new merch. I've found luggage and a 2-pack of Kohler trash cans before. The quality of the merch is excellent and if you need to go back, the warehouse can do a price match if the item goes on sale within 30 days of purchase.

While they had your standard costco stuff, the one thing we always come for are the shrimp chips and the Cookies in Paradise Furikake mix. No shrimp chips unfortunately, but they had hella bags of the furikake mix, which we bought multiple of for the trip and take home to family. It's easily one of my favorite snacks of all-time and we've struck out the past couple trips to Hawaii so it was nice to see it's fully stocked here. Bummer that they don't have anything special at the food court, but other than that the Costco was neatly organized and had exactly what we needed when it came to buying waters and alcohol.

Hot and cold food available here, along with poke bar and food items of regional fairs regularly held here. Getting here may pose a challenge with lane closures due to rail construction. Once you get here, finding parking is usually not an issue (save special holidays). This is an interesting store that has takeout containers, disposable utensils, dressings, jams, canned corned beef, salsa, cleaning products, etc. I paid attention to the "Hot Sale" signs for the best prices and great deals. I found sleeves of cups that my mom likes to use to serve certain desserts. It's challenging to find these disposable cups! I had looked everywhere for them! Now, I find them for $3 ... wow! I think I need to return! I saw packs of plastic spoons for $2. Maybe I should get them for the next family party... Tip: use cash to avoid the 2.5% credit card fee. The need to support local for various packing items KYD, Inc is an awesome place that does provide materials not just to the retail industry but for the general public as well. Nadine C suggested to check this place out which I'm so happy I did though the location is in the Lagoon Drive area which we all know the parking situation is tough though they do have a few stalls right in front of the biz many do drive by and double park behind you so if you find a street parking it's totally suggested the best way to avoid getting blocked. The door is to the left of the building and is actually the Will Call area though they do have a lot of shelves to display their inventory which does include cleaning chemicals, food containers, gloves and many items that you just don't see like foam trays. Their clearance section items starts from $0.50 with sale items from $1 finding items for your event doesn't have to be pricey. Thank you!
