a display of products in a store

I needed several things but they were out of some of the shampoo's I needed and I also needed Band-aids and they didn't have the bandaids that I needed which are the silicone type. It's very quiet in here but yet the people here are very nice and it does have potential. Also the store is tidy and clean which I really like they have very "nice fragrances if you need some, they have some here but they are locked up so there's reasons for security reasons, that is. They always approach you and ask you if you need help finding your items which is a plus. Store is orderly, but some items are hard to find since they move products. One is when I needed to check out, the prices are not in the register even though they have the sale items with a sale price tagged. So they do not check regularly. You have to let them know and a screen shot of sale items on the floor to prove it on sale. Pharmacist very helpful and knowledgable on medications. Good deals throughout store!! Checkout the dairy including Blue Bell ice cream!! Plenty of parking and drive through window at the Pharmacy. Treats for dogs and even when your checking out they even give a treats to your dog companion.!!

I am now ready to take our business elsewhere. We have been using the Walgreens close to Randalls by Lohmans Crossing for 2 years now and the wait times to get meds, the wait time on the phone and especially the fact that they never have things in stock when needed have finally just put us over the edge! I was diagnosed with a blood disorder and have a pretty specific medication routine. I am on auto refill but I always call about 3-4 days ahead of time just to make sure they have everything in stock. well, I have been waiting since January 1st for 3 of the meds as they are 'out of stock' and 2 of them were cancelled by the pharmacy. I have left a message for my doctors so I can get a back up written prescription as a just in case I need to go to a different pharmacy but the holidays have made that difficult. I also have screen shots from today's multiple attempts to talk to someone about all of this...2 calls being on hold for almost 30 minutes a piece just waiting and then one that lasted 12 minutes that started at 1:20.....it wasn't until the on hold music stopped that I was advised at 1:43 that the announcement changed and that they were at lunch and would be returning at 2;00. The staff actually left for lunch with people still on hold.

Always short handed and not helpful at all. Was a long time Walgreens customer--CVS has a new customer- I give up!

    Review Highlights - Walgreens

After having numerous horrendously bad experiences with CVS in the Target in Bee Cave, I decided to go back to my "home towns" drug store, Walgreens.

They have the smallest section of sunblock, and it's all the chemical kind. A little disappointing for CVS. Self check out because no one is a cashier any more.

I had to look up if CVS worked with them and they did so I stoped in. I asked if they load chime cards. The cashier said yes. So I put $360 on the card. He asked for another $4.95. I asked, what is that for... he replied he doesn't know it must be coming from chime. He said It's an activation fee. I said that's odd. I've never got that before whatever... he then said he would need another $4.95. I said I just handed you $360 just take it out of that. He said no additionally. I gave him another $5. I thought it was strange. So I got on my app and asked chime. Why did you charge me $4.95? They said we don't charge a fee. It must be a third-party. I'm familiar with POS systems and the cash discount. But in Texas, you need to tell the consumer that there is a charge before the purchase... Don't blame the other company! I wasn't making a purchase, but that's not the point ... the cashier wasn't properly trained and didn't tell me that there would be a third-party fee which Walgreens does not have. Or any other that I know of. I went back in to inform them that what they're doing is illegal. They need to have a sign posted for the consumer to make that decision before being charged the processing fee. Don't lie when confronted! The manager was just as oblivious and said he would pass it on to his director. Instead of I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I was not aware of this. I will make this right in the future so no one else needs to go through this. And most of all that we are not breaking the law. Texas Law: As you could see here. In Texas, charging a consumer a "processing fee" (often called a credit card surcharge or convenience fee) without prior disclosure is problematic and can be illegal under certain circumstances. Texas law has a complex history on this topic. Under Texas Business and Commerce Code § 604A.0021, it is technically prohibited for a seller to impose a surcharge on a buyer who uses a credit card instead of cash, check, or similar payment methods. A similar prohibition applies to debit cards under § 604A.002. Violations can lead to civil penalties up to $500 per violation. My note from chime: Support I'm sorry to hear about the unexpected $4.95 activation fee. Chime does not charge any activation fees for opening an account or activating your card. If you see a charge like this, it may be related to a third-party service or a merchant, not Chime itself. Had to vent.... Enjoy my $4.95 POS company. Dumb CVS.

I had always wondered what the TXB stores were all about. Earlier this week nature made a 911 call…read morethat needed immediate response so I got to find out on an unplanned basis. Like most new mega C-stores, they are shiny modern facilities with more than just gas, chips, and beer. They're actually little food courts and restaurant oases that can make you a decent meal if you want it. Gone are the days when you're only option were hot dogs off of the steel rollers - - although plenty of those places still exist. For the necessary, I found their restrooms to be spotlessly clean and will maintained in terms of supplies. Nothing like a surprise when you're dealing with a surprise and in that regard TXB delivered. As an unexpected bonus there are self-check registers. I found that to be quite cool and bit of a time saver. I'm from that generation that was taught if you use the store's restroom, you should buy something--no matter how small--to thank them for being there for your biological needs. But, far too many times, in the quest for doing the right thing I found myself further delayed or inconvenienced. In addition to being in a hurry to get here, I was also in a hurry to get back home so time saving was very much appreciated. I think their prices on snacks were a little high and that was the only downer of the experience. Maybe I'm just not familiar with buying nuts at convenience store prices these days but $6.95 for a smallish bag of David's sunflower seeds seemed bit off the charts. I'm sure I'll be back for more or less than I came for this time and now it's not such a mystery to me. Recommended. P.S. In case you don't know what the TXB is all about it just stands for "Texas Born" which is both the store credo and mantra.
