Dr Pepper zero is on tap! Everyone here is nice, I have seen the manager a couple of times now. He seems to be a jolly chap. This is a nice store when you are in the area.

I had always wondered what the TXB stores were all about. Earlier this week nature made a 911 call…read morethat needed immediate response so I got to find out on an unplanned basis. Like most new mega C-stores, they are shiny modern facilities with more than just gas, chips, and beer. They're actually little food courts and restaurant oases that can make you a decent meal if you want it. Gone are the days when you're only option were hot dogs off of the steel rollers - - although plenty of those places still exist. For the necessary, I found their restrooms to be spotlessly clean and will maintained in terms of supplies. Nothing like a surprise when you're dealing with a surprise and in that regard TXB delivered. As an unexpected bonus there are self-check registers. I found that to be quite cool and bit of a time saver. I'm from that generation that was taught if you use the store's restroom, you should buy something--no matter how small--to thank them for being there for your biological needs. But, far too many times, in the quest for doing the right thing I found myself further delayed or inconvenienced. In addition to being in a hurry to get here, I was also in a hurry to get back home so time saving was very much appreciated. I think their prices on snacks were a little high and that was the only downer of the experience. Maybe I'm just not familiar with buying nuts at convenience store prices these days but $6.95 for a smallish bag of David's sunflower seeds seemed bit off the charts. I'm sure I'll be back for more or less than I came for this time and now it's not such a mystery to me. Recommended. P.S. In case you don't know what the TXB is all about it just stands for "Texas Born" which is both the store credo and mantra.

Love, love PT Terrys burgers. Burgers are always cooked like a burger should. The vanilla shakes…read moreare even better, smooth creamy and on a hot day, it's what I needed. I actually walked in and dined in a cool nicely decorated dining room. No waiting this time, I got my receipt with a number that they call, when order is ready for pick up. Friendly staff and eager to help you with your order. Location you usually have to wait a long wait especially when the school is out in the area which is Lake Travis High school. No trouble parking in this area especially because it has a very large parking lot. So you either can go to the window or you can dine in. You'll love it! The prices here are so low I love it that's how you save money and the burgers are phenomenally good.

Pro tip: P Terry's over Whataburger, for the win, all day any day. Local to Texas and Austin…read more Always, always, get the full meal. If you've never gone before, start with the classic burger (or cheeseburger) paired with fries and a sweetened/unsweetened tea. You can't go wrong. Future iterations can include modifications, like adding grilled onions, or going lighter with a lettuce burger (they actually do a solid job at wrapping the lettuce burger). I was pleasantly surprised by a P Terry's in Lakeway and, while I wasn't planning on P Terry's, I turned in to the location upon seeing the sign. A beautiful backdrop, and great timing as it was their 21st anniversary and a special meal was being promoted. Music added to the ambiance, giving 1950s diner vibes, and the staff were all so friendly! Full of smiles and great energy. Bonus? P Terry's is pretty dang affordable. Typical meals coming costing around $10.
