I was in need of a medicine my normal place was out and so this location had it in stock and was super accommodating to transfer my rx. Month after month I get numerous amounts of perceptions and other store things needed for my home & for my family from the pharmacy employees and their nasty attitudes towards myself and I have seen it first hand with another customer and another time with my spouse, absolutely disgraceful and they should maybe work at another location or something because your supposed to be professionals, Right??? Worst pharmacy ever. I came in three times to pick up medication, they said they are running behind and told me to wait 30 minutes. Come to find out they don't even have the medication and said they will order it for pick up the next day after 2. The next day comes and they said it's coming the day after instead. This review is for the lake mead and Buffalo Walgreens. Yesterday I needed to get a new prescription for my wife. The doctor sent the request at 8:30, I received a text with a question at 9:30, which I immediately responded to. At 2pm I called and was told it was still be worked on. At 7 I called to find out what's going on. Initially I was told it wasn't ready, I asked to talk to a pharmacist and was told it was ready and a cost $45 cost. Never got a message from them until after my call. Today I got a message that it was too soon to fill the same prescription for 90 days with a cost of almost $500 (correct amount). How is that possible, Walgreens couldn't answer when I called!!! read more

Where are the staff? I went in for one item: nail glue. It was locked up. So I push the button for assistance nearby in cosmetics. The robot lady voice must've asked for assistance in the cosmetics department on the overhead speaker half a dozen times. Never saw a soul. So I walked out without getting what I needed. Decent Walgreen's on the corner of Durango and Charleston going towards Summerlin (and Boca Park). It is a little chaotic in terms of organization but has good stuff. All the usuals, but some a little better than average, especially in haircare, cosmetics, and makeup. There is a decent pharmacy wayyy in the back of the store. (It is darker there for some reason, and feels dungeony. But they are competent). The boon here is that they have a decent wine selection if you need to pick up something quick. And they often have discounts. There are also those small bottles of wine, single servings, on sale here. When you just want a "glass" with dinner. There is also a photo center, but doesn't look too swift. read more

Doctor sent this Walgreens my prescription. I was notified that it was delayed. Went to the store to pick up another prescription and asked about the delay. Girl at counter tells me if it was ordered it should be in 24 to 48 hours later. She seemed very unsure about what she was telling me so I went back the next day. Another girl tells me it will be 5 days before it will get there (with a shitty attitude) No big deal, I've got Laryngeal cancer and this is for the pain of radiation. I needed this medication right away. Not 24-48 hours latter and certainly not 6 days after they got the prescription. read more

I couldn't find anyone to help me, so I waited in a line of 5 people just to ask the woman at the front if she could unlock the case with benadryl. Once she paged someone to go back and help me, I ran over to get my benadryl again and stood in another line. They seemed very understaffed and some people were getting very annoyed. I'm not sure if I would say that I was annoyed but I will say that I will probably go to a different drug store from here on out. This location is pretty convenient but with the waiting time and trying to find someone to help, there are better places to go to. read more

I use this Walgreens almost exclusively for the drive-thru pharmacy so I really had no idea until I went into the store today how bad the customer service is. Both the front of the store cashier and the woman "working" the photo center (you have to practically be a CIA operative to track her down) acted like they were doing us a favor by being there. The pharmacy was more efficient than the front desk. The front checkout area with the elderly white women is really aggressive. In addition to aggressively pushing what the pad was asking me. She ignored my wait in line, I was the customer after her current one. Right after she finished with her current customer. She just left cash register even though I was clearly in line and made eye contact at the payment line. Therefore I do not understand why you must attend to the other employees who didn't need help checking out another customer. read more

I ran into Joe F the store manager and he actually stopped what he was doing to help me get it. Not only did it make my experience stress free but it helped cut my time spent frantically looking in half. Last night, they locked me in the store after closing. I found out when I went to the counter to pay for my stuff and the alarm started blaring. Holy sh@t! I started going from door to door pounding on them. I was trying to find an employee. The alarm was so loud. I didn't know if they were injured or being robbed... Yeah I'm a mom! I worry! I started to have a panic attack! My sister told me to call 911... That's when I saw the emergency exit and I left. I drove home instinctively. I told my kids what happened. I immediately went back because I could think again since the alarm wasn't blaring ( torture) in my ears!!! I was worried that maybe the employee was injured or something and I knew the door was open. I called 311. Shortly after the manager and her husband show up. Apparently, she left at 12:30. I left at 12:47. She asked me how did I turn off the alarm. How the hell would I know how to turn off the alarm? She didn't even say "sorry" or " thanks for coming back and making sure we were ok" or anything. Have you ever been in a store at closing time? They make an announcement every 5 seconds that they are closing. How the hell am I supposed to know that it's not a 24 hour store? All the lights were on... Police showed up a few minutes after them. My heart was still beating a mile a minute. I am currently under a doctors care for anxiety and high blood pressure . Unbelievable... I missed work to go back and make sure that they were ok. I can't believe she tried to blame me first and when I pointed out that they never announced the store was closing, then she claimed that the other cashier that was supposed to make the announcement. R u kidding me? Just so you know it closes at 12 and the A/C shuts off when they close. read more

I don't go to the pharmacy much, but when I have been to couple of them it's always just pick up pay and go. Not this time, the girl at the counter was so helpful in trying to save me money. Yelp 100 Challenge 14' * 9/100 My bestie and I have used this as our final stop for a couple of our hangouts simply because it always seems to have what we need. Early last month, we got ourselves these microbead headrests for our winter break trips and on valentines day, after searching through Vons, Ross and target for teddy bears, we found ourselves shuffling in here once again! I honestly wonder why people get bitter on Feb 14 when good quality chocolates are half priced! Sara and I got each other these cute teddy bears and she named mine while I named hers. Was a fun night alright! In contrast to the walmart bears, despite small imperfections, the options here looked sunnier and brighter.And the best thing is, we had choices! On our way out, we delighted ourselves in the jokester of a cashier. She was making customers roar with laughter as we waited in line when she began picking on a cop who was buying chocolates! I've been to this location before on a weeknight and they guard the door and give you dirty looks if you come in at the last minute. That's not customers not service. This store rocks! Richard is always there during the day and he greets everyone with a very friendly "hello". He has a great wit and the fact that he loves what he does shows! I've never been in there that he wasn't extremely bright and friendly. I haven't used the pharmacy, but I have stopped in many times for various items when I'm in a hurry. They always seem to have what I need - unlike the CVS across the street. I appreciate that they are open early so I can swing in on my way to work when I need something fast. And like I said - whether it's cat food, baby aspirin or a Birthday card - they always have what I need. Convenient and friendly! read more

I looked and looked for what I went in to purchase and after walking right by it several times someone actually came up and asked what I was looking for. She didn't think they had it but looked for me and sure enough... the second pair of eyes worked! Went in looking for Pokémon cards for my kids. Found some in a locked case and went to ask someone for help. Stood in line at check out, after searching the store for someone without luck. After waiting for the customers in front of me to pay, I asked the lady checking out if someone could help me- she tells me to find a button to call an associate.. I told her I had looked all over the aisle and didn't see a button, so could she please call, which she scoffed and did so. After waiting at the case for another 5-7 minutes, we searched the next two aisles down and found the "call" button. We pushed the button and waited and waited and waited while the intercom sounded "help in vitamins" for the 30th time. While we are standing there waiting I'm hearing an employee on the next aisle mocking us and saying "oh vitamins you're going to wait hahaha". What kind of service is that? If you hate your job then quit- and Walgreens why are you paying people who send your customers away. We left without purchasing the 50$ worth of stuff we had planned on. read more
