What can I say it is Walgreens your friendly neighborhood drug store. This store is just like the ones in the bay area. The staff is really friendly and they are well stocked except for my SKOR :{ I was like so bummed lol. Anyway, the aisles are clean and the store is pretty well stocked. This is located not far from UNLV actually next to Raising Cane's and there is also a Target and Dollar store with other smaller stores in this outside strip mall. I would say the prices are pretty much like the Bay Area for the taxes in the Nevada is actually higher than the Bay. So if you are looking for medicine, toys, food, makeup and the list goes on this is the store for you because it is the same as home it is nice to know where to go to get the things you need without having to learn a whole new layout and take a long time in the store. ;} read more

This Walgreens pharmacy is so terribly slow. There never is enough staff and always a huge line. The best advice is to transfer your prescriptions to another Walgreens (Las Vegas Blvd/Convention Center is the best, but they unfortunately have short hours). Also, if they had more Spanish speaking staff here, the transactions would be faster since the bulk of the customers just speak Spanish. read more

Pharmacy is always understaffed! If you need medication I suggest somewhere else. I always have problems with my prescriptions! Trying to call does not help because you will be on hold for 20 minutes then hear them pick up the phone and hang up on you. This store is GARBAGE. I made an appointment for a covid test at 4pm. Got there early because there's always a bit of a line. I just spent TWO HOURS in the drive thru line, to have to leave because I had to pick up my daughter. This is ridiculous. Why even make appointments? Sigh, the pharmacy has messed up my order twice. Once I was told to come back in 30 minutes when I went to pick up the prescription I dropped off because it was wrong. I had errands to run so I ended up coming back hours later, and my prescription wasn't ready. The second time it was read wrong and she didnt give me the correct amount of pills. The manager didnt apologize but instead made excuses for the woman who messed up. There homeless people outside hanging around all of the time. I went once and a pregnant woman stuck a container of laundry detergent in her jacket, I felt bad for her but security should have caught her. read more

Waited and hour for the pharmacy to open and when someone online asked a manager all they had to say was "we don't know when the pharmacist is showing up". Had to pick up medication for my asthma at this location. Called the pharmacy at about 5pm and the recording told me my medication would be ready after 6:15pm. Called again at 8pm and was told by the recording my medication was delayed. So I decided to talk to a person. Got Melody on the line and gave her my name and birthdate.. with attitude she cut me off and asked if I had insurance. When I gave her that information she told me she would have it in 45 minutes for me. Drove there at 9:20pm, when I drove up she looked at me then lifted the blinds to see the cars behind me then turned her back and stood by the register with her arms crossed for a good 10minutes then walked away. About 9:45pm she finally came to the window and still didn't acknowledge and pressed her finger on the glass indicating she needed something. I then asked her what she needed and she pressed her fingers more aggressively against the window that's when I realized she needed my ID. Gave her my ID, she didn't even look up my information and tossed my ID back in the tray and said with attitude, "it's not ready, come back tomorrow!" While she rolled her eyes I asked her for her name which she hesitated, she said, "why?" And I replied that I wanted her name. She hesitated again and told me her name was Melody. She was wearing a black hoodie with a black beanie and had black and red braids. I told her she was very rude and didn't acknowledge me once and she raised her voice and said "Have a good night" which was very rude. When I called to speak with a manager I got ahold of the shift lead which he told me he knew exactly who I was talking about which tells me she does this a lot. I was given the name of a manager by the name of Robert to speak to in the morning. I will also be reaching out to the medical board of pharmacy technicians to report how rude she was. This is peoples medications you're messing with, I needed my inhaler for obvious reasons. She is the rudest person I have encountered at a pharmacy.. if you don't like your job then find something else to do! read more

Why do I hate traveling you ask? Well, it's because you forget things that you use on a daily basis upsetting your daily routine. While some people will just make do without needed items, I must go out and replace item with equal or just lesser quality. Enter Walgreens. Luckily, this Walgreens was just down the street from our hotel and I was able to get my toiletries and get back to my room without too much of a disruption. The cashier was really nice telling us about their upcoming store promotions. When we told her we were from out of town she asked us to let others who might be interested know about them. And the way she did it was not pushy or overbearing, but more of a community service which was cool. read more

Took a prescription in on Thursday at around 11:00. After waiting in line for over 30 minutes they finally told us 12:50. We went home and I returned at about 12:40, waited over an hour this time and when I got up there at around 1:45 the told me 10 more minutes. I finally got my prescription at 2:42. You know I Walgreen's I do like you, but there are a few kink's that need to be worked out. For instance with the points program that says "spend 25 dollars on this product and receive 5,000 points". Ok, great, but the issue is that on several occasions the label is vague, i.e. it doesn't say what particular participating products which can be confusing and annoying. How hard is it to say you must purchase face wash, lipstick, or whatever the case may be? It's annoying and could be easily remedied but the likelihood seems rather slim? Second, this location is often littered with questionable character's soliciting money or whatever they think they can get away with. And if you are filling prescriptions here don't bother because the pharmacy is often filled to the gills with ornery customers. The employee's typically have an "I'm over this circus" attitude because chances are they're expected to do the work of 50 people and the numerous challenges at this location. However, this is retail and when you are this close to the strip you should know what to expect -unless you are a country bumpkin fresh off the Greyhound bus and have only lived here a few weeks. read more

You landed at McCarran and due to the TSA restrictions you realize dang, I forgot my eye drops and since it's a desert out here your eyes dry out fast. Or you might want to pick up some stuff for the mother of all hangovers you're going to have from exploring the Strip all night. If your cab driver doesn't long haul you through the airport tunnel and goes North instead this Walgreens location might be worth stopping at. It's not on the Strip so you don't pay Strip prices, but it's also a straight drive down Flamingo to the middle of the Strip for easy access to the Flamingo, the Quad, and the Cromwell when your done. And this Walgreens is a 24 hour location so if you had to you can do a one time scrript transfer if you really forgot something you can't be without (but be prepared to wait and wait, and wait some more for the pharamcists to make that happen). 3 Stars. Some people consider any area outside of Summerlin to be sketchy...and yes there are homeless people around. Get in, get out, mind your business and you won't have any issues shopping here. read more

This one hardly ever has more than a handful of people here, which is great when you just want to get in and out of there. The customers don't seem to be of the criminal type, which is another plus. Good selection of gift cards. Convenient for groceries, candy, cards, photos, cough drops, and drinks. read more

I have been here lots of times in the last few years that I have lived in Vegas and I have never had an issue. The staff is very friendly, even the security guards they have there because the surroundings of this location attracts a lot of homeless folk. I think every time I have gone I have encountered at least one. The pharmacy staff is even nicer. They are quick and if anything is wrong they call you immediately. I really like their new text system where they text you if your prescriptions are ready. Their prices are always pretty good and their selection decent. I like this one because I can get in and out in no time. There is never anyone there when I go, sooo nice. I would not really get any grocery items at a Walgreens only because I prefer Target which is in the same shopping center. I usually go for the pharmacy, photo center, and to pick up quick items if needed, nothing special. I like the photo center because I can use the machine to order pictures I want from a cd, flash drive, etc., and they are out by the time I get done getting my meds or whatever I am there for. It is nice when I can get in and out without issues. read more

I love Walgreens overall as my go to drug store but the pharmacy is the absolute worst and I HATE coming here. They're always understaffed and I always have to wait in a long line in person or at least 30 minutes which is absurd! When you go to the drive thru you literally sit there for 20 minutes before being helped. All prescriptions take like 2-4 hours to be filled but at like CVS if you wait for it it takes 15-20 minutes.... The pharmacy here also NEVER answers their phone!!!! One time I was on hold for 45 minutes and gave up and drove over, the staff were just screwing around and being lame. This location needs to step up their game read more

This place double charges you for items and then gives out the "not my problem" attitude. This type of mentality is the reason won't return. I made it all the way home @11:00 PM and now have to return to the store tonight because the employees messed up? Seems like a scam rather than an accident. The Walgreens Staffs with few managers there are not happy to talk with at all! And sometimes can be very disrespectful and rude and attacking customers with attitudes, a time you ask for help. Then the second rep transfer me to a number that have been disconnected. I'm very disappointed angry with their customer service Reps department. I bought a green dot prepaid debit card. After I bought it took me days to try to activate to get my money off it. And right at this moment the card is still unactivated. All because I can't get a live operator to activate it to get my money drawn from it. I am constantly getting the Automotive system voice telling me my information is incorrect!. I called Walgreen report the problems I'm facing two times. They gave me an email address to send them pics of my card number and receipts. So I sent the card receipts information to them. The message I got back showing an error message. Said "Walgreen message box is full. And cannot receive anymore emails". I call back the lady rep who gave me the email address told her the mail box is full, so it didn't go through. I was very piss off because until now I haven't received my cash refund. How can Walgreens store selling bad products when many customers calling about the same issues everyday. And I'm sure you are aware of it and you still have the cards on the counter selling to your customers, where's the conscience? No wonder why their mail box is jammed up with messages and calls from customers. Great place to go if you want to be treated like a criminal after having your shoulder replaced and you need pain medication. My wife had a prescription for 10 to 14 days that they entered as 14 days and wouldn't fill the next one until then. When I arrived on the day it was supposed to be ready, it wasn't. If I could give them minus a star I would. This Walgreens Pharmacy is so bad my Doctor has even complained. Just last night I can from my Doctor with MRI results stating I had fractured my knee and torn my miniscus. The doctor ordered me pain medication and I walked the hard copy of my script into the store and I was told it could not be filled until the 1st. This Walgreens have split my scripts in half, giving me only half of what was prescribed by my doctor, refused to refill scripts and lost my scripts. I asked my Doctor if they can do this and she said absolutely not. I spoke to Natasha on 12/28/2017 regarding my script she transfered me to Kewanee who wasn't even in the pharmacy he transfered me to Gee the lead pharmacist who was extremely rude and kept cutting me off...I asked for the corporate number he transferred me to Angel and she asked what do I want. ..them gave me the number to customer service not corporate and said that's the only number she had. STAY FAR AWAY from this Walgreens to save yourself the stress and frustration they dish out. No pharmacist has the right to overide or challenge your Doctor's instructions. Absolutely awful pharmacy, very rude pharmacist, slow service. Everything was disorganized, I would never trust a prescription from them again. I called the ER to get a prescription, the nurse said she would call Walgreens for me. I went to Walgreens to pick it up, where I waited for a long time to be helped, when someone finally helped me, I was told they didnt have my prescription. Upon calling the ER nurse, I was told that when she called Walgreens, she was told that they were "too busy right now" and so she wasn't able to put it in. At this point, I went back to the counter to get an emergency dose because I need to take this medication ASAP, but the pharmacist decided to talk to me like 12 year old and informed they don't do phone prescriptions and that I would need to drive to the ER to get a paper copy. As it is 11 pm, this is not an option for me so I called the ER nurse back, who said that every time she calls the pharmacy, they put her on hold. I am in excruciating pain and have an infection that needs to be treated with antibiotics as soon as possible, but thanks to Walgreens, I have TO WAIT 24 MORE HOURS FOR MY IMPORTANT PRESCRIPTION. I will never be going again. If you need anything to be done correctly, I recommend CVS. Update: I called the manager and explained the problem, she called me back to tell me the prescription would be filled within the hour. It has now been an hour and a half and I am still sitting waiting. If I wasn't in so much pain, I'd just wait until the morning when another pharmacy would be open. read more

Love the convenience of it being so close to campus and they have early hours of operation. The downside is that there's usually a homeless person outside in the parking lot asking for food or money. Horrible experience. When I first got there to have my script filled there was a big line. The team there seemed under staffed and overwhelmed. I waited about 10-15 minutes on line. The girl at the counter was entering in my information in the computer. Was then told the wait would be 30 minutes. 30 minutes passed so I inquired about my script. I was then told I would need to go back to the doctor to get a code for my script. I was upset because I waited 30 minutes and wasn't told anything about the issue. At this point I was upset because I was in pain and needed my medication. I called the doctor and then got the code and gave it to them. Then I was told I needed to wait 1 hour because they were backed up and busy. Once I told them that I was a store manager at a pharmacy they quickly got my script ready and apologized. I should've never waited that long, its unacceptable. read more

The store itself is a reasonable place and convenient, fair enough. The issue I have with this place is associates, employees, to be honest I don't think they are happy with their job, especially photo department and pharmacy, they always seems depressed, stressed and they don't treat their customer well and equal. I see I am going against general consensus with my star rating, so let me tell you why. I got married the weekend before here in Vegas. Our little flower girl was flying to her grandmother's and I wanted to send her back with a photo album to share. So, I went online and made one on the Walgreen's photo app. Super easy!! It took a while, but it was a 30 page album. This store has SAME DAY turn around on a photo book - I didn't need it until the next day, so it worked out great. This place is the worst. Pharmacy is incompetent, slow and rude. Lost one of my prescriptions. Minimum wait at drive thru is 25 min on a good day.
