A couple hours later they said they 'filled it' and we'll let you know when it's ready. Was if filled or not? Apparently filled doesn't mean filled. Over 4 hours later and it's still not ready. I need to find a real pharmacy.

I was prescribed a cream for the dark spots on my face and that would not generally be covered by…read moreinsurance. The dermatologist's office suggested this pharmacy because the cream would be a bit more affordable. The pharmacy called as soon as they received the prescription and even though insurance would cover the prescription at a much higher cost, they still checked. The cost would have been close to $300 if I went through insurance but if filled directly with Wellness, it was $90. Communication was smooth, I got regular updates via text, even an option to prepay before gong to pick up the prescription. I went by to pick up my prescription around 3pm on a weekday and there was no line and I was in and out with my cream. I removed one star because of the parking situation - I can never get parking here, I used to go to a RN in the same building and it was always bad. For the number of businesses in the building, there is very limited parking in front. You can go around the back and park in the dirt and walk up or park in the underground parking. Basically, it's a bother. Great service and people!

The only big issue here is the line that develops. I will say that the store is a bit cleaner, better stocked, and more organized than it has been in the recent past. There's quite a bit more locked up (mostly the more female products: make-up, mani-pedi stuff, etc.) than I think needs to be but I understand why they have to. That said, the usual crowd in here is non-threatening and the store is definitely safe and in an excellent location. There are far worse locations to visit with a lot rougher looking patrons than this one. Overall I'm grateful it's right across the street from my apartment. There's also a lottery ticket machine in here if that's your thing and you don't want to make a second stop somewhere else.

However I was also looking for cotton balls and they were completely out of them. I asked a sales clerk, Leila, where they were and she confirmed that they were completely out. Later I asked her if they would order more and she said yes but didn't really give me much info about it. Seems like a pretty necessary item to have in stock but who knows these days with covid what can be available because I thought for sure Safeway next door would have them but they didn't either. It was easy to find cotton balls a few days ago in Hawaii though. I should have brought them with me back home! I gave them to my friend instead. I'll try ordering from Amazon. Other than that, my mom wanted Sudafed and Leila showed me where it was, so that was great, and I found bobby pins easily which I needed. Overall it was a good experience. The store was pretty nicely organized and had lots of fun stuff, I'm pretty sure I could spend a long time browsing in there and buy a lot of bonus stuff but I didn't do that.

And it seems like their computers/online system is really garbage because it always seems to be taking forever to start or frozen or not working somehow--CVS Pharmacy, invest in better infrastructure, for god sakes! After having had my prescription refill request for hours, I showed up on my way home to get it. The assistants were very nice, but basically told me it wasn't finished and they weren't allowed to give me an estimated time. When the pharmacist herself came over to speak to me, she was downright hostile and completely unprofessional. She told me I should have my doctor's office just use a different pharmacy, even though they've had my prescription order for most of the day. I would avoid this pharmacy like the plague.
