The pharmacist told me it wasn't ready, but to come back tomorrow. I just left the Walgreens without my medication again because they told me it is out of stock and they won't have it until sometime next week. I don't really like giving negative reviews, But this needs calling out. A guy walks into a pharmacy... Right after surgery, into mega levels of pain from a rotator cuff.... He had to take off work from his hourly job to get to the pharmacy during normal hours. He slides the prescription carefully across the counter and watches "Yohama" peck at the computer keyboard for about three minutes like a hungry pigeon. He's waiting patiently. Yohama tells him/me I have to wait an hour because everyone is on break. Wait, what? Break? Are you serious???????? In 2024 we assign breaks at the pharmacy without covering the counter??? Make customers wait for pain medicine, or worse yet heart medicine that really might be important. What is even more incredulous is they have assigned breaks. I never, ever get a break at my hourly deadend job. Lunch that's it. Ever. I'm NOT getting paid to come get this prescription filled in the first place. But you are going to make me wait because everyone is on break ?? Very evident that taking care of patients needs are not your priority. Shameful at best. That's not a real heathcare provider. This place is a JOKE! Go somewhere else if you have a choice. My doctors office was on hold for 40 min. They pick up the call without saying hello and put you right back on hold and eventually they hang up. I apologized and told her I would drive over there. I also called and they did the same thing to me. I was stuck in 30 min of traffic and I was on hold for those 28 minutes until they hung up on me. I get to the ddrive thru window expecting a long line of people. There's no one there. No one in line, no one helping the drive through customers and no one answering the phones. I have filed a formal complaint with this walgreens- the manager needs to be fired, extremely rude and condescending to customers. When things seem to go wrong she takes out her frustration on customers and doesn't let them know properly for example when a register isn't working. I swiped my card three times before being told it was cash only. The entire line including myself wasn't informed so we left the store- had she not been so extremely rude about the situation i would've not filed the complaint- however after seeing these reviews and her refusing to give her name which is Ionisys or something like that i've decided this is not fair to walgreens loyal customers. we even went as far as to tell other people not to enter the store because of her and all the problems being handled inappropriately read more

This has been by far the worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with. Most of the pharmacy technicians do not care and it almost feels like you are an inconvenience shipping there. They do not like to speak English and they lie to your face. My meds needs to get renewed and they always tell me they sent a fax to my doctor's office. After a few days of confusion, I always have to call my doctor to send in the renewal since they never received a "fax". Last week was the last of my patience where I had my doctor call in the prescription and they still got it wrong. When I questioned the tech, she hung up on me so I immediately called the store manager and he told "yes, we are having issues with our pharmacy" and he would call me back to confirm. To his credit(Orestes) he did call me back to tell me he addressed it with them. Saturday morning, I get a text that my prescription is on hold. Today, I asked my doctor to send all of my prescriptions to CVS on US1 and 88th to which they did and filled the prescription there. I did notice a big price difference since I don't believe the techs ever entered my insurance information in their system. To summarize, Walgreens has lied and stolen from me for over 3 months and I'm hoping someone in their corporate office can address this. True story: I never have cash. That's why, every time before I go get my nails done I stop at this Walgreens to collect my 2 for $3 Perrier and get cash back for tip at my salon. This is a biweekly occurrence and I've been doing this for a year so I guess I'd call myself a regular here. Sure, this is pretty your standard Walgreens. It's got a pharmacy, seasonal gifts and all the sour patch this girl could dream of. What's not typical is the staff here- specifically Maria. She's the cashier who is without fail, always at checkout every time I go! She is super sweet and if I didn't know better sometimes when I'm in there I'd think I was at a Cuban ventanita somewhere. People are chatting up a storm with each other and seem to generally enjoy themselves at this Walgreens. This is beautifully strange to me since typically I cringe at the thought of a Walgreens visit (specifically the pharmacy). Stopping At Walgreens is useful for plenty of things. Sometimes you need Advil, gum, an ankle brace, or just some emergency mascara. Nonetheless, I've ended up here to grab several last minute items. The line is always a disaster. Either there's no one at the checkout lane or I get to witness repetitive banter about mijitas whatever and I can't help but question why I'm even there. The parking lot is huge and accessible but if you're in a rush, plan accordingly. Maybe they have a more laid back approach? Beats me. They serve their purpose and notify me sometimes when I have points so it's not awful. The location is so convenient though that it makes it inevitable to avoid sometimes. I would give 0 starts if possible. We picked up a prescription in the drive thru that had been called ahead. We had one care in front of us upon arrival and I gave them benefit of the doubt that that individual in front of us had some issues. This was not the case - 30 minutes later we arrived at the window and it took another 15-20 minutes to get the 3 called ahead prescriptions. In addition / they have a sign that you can add Tylenol to you order on their drive thru window and the lady at the window told us we had to come inside. I understand help is hard to come by currently but they are very inefficient and we will never be back. If I was a shareholder this wouldn't be motivating. read more

Just visited the pharmacy to pick up a prescription through the drive-thru. The pharmacist asked for name, dob and med I was picking up. A couple of minutes later she draws the shade in my face and puts the "Closed" sign out. Lol Then, through the closed shade, I hear a voice say the prescription isn't ready and I need to go inside to get it in an hour because they are CLOSED. (Yes, you just closed your window in the MIDDLE of an interaction at 1:10pm when the meal break is supposedly at 1:30pm.) Wow! Discourteous is an understatement. My 2 year old daughter has been sick a lot lately after starting pre school and has needed a medicines along with my husband.
