I knew she was good when it took over six months to get in. I also follow her Instagram and there isn't one bad job posted. Every person's eyebrows look absolutely amazing. I love her because she has very strict rules for pre-care and post care which is great. She even microbladed her own eyebrows! The first initial appointment took a couple hours and really wasn't that painful - maybe just a little uncomfortable at times. I got mine done at her second location in Over the Rhine, Cincinnati Ohio. The procedure can last anywhere from 12 months to three years and is worth every penny.

It was my first time coming in, and i thought i couldnt be seen but when i called in Sidney got me scheduled for the same day "AMAZING SERVICE"! She reassured me of how everything would go and even went over some of the options the Dr. might have for me! I had a dent in my cheek from an acne scar that had started to get worse due to me personally doing everything possible to make it worse thinking im a dermatologist, but i explained that to her when i called in and she scheduled me right away! The visit went just as well! Gabby is also AMAZING and well informed and made me feel comfortable about the procedure before the Dr. came in. She is very friendly and made the visit much easier! Dr. Hickman is beyond professional and efficient! When i tell you i had zero pain during this procedure i am not lying.. i would not even give it a 1 on the pain scale. The receptionist and assistant were both abrasive and unwelcoming, but the dermatologist herself was by far the worst part of the experience. (Dr. Martha Hickmann) During the exam, she SCRATCHED my mother's irritated skin with her bare fingernails while examining the area. Not only was this incredibly uncomfortable, but it also felt completely unsanitary and unprofessional. There was no warning, no gentleness, and no respect for basic bedside manner. Her overall attitude throughout the appointment was shockingly condescending. Every question we asked was met with snarky, dismissive responses as if we were stupid for asking normal medical questions. When my mother asked about potential scarring from a procedure, the doctor sarcastically replied, "Every surgical procedure causes a scar," in a tone that was clearly meant to belittle rather than educate. Instead of offering reassurance or a thoughtful explanation, she acted irritated that she even had to answer. The entire appointment felt rushed and careless. Rather than explaining anything clearly or showing confidence and expertise, she seemed to just throw random possibilities around without much insight or certainty. It genuinely felt like guessing rather than informed medical care. What made the experience even worse was how physically invasive and disrespectful she was. She repeatedly put her hands on people without asking, handled irritated skin aggressively, and showed absolutely no awareness of patient comfort whatsoever. There is a massive difference between being direct and being rude, and this office crossed that line repeatedly. We left feeling uncomfortable, dismissed, and honestly upset by how unnecessarily demeaning the entire interaction was. I would absolutely never recommend this dermatologist or this office to anyone looking for compassionate, professional, or respectful care. The entire experience was awful from start to finish.

Dr. Christman took my horrific wound into his capable hands and turned it into a barely visible scar. He is knowledgeable, personable, and has a genuine interest in his patients' progresses. He personally removed my sutures. He monitored my progress weekly after the surgery and still has me visit occasionally for re-evaluation. Follow up appointments are at no additional fee. He closely monitors the healing process to make sure you have the best possible outcome. The office is neat and tidy. The staff are friendly and skilled in their professions. I'm always greeted with a smile and They make me feel like they know me and are personally invested in my wellbeing. I recommend Dr. Christman to anyone considering plastic surgery. Little did I know Christman was an out-of-network doctor, so he charged me $3200 for 2 inches of stitches, and my insurance wouldn't cover it. After the intense trauma of a terrible car accident, my car getting totaled, and my life's savings being used up for my medical bills, I called Christman's office to see if they would help me with a payment plan. The secretary told me I could give her $100 a month. I told her I couldn't afford it. And she laughed at me. She laughed at me. She said that was ridiculous-- that anyone could afford $100 a month. I began crying, and tried to explain that I was inundated with medical bills and payments for my totaled car, and that the cost of this procedure was a life-ruining amount of money. She had absolutely no sympathy. What a cruel, terrible human being. I would never, ever recommend this facility to anyone. Christman's secretary should be fired and should never be allowed to work with people again.
