Terrible experience at this Walmart, especially with the automotive workers and the managers up front. We came in needing help with the car battery case since we were having car trouble. Instead of helping, multiple employees (at least four different people, all at separate times) brushed us off, saying they couldn't assist but would find someone who could. We waited over 30 minutes-- they even called over the speakers-- yet nobody ever showed up. We finally had to track someone down ourselves, and when that person came, they had a rude, dismissive attitude. To make things worse, when we went up front, the managers just stared at us and didn't lift a finger to help. It felt like we were treated as an inconvenience rather than paying customers in need of assistance. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. Walmart is probably my least favorite place to shop at, but sometimes I need to stop there. My biggest complaint is that they never have register opens so then everyone has to use self-checkout. I don't mind self-checkout, but it's absurd that they don't have lines open for people with large orders. I happen to go in the morning this trip and the store was clean and well stocked. read more

I just HAD to write this! When I came home from Walmart, I realized I had left a bag at self checkout. It had 2 items in it for a total of about $20. I went back and explained what happened. The bag was not there. The woman at Customer Service told me to go get the items and then she credited my credit card. I thanked her profusely. I did not have a receipt as I'm sure it was in the bag I left. read more

Not great, not terrible. A number of shelves were empty here and there, but I did manage to find what I was looking for so I shouldn't complain. Food section had several items being restocked and was not particularly tidy but the cooler of beers was properly stocked. Some of the other areas were needing attention. Again, not great. Third time shopping here. Prior to this year I boycotted Walmart. I had heard they're doing better with how they treat employees so thought I'd give them a chance. This Walmart is awful. Only 1-2 cashiers to check out EVER so I always just go through self checkout. First time I went, they were out of carts indoors so I walked back to the parking lot to find a discarded cart. No one was collecting carts to return them to the store! Self checkout was a mess because the machine rang up an item 8x and I had to go to customer service to get a refund. Last time I came, the machine wasn't recognizing an item I scanned so I asked for help. The person monitoring the machines came over and said, "I don't know what to do so just go through the cashier's line," when I asked if she could help me scan the item because the machine wasn't recognizing the bar code. So I stood in line for 20 mins for that and the cashier had to call a manager. Today, the items rang up at the wrong price and the person at self checkout said she didn't know why and couldn't help. "No, I just work here," was her response when I asked if she could ring up the correct price. She then walked away and complained to the customer next to me that I was being unreasonable. No, honey, you don't work here. You stand there being unprofessional is what you do. Happy to reaffirm my commitment to avoid Walmart for another 15 years. read more

This store had two open registers, and over ten baskets in lines. The one register was telling people only a few items and the other line was telling people after 15 minutes of standing they were closing and would have to move. The managers answer was to ask if I knew anyone looking for a job, and a o well to bad you don't like starting over and over in line. She didn't seem concerned that I will never again shop in "her" store and I will share with everyone who wants to know they are not interested in customer service or happiness. read more

The store is great the staff are the best helpful and joyful and kind but the only complaint I have is the handicap carts I am currently handicapped and I was on the cart I got close to the bakery right by the exit and the car stopped and said approaching store boundary then I turned it off and moved then I went to the pizza and meals section of the grocery section if the store and it said the same thing and I was confused because I was not at the boundary and it took me 5 min to get the cart to work and move forward instead of backwards read more

Made the mistake of coming here and actually needing help. I don't have high expectations ever coming to Walmart. Outside of a quick run in and knowing exactly what you want, I'd never recommend coming to especially this location. Absolute incompetence from workers that complain openly about doing their jobs or having to help. Save your sanity. Go to Target, or the Walmart Supercenter in Sugarcreek. First, they seem to care about this location. It didn't look terrible and the employees were friendly. The greeters actually greeted people instead of seeming to be in a drug-induced stupor as they do at some of the stores, where they don't even notice you until you're a few inches from their noses. I don't think I'd ever seen the store design anywhere in the past. It won't make things faster--you wait in line forever on good days, right? It just had some differences up front. What's good is that, if you don't find what you want at Target, this store is close, so you're not driving from Miamisburg to Centerville to find it. read more

I went through the app, and it had said everything I got was in stock, but once it was being delivered that's when 5 out of 6 of my items were changed and not even close to what I had originally ordered. I don't usually review grocery stores...but after shopping at this one yesterday, I had to. This Walmart appears to be very clean and pleasant. This is extremely noticable as soon as you step inside. The aisle space is much more roomy. I mean, I'm no expert on grocery stores haha, but this place is nice. I don't usually shop at Walmarts, but I will come back to this one. read more

They never have more then 1 line open, they only want you to use the You-Scan. Can never get a money order the machine is always down. Customer Service is not the best. It's so many employees walking around but not doing anything. They need more cashiers or a better system something needs to change ASAP!!!! read more

This store's customer service is completely ridiculous! You can't take in your receipt with your coupons you forgot to use for cash or credit back?! They make you unload the car, or bring your groceries from home so they can compare your items with the receipt. What?! The items I bought are clearly on the receipt. I am not real happy with this Walmart. I normally visit the Walmart on Wilmington, but this one seemed less organized, messy and I was not comfortable shopping. Two of the workers were laughing and joking in the isle would not even move so clients could get by. I had to ask them to please move so I could pass, no apologies nothing but a eye rolling. I only get to see my family a few times a year because I live New York. I wanted to make my family dinner and bought $62.00 worth of groceries and wanted to buy one 6 pack of Snapshot beer to share with my older brother. The cashier Sandy after seeing my ID proving I am 28 thus over 21 years of age asked for my nephews I'D to prove he was over 21. He is a minor and not going to drink at all because of that. She refused to sell me the one six pack because I was shopping with my nephew who is a minor. So I asked for the manager Justin and by there standards if you are shopping with a minor you can not purchase alcohol. Which is ridiculous. That's like saying if I go to a restaurant where they serve alcohol and if the entire table is not of legal age to drink. I can not order a drink. This is a ridiculous rule Walmart. I Just had the WORST experience at Walmart Store #1504 in Dayton Ohio.. There were 60 - 70 people waiting to check out with only 2 registers open. People were getting angry. Shouting matches began. One employee (Red head woman about age 35) began to direct people to one register that was open. Then started to curse at me. When I mentioned that she representing Walmart very well with cursing, she said she was off the clock and can talk anyway she wanted. When I asked her name she zipped up her sweatshirt-hoody to hide her name badge. ...... This is a FAR CRY from the commercial showing cashiers ready to check you out so you can get on your way. After all the commotion , they opened 3 more registers out of 28 registers. Manager Brad Fetters and the Night time Managers should be FIRED!!!!!! That store is a disgrace to the Walmart Brand.
