I took my mother in-law here for her flu shot. We had an appointment, but when we arrived they asked us to scan the QR code. I was glad I was there because she would have struggled with it. Even after entering her information using the QR code, it kept saying they couldn't locate her appointment. So someone eventually checked us in manually. Actual shot was super quick and the person administering it was friendly. We shop here fairly regularly and usually get good to great service. My only complaint is they have been out of my deodorant for many weeks! read more

Wait times in the pharmacy are way too long. There has been a line every time I've been there. two family members had vaccines there this fall. I was served 20 min after my appointment time. my daughter was served 30 min after her appointment time. this isn't ok for people who go to work or school. the pharmacy needs better staffing or I will be switching. read more

Mostly the same problem. Though what brings me this time to the irritation level that I am updating my previous grievance about this particular location is likely what I'd write about all locations: The Pharmacy staff turnover has to be the highest in the industry. I'm guessing it's low pay, but from what I've experienced regarding nearly every member of this staffs technician aptitude, I'd suggest they are not underpaid. I'd propose they aren't worth half what they receive. Incompetent seems to be the kindest adjective I can think to offer. While I'm on that level of throwing insults, I'll add that Texas Governor and Ted Cruz are the most immediate names/title rung one notch beneath the common sense level of basic functionality requirements to gain employment in a Walgreens as a pharmacy tech. I just wanted to put that out there. The actual reason I am currently (this is a recurring theme) PO'd is because after waiting forever in the long lines for an Rx, all that's on one's mind is LEAVING. I've repeatedly requested they DO NOT insert the drivers license inside with the meds. It's so undetectable that the medications are dumped out, and the bag can be crushed into a ball without detecting a small plastic card inside! 3x in fewer years my wife has thrown her DL and or credit cards into the recycling or garbage. Once it happened enroute to the airport as we were planning to fly within the next hour or so. That caused the entire flight to be missed. Last Saturday I picked up an Rx for my disabled daughter, requiring my ID. An hour ago I realized my license wasn't in my wallet. Thankfully this realization occurred tonight. The garbage truck is routinely scheduled for Wednesdays. I got lucky, my license was still retrievable When we used to have the Middleton CVS, they would ALWAYS place the important plastic directly in the foldout drawer per request I think. Maybe it was policy Walgreens won't do this. It's been nearly 10 years since our insurance stuck us with this sorry example of retail pharma. This is the worst Walgreens in the world to get a prescription refill. Could tell you unbelievable excuses on their part - calls saying prescription was ready and it wasn't, e-mails saying ready for pick up, and on and on. Costco, Walmart here we come. Another voice in the choir of dissatisfied pharmacy customers. Came in for a vaccination for which I completed my paperwork online. When I arrived, there was a long line to check-in. While checking in, I'm asked to complete the paperwork I filled out when I made the appointment. After completing the paperwork, another long wait in line to turn in the paperwork previously completed. I would not recommend this location for vaccinations. It's the typical Wallgreen's. What I like is it is very close to our home and therefore very convenience when having a prescription filled. We also use this place to get our candy prior to going to a movie and at times there are some nice sales going on which make it even cheeper. At times they also have some nice selections when it comes to seasonal items such as Easter, Halloween and Christmas. read more

Have used this pharmacy for over 15 years. Always great. Seems like some of the complaints have to do with pharmacy waits in general. Also, several of the staff are introverts, but that doesn't make them unfriendly or rude. read more

The pharmacy intern (pratish?) was very incompetent, rude, and unprofessional. My husband went today to pick up a Tamiflu prescription for my 5 month old with influenza. First of all the pharmacy NEVER placed a courtesy call when the prescription was ready and then when I called in on 2 separate occasions claimed not to have prescription. It finally took my pediatrician's office calling multiple times over 24 hours after it was originally prescribed to investigate the matter. Mind you this a TIME dependent medication (should be given in first 48 hours of symptoms) and a high risk patient due to her young age. Then, when my husband went to finally pick up the prescription the pharmacy "intern" was trying to tell him he doesn't have insurance and should pay $180 out of pocket (and even then wouldn't give him the medication). We have active insurance (I am healthcare professional myself) and have been picking up prescription at this Walgreens for almost 2 years. The most recent prescription was 2 days ago for my son. Instead of just explaining to my husband that she needed to see the pharmacy benefit card when he presented his health insurance card, she told him if he doesn't have insurance he'd have to pay out of pocket. While this is going on, she scoffs at my 4 year old son who is getting upset and getting over a severe case of influenza himself. Out of frustration, my husband called me up at home while I was taking care of our sick baby. I ask to talk to the pharmacy intern who was immediately rude. I asked her if she needed the pharmacy benefit card twice. She did not answer me. Keep stating she needed a PCN number. When in all actuality she did need the pharmacy benefit card information and the PCN LETTERS (that are the same for our entire family and should be on file). She then just handed the phone off to my husband and said I don't need to deal with this. How insensitive. Too busy to deal with providing important medication to an infant with a serious illness. Finally, my husband pulled out his pharmacy benefit card and the pharmacist (not the intern) said this is what is needed. This intern is dangerous and should not be working to provide medications to customers. If we weren't persistent we would have ended up paying out of pocket or with no medicine at all. read more

I never go here during the day, and should have kept it that way. I was there yesterday 5-2-2016 at approx. 9:30am. And of course, as usually it takes one crazy woman who has pictures to pick up, an attitude, and a friend in line to mess it up for everyone. I wish I could review that lady on here. Not enough cashiers until the line is really long and after everyone has been waiting, 2 more cashiers show up and people just butt in front of you. And then of course there is the man that has to butt in front of you while 4 other people are already waiting and doesn't even offer the other people waiting to go ahead. Mind you the cashier did say she could help the next person in line but didn't tell the guy that other people were ahead of him. She should of but she was put out cause she had to stop scanning the cigarettes. Which was the 2nd time cause of the crazy woman and her pictures. I understand that things need to get done, but scanning cigarettes and not checking behind you every few minutes to check the line is not logical in my opinion. Especially when the one cashier is sooooooo slow. Logic would dictate that you would keep an eye on her and your patrons. Just saying. But after all is said in done, NO MORE day trips to the Middleton Walgreen's!!! read more

Gotta give a big THANKS! to this Walgreens. I found myself there shoeless with an overheated dog and they had no problem letting me come in with the dog to buy some water for him. It is rare for a big chain store to be so dog and barefoot friendly! read more
