There was once a Walgreens on Eastern and in Corporate wisdom they closed that one putting pressure on the one on 19th and didn't add people to service their pharmacy. They are slow, overworked, and just plain rude. Fix this place quickly. read more

Most people there are very unfriendly, prescriptions are not what the doctors prescribe. Dr prescription was for 60mg cream (for rapid relief). I was given 2 30mg (what the heck do I need 2 tubes of a cream that was 60 mg for FAST relief) Once a rude pharmacist made me wait for 1 hour for my prescription that was ready in 15 minutes, another one saw that and gave it to me, you could see she was embarrassed about her coworker's behavior. Service has totally gone downhill. They claim my refill for prescription was denied yet they NEVER submitted it to my doctor. I called them and they hung up on me several times and kept saying hello hello when I did get through. Very unprofessional. Whoever VICTOR is at the pharmacy these days, should be FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!! This Walgreens could suck Amy worse if they tried. After being a customer for over twenty five years, I finally have had enough of the current ineptitude, so I transferred all my scripts to Wal-Mart Pharmacy. My Dr wrote a script for a 90 day supply, but Walgreens only gave me one month, because of their "new" policy. So when they transferred my scripts, they told Walmart there were no refills left on that script, which had two months left. After waiting on hold for over thirty minutes I finally drove to the store, in a snow storm, to speak with them. They told me my Dr cancelled the script, which is not true. They were looking at an old script from my previous Dr from 6 months ago. Now Walmart is having to contact my new Dr to get the script rewritten. Can't get away from them fast enough. read more

Arrived an hour after prescription was called in. They said it wasn't ready yet because they had issues figuring out insurance. They said it was now figured out, they just needed time to get the prescription together, and to come back in 2 hours. No problem. I return in 2 hours and am kept waiting another 30 minutes. They tell me they can't fill the pain med due to something not being checked on the form. I ask why they didn't tell me when I came in before so I could get it straightened out then. No good reason. I ask for my antibiotic to help the infection that is now making me shaky. They ask me to wait 3 more minutes. Then they call me back to the window to tell me they don't have the antibiotic in stock. Of course it is now 5 minutes after the dentist's office closed. If they had given me this information at any point in the process, I could have gotten my prescription. Instead I had to go home and tough it out another night. I've been a Walgreens customer for at least 25 years, but I have now switched to Moore Rx where the pharmacists actually talk to you and treat you with care. read more

Called in Wednesday -Automated said prescription would be ready for pickup two days later on Friday after certain time and would be contacted. No response from Walgreens at that time. Called again, automated response said partially filled. Called Walgreens and tried to check with live person at pharmacy to see when prescriptions needed would be filled. Put on hold for over 20 minutes. I finally hung up. Pharmacy closed on Saturday and Sunday. Not the kind of service you need when a Dr prescribes Life Saving Medication that you need to take consistently. I cannot believe Management is not aware of this problem. Seems from other reviews I have read, they would have to be aware, but simply are not capable of fixing the problem. I hate to change because the location is convenient. However, this kind of service is not productive for people who use Walgreens Pharmacy at this location. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for 10 years. They have been average overall. The last couple of months this particular walgreens has gone down the toilet. 1. the pharmacy is now closed on weekends! I'm talking Saturday and Sunday. I had to go 2 days without my meds because this pharmacy f'ed up my prescription so I couldn't pick it up on Friday. 2 =. The wait times are now ridiculous. 3. This pharmacy tried to double charge me. I said no and they had to eat the cost. 4. The people working here are just stupid. read more

Went through the drive-through to pick up a med that was ordered and was supposed to be ready, the customer service of the tech or pharmacist at the window was like she was having a bad day and she was not easy to deal with. Went inside to get prescriptions there was a tag that said $22.99 with $2.00 less coupon making it $20.99. The pharmacist said that they wouldn't use the less coupon on the tag when we used our rewards number. They need to advertise to get the coupon off the internet to get the less taken off. They are doing a lot of misleading the customers. read more

I was unable to get the pharmacist on duty's name due to the extremely short and rude engagement I experienced with her. My son is 10 years old and has been taking Methylphendiate (Metadate) 30mg extended release capsules for over 2 years now. We have been utilizing this pharmacy to fill his prescriptions for over a year now with no issues. We have never needed to fill a prescription early in this time, his normal prescription refills fall on the first of every month. My son is going on a 15-day vacation with his grandmother to Florida to celebrate finishing another school year and due to this will be out of town when his refill is typically ready to be picked up. Due to this, I contacted his PCP and explained the situation to them and they agreed to refill his prescription early so he would not run out while on vacation. His refill was prescribed on 5/23/23 and I was instructed by his PCP to pick it up from the pharmacy on 5/25/23 so it would be as close to the typical refill date as possible. The doctor approved the request and sent it to the pharmacy. I called on 5/23/23 to confirm with the pharmacy they received the refill and had it filled, they confirmed this and I notified them I would be there on 5/25/23 to pick it up. When I went in today to pick up the prescription I was rudely told by the pharmacy technician on duty, "it's too early to fill this. The doctor sent the refill and we have received it, but we will not fill it until the first when it's due." When I explained the situation to her and showed her the approved refill by the doctor I had on my phone, she disregarded it entirely and walked away to speak with the pharmacist. The pharmacist refused to speak to me directly and told the pharmacy technician to tell me that they would not refill it regardless of receiving the early refill request by the doctor. I walked away upset and called my son's emergency line attempting to get some kind of help but due to the drug being classified as a Class-C they were unable to contact my son's PCP after-hours. While I was on the phone with the emergency line, my spouse walked back up to the counter to speak with the pharmacist. Their encounter was the most disgusting display of disregard for a child's well-being and mental health we have ever experienced. My spouse simply asked the pharmacist if there was anything we could do to assist our son when he experiences withdrawals from not having his medication while on vacation. The pharmacist rudely stated that "children don't experience withdrawals from methylphenidate." My spouse explained to her that he has experienced them in the past with medication shortages and that he takes 30mg daily which is a lot for anyone, especially a child. Her expression changed drastically when she was told the dosage he takes daily, but she still continued with there was nothing they could do and to, "just call your doctor." If your pharmacist on duty doesn't even know/understand that a Class-C drug can cause withdrawals when stopped "cold turkey" she should not be allowed to practice pharmaceuticals nor be allowed a license in any state. She needs to be retrained on her drugs and their side effects, customer service skills, and basic human compassion. It is my hope through this long winded explanation that she is dealt with accordingly so no other parent and child has to experience what we went through this evening. We will never fill another prescription through any Walgreens and have moved all prescriptions to another pharmacy chain. This pharmacy also needs to be associated with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) so others can easily report this kind of negligence so pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are held accountable for their actions. read more

There is really only one thing I don't like about Walgreens and that is their prices. I can get something for $5 at Walgreens and drive up the street and get the same thing for $1.50. But there are several things I really enjoy about Walgreens! I love how they are on every corner almost, very convenient. I love that they carry several different types of necessities. I love that they have the cutest little gifts and things you don't find other places. I love the point reward system! And particularly I love that this Walgreens has been remodeled and is so clean, organized and nice. read more

This is the most unhelpful store with the rudest employees. After dealing with the lady in the photo department today I refuse to do any kind of business with them again. She would not see why my $5 coupon wouldn't work - she literally tossed it back at me after scanning it once and said she couldn't take it because it wouldn't read it. Then when I swiped my card she said "it's asking if you would like to donate" and I said "no it's says processing". After 30 seconds she said "it's asking again if you would like to donate" I flipped the machine around and said "NO it's says "processing!". she got really rude with me when she realized she needed to push another button for it to ask me if I would like to donate. So she did and then she said "well get your card back out because it didn't read it the first time" ... so I went to swipe it and she said "face down". (My card was clearly face down) she said again louder and more irritated "face down!" I said "IT IS FACE DOWN" and she said "oh you don't have a chip? Well then yeah you're doing it right". Really? Thank you for acknowledging that I can read a little picture on a machine to understand how a credit card works. she should be in the back opening boxes not dealing with customers ever again. read more

Absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with!! CVS across the street is great, but unfortunately BCBS switched this year. Every single time I need to refill, I run into some problem. Did a refill request through the app, options were 8pm or 9pm pickup, I chose 9pm. Showed up at 8:59PM and the pharmacist already had the sign on the door saying closed. They have never been customer service oriented. I'm done with that store, hopefully another Walgreens in Moore has better pharmacists! read more

My favorite walgreens location! The staff is really nice and always ask if you need help finding anything while you are in the store. The store is bright and clean and my fav is the carry lots of Shea moisture products for african american hair and skin. I pass two other walgreens just to drive to this one. read more
