I don't know what the point of having to make an appointment to get a COVID swab done is, if when you get there you're forced to wait 40 minutes and then told "sorry, we're closed for lunch, come back in an hour". I completely forgot about my experience I had a month ago. Today I need an antibiotic called in, so my doctor sent it to this one because it's close to my home. You should not have to wait an hour in the drive through to pick up a prescription. This location needs to be shut down. Horrible wait time and horribly rude staff. read more

Placed an order for pickup. Received an email that order was delayed even though it was just 3 items. Went to the store to get it myself. Store was a disaster and their excuse was that the ac was broken and it was father's day. Couldn't even find anyone to help me for awhile. If the store is unable to be staffed, it should not be open. They made me wait 35 min in line to pick up a med that I had 90 refill at the 66213 store and the 66062 which I hadn't use for 1.5 years filled 27 of them god know from what prescription and when then my 66213 store closed that 90 unit prescription behind 6 cars took me 35 min to get to the window she locked it in my face with 3 cars still behind me they just don't give a f to us our time our meds they don't pay enough and those still work there spend time on Covid shots than their long term customers like we will suffer while they sacrifice us for more money you be angry if you were me not the first time in last 2 years similar experience happens to me every other week I get a text that 3 meds are ready I go there wait in line they have 1 unrelated to the text ready i am moving on read more

If I could give this store a minus on the stars, I would! What a horrible experience this afternoon after I made an online appt to get a senior flu jab this morning for 2:20 p.m. appt today. There were tons of other appts available today listed online for the 545 E. Santa Fe location so I thought I'd be safe and not have to wait around with tons of other people - wrong, wrong, WRONG!!!!! I NEVER had this experience when Walgreens had their clinic there with Becky (nurse practioner) administering the shots, etc. I MISS her so much. Hey, Walgreens - you did yourself a HUGE injustice by closing down the clinic next to the pharmacy. You got so big that you know no longer care about the inconvenience! Well, about today - I filled out ALL of the info online around 10 a.m. for a 2:20 p.m. appt. for today. It clearly showed my birthdate being a senior for the 65+ flu vaccine. I got there at 2:10 and waited while she tried to "find" my paperwork online. A lot of good it did to do it all ahead of time. Then I waited more... and more... tons of people with and without masks were waiting for their prescriptions and there were numerous walk-ins for covid/flu vaccines. The area was way too full. The pharmacy employees were taking their time waiting on drive-through and those in the pharmacy area. I didn't get called to get my shot until 25 minutes after my appt. THEN, if I had not asked "I AM getting the SENIOR dose, right?" I would have gotten a regular dose because they hadn't "noticed" that I was over 65! She said they hadn't noticed and just filled it as a REGULAR flu vaccine! THEN back to the swamped waiting area while she corrected my paperwork and flu vaccine to the senior dose. More waiting.... when she did administer the senior flu vaccine, she jabbed me so hard that I started bleeding profusely. Blood running down my arm. My arm ached right away and I've never had that hard of a jab or bleeding like that ever after a vaccination. She sighed and put two bandaids on. She gave NO info about side effects, NO telling me to wait around for a few minutes like Becky or others have done. The waiting area was packed and people were angry at the wait and slowness. So.... the covid vaccine, covid testing is mandated and the flu vaccine is being pushed - and yet there is such a staff shortage, tremendous stress and chaos. Welcome to a chaotic world. I will not be going to this Walgreens again. My arm is still bleeding and aching horribly - and I'm not a bit happy with how it went today. read more

With the exception of the pharmacist and an associate working in the OTC pharmacy area, Jen, the staff here are extremely rude. When I rang my purchase at the pharmacy, the cashier was not polite or friendly. I brought a few other purchases to the main register, where two employees were chitchatting to each other and stocking cigarettes. After waiting a bit, I said, "would someone like to take my money?" with a smile. One of the employees turned to me and told me I needed to wait a minute and be patient. I told him that it would be nice if he could at least acknowledge my presence, at which point he tried to start an argument. I walked away and left my purchases on the counter. Inept pharmacists and pharmacy staff. I have had incidents where the prescription wasn't filled after the doctor sent it over, told a prescription was ready and it wasn't. Makes me concerned about mistakes that might be made with my rx's. My insurance dictates where I go or I would definitely go elsewhere. read more

I go to this walgreens mainly because it's close to home. More so now, since Dillions has closed across the street. It is an older type walgreens building but it does the job. Only dislike is not being 24hrs and having to travel all the way to the 75th and metcalf one for late hour meds. There is always a staff/manager in sight willing to answer a question if needing. I think this is mainly due to always transitioning the store's products around. Only drawback is you can definitely tell when the truck will be coming soon. They tend to run out of perishable products often. read more

If I could give a zero, I would. Wrote a terrible review last month. Nothing has changed since then. Now they're trying to fill new prescriptions under old prescription numbers and providers I no longer see. You can't call the pharmacist to tell them what a confused group they are because they refuse to answer the phone during business hours. They say they're too busy. My next thought is possible legal action and contacting JoCo Board of Health to see if I can just get them shut down. The number of mistakes they are making on prescriptions has to be astronomical! read more

Over the past couple of years, I've noticed that the lines are getting longer for people picking up their prescriptions, either at the walk-up desk or in the drive-through lanes (2). But now it is absurd how long it takes. The last 3 times I've been there, I've waiting no less than 30 minutes. The staff is always very helpful and nice but management doesn't seem to care about this situation. I've complained to corporate and they say they will have the manager contact me about my complaint (3 times) but no one has called me. They simply need more staff working those lines. I've decided to transfer all of my prescriptions to Walmart Pharmacy. My wife goes there and we've never had a long wait. read more

I'm giving a one star rating as my review reflects the pharmacy not the convenience store. Very rarely are my interactions with the pharmacy positive. Today was the absolute worst. My prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy 30 minutes before I arrived to pick them up. I had been to Urgent Care and needed my medicine right away so I asked them to send over the prescriptions first. When I arrived I was informed they were not ready but to wait 20 minutes. I waited 30 minutes before my prescription was available. (One hour total to fill the prescription) Then I was missing a prescription. Instead of an empathic person consoling me for my missing prescription (that I needed for pain) I received a brash individual of 'oh well, call your doctor.' Hours later my prescription is filled. Yay! Well, not so fast... the great customer service from Walgreens helped two cars in the other lane before assisting me. I felt this was intentional And obviously was very unprofessional. I will be switching pharmacies. read more

Today my boyfriend had to step up and bag items for a customer because the cashier said a 20 oz soda was too heavy for her to bag. She literally said to the lady, "if you want a bag you have to do it." If the cashier can't bag items, who can? And why is she working there?? read more

I've always used this Walgreens to fill my prescriptions, buy some of my makeup, and grab snacks or items I'm running low on. The people there have always been friendly and helpful. They even have boxes of coupons that they go through for you in order to find discounts and money off wherever they can. I love the people in the pharmacy. They are so helpful and patient and have never been anything but courteous to me. read more

Made an appointment to see the nurse practioner yesterday. I was called right in with no wait. She listened to my concerns and quickly and efficiently diagnosed my condition. My script was sent to the pharmacy portion of the store. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my script was ready. I would go there again in a heart beat. Great customer service! read more

I love my Walgreen's! The pharmacy is great, professional and friendly. The sales are remarkable and selection of items is great.

Attempted to refill a prescription only to find out my doctor's office denied the request. Walgreens never informed me until I called days later to check on the status. The tech literally hung up on me when I told her Walgreens should have called to update me out of courtesy. Now I'm headed out of town for my father's funeral, pregnant, very sick, and without medicine to help the nausea. Will never do business here again. read more

I have tried to use this pharmacy numerous times since I live close by but there is ALWAYS a problem with the prescription. The doctor messed up, the dentist didn't call, the insurance will not go through, the hospital prescription is not clear and on and on and on. It is NEVER their fault, even though the doctors, dentists, insurance companies are all different over the years. The clerks are rude. They are the WORST pharmacy in town! read more
