Another 5+ minutes only to be told that their "system is down." Needless to say, I was not happy, did not purchase my items since I Had a GIFT CARD that could not be used that had been PURCHASED for me. I was told to go to Arden area Ulta even though that store has closed. Then I was told I could use it online; as though spending an hour and 20 minutes in their store is all for nothing. LaToya totally eased all my anxiety and OCD-related worries about getting permanent brows done by fully including me in the process. Without even knowing about my anxiety and my OCD brain, the first thing she did was hand me a mirror and said, "Hold that mirror the whole time because you will be consulted about everything I do every step of the way." This immediately eased my mind. During the mapping process, LaTota asked all of the right questions such as "Do you like your eyebrows thick or thin?" "Do you like more of an arch or less of an arch" "Do you like the tail more or less tapered?" I showed her some of my own pictures where I liked the way my brows looked and she completely recreated the way I do my brows by just some of those simple questions. She used her expertise to map out the perfect shape of my eyebrows and opened it up for suggestions on how I may have wanted them to be adjusted. With no hesitation, she made the adjustments I requested (and even went back and fixed some of the less favorable adjustments I asked for. Lol). I do have to add that I have a complicated eye brow piercing and she actually tattooed it exactly the way I usually do my brows just by my feedback. LaToya has the patience of a saint and the best vibes ever!!! Throughout the tattooing phase, she gave me some colors to choose from and let me test each color on my skin. The one she suggested based off of her professional expertise was actually the one I loved the most. She checked for comfort throughout the tattooing, I didn't need any breaks because #1 she did a good job with the numbing cream, #2 I'm used to tattoos, and #3 after each pass through of darkening the eyebrows, she had me check in the mirror to make sure I was happy with the result. In the end, LaToya made sure to give extra special notice to touching up anything she felt necessary and provided everything I needed to leave comfortably. Her attention to detail, expertise, professionalism, warm and welcoming demeanor, and positive and inclusive vibe was much more than I could have ever asked for in a Master Paramedical Tattoo Artist.
