This is my neighborhood Walgreens and I greatly appreciate the staff that provide assistance. I receive my prescriptions and vaccinations from the pharmacy. The technicians are very kind and although they are often super busy, they take the time to be compassionate knowing that I have medical issues. I was in the neighborhood, and stopped to read the reviews. The reviews were not that great, but I decided to come here anyway. It was 4pm and everything looked like a normal Walgreens. The cars in the parking lot looked normal. There weren't any people hanging out on the sidewalk. Looks safe to me. I went inside, and it still looked like a normal Walgreens. Humm, I dunno about those other reviews... I've never been here before, but I decided to look for the KT Tape in the same area of the store that I had found it at other Walgreens, near the Pharmacy in the back. The line at the Pharmacy was only 2 people, and the pharmacy tech was helping the first person in line. This seems normal also. I passed a few other customers, and they were minding their own business. This is a normal thing. I found the KT Tape and went to the check-out. There were a couple of customers before me, so I got to watch the interactions. The cashier was young, thin, with green hair, and had a smile on her face. She was chatting with the customers who were in line before me, and she was friendly, sociable, and laughing at their jokes. I had a good experience, and the wait times were absolutely normal. I feel like this is all too common of a review, but the pharmacy suckssss. I stood there for 15 minutes waiting for them to open at 9am sharp. They never opened- little did I know the "pharmacist was running late." Life happens which I get and can be very gracious about, but a staff member was in the aisle scanning items, seeing me clearly waiting.l for the pharmacy to open which wasn't opening on time. I finally flag her down and ask what's going on and she only then tells me the pharmacist is running late... first have the decency to let me know the obvious fact that would've saved me from being late to work. This Pharmacy is not only the worst pharmacy imaginable - this pharmacy is probably the most inept business in the State of Oregon. Nobody can answer basic questions, including manager and pharmacist. Every basic refill is a complete mess with refusals, delays and nobody from the pharmacy can say why. Nobody knows and worse, nobody cares. They are so poor at their jobs at this Walgreens pharmacy, the entire pharmacy should be shut down, all of the people working there dismissed, new people hired and retrained. The store workers are wonderful. No complaints at all with them. However the pharmacy needs to get employees who will do their job without making the customer feel inferior or bothersome. The first gentleman I talked to was wonderful and he told me my prescription would be ready in 30-35 mins. An hour and 15 mins had passed so I went back to the window, and Sandra, the woman working, was a complete c**t. She was immediately annoyed that I was even at the window and when I kindly told her I was returning after an extended wait time she looked at me like I was dumb and made me feel bad for even being there. She didn't apologize for the delay and she said there would be another ten minute wait in a very snarky tone. It was close to closing time so I kindly asked if it would be done by the time they closed and she snapped back around and said "TEN MINUTES!" very rudely. I wasn't being rude or impatient, I was just curious. I'm sorry i wouldn't be coming in and bothering her but I need my medication. I'll be switching pharmacies. I don't want to be made to feel like I'm a burden for needing something that keeps me alive. read more

Photo print desk service is awful! They treat you like you are a bother. They berate you with pressing questions, and bad looks if you need to explain what you need. The print desk is usually vacant with no one to retrieve your prints for payment. You have to hunt the store to find staff to help. The store manager not in store to correct the problem. Will not return. read more

I have been to this Walgreens a number of times, and I am ALWAYS very pleased with the level of professionalism and knowledge the staff shows. This pharmacy is the worst I have ever been to. Back in September I had new prescription made for my medication that I need to be on everyday. I go to fill them yesterday and they lost my prescription they said they never received them even though I have proof they were sent to them on Sept 11. It's just one issue after the other. First they're closed because they're short staffed, next time you go their Verizon line is down and you can't get prescriptions unless you pay cash and they're very very argumentative and defensive. We are not the only fed up customers. We see the same thing happening with other people walking in before and after us. It's just always one excuse after the other. Let me make it clear I am not blaming the pharmacists. They are trying to do their jobs daily the best they can under lousy stressful conditions. This pharmacy even shut down at one time for several days and you couldn't get any medicine from them and I believe it was because they were short staffed then , which seems to be constant so we had to have a few of our prescriptions transferred to another Walgreens a while back. Do not go here for the pharmacy. Not only do they not staff it appropriately, they lie to customers making them wait hours for vaccines they don't actually have it appears. And their manager puts staff and patients in unsafe and unsanitary conditions. I wouldn't want anything in my arm from this place. You'd be wise to use CVS or Rite Aide. read more

I got to their pharmacy and had to stand in line a LONG time only to find out that I would have to wait a LONG time AGAIN for what I went in for. Instead of wasting even more time, I left. The store in Oregon City needs more staff. Called in to refill prescription week prior to showing up to get it. Staff were overwhelmed and with only 1person ahead of me it took 45 minutes for them to get it for me. This was about 1030 am. read more

Walgreens is the anti-big box nirvana for people who like close-to-the-door parking, clean, well-lit shopping environment, and the wait in line is almost always short. I've read some other reviews about this location in general, but I've always had a pretty good experience and I like the brand, so I'm a bit biased. However, this location is not exactly ready for a bus load of shoppers to pull up at the door. The staff does move at a bit of a slower pace and if you happen to be behind other shoppers, then, will, you will be waiting for a bit. I was satisfied with my visit here, but not impressed. I got there right at 8am, and the staff were just getting inside themselves. I am glad I was not in a hurry - I just took my time and the cashier spent a lot of time chatting. On any other day or setting I might've been annoyed at their tardiness in opening the store. The clerk tried finding me a coupon for an expensive scar cream, but did not have one. I appreciate her efforts and commentary. Store is in nice shape. read more

Pretty good place. The prices are nowhere near ideal, the location is great though. You can find a wide variety of things here, including the coolest Black Panther Action figure I've ever seen. There is nothing to distinguish this spot from any other Walgreens particularly. Near as I can tell there are no customer restrooms. Do not buy the beef jerky here, you can buy it for less than half the price at the Grocery Outlet a block away. This is the best place to get enemas, suppositories, and some juices. Now, I always have problems with this Walgreens. Specifically one employee in particular. I believe her name is Mary and she is always incredibly rude and today something happened that blew my mind. Me and my mother were in the checkout line and these two older men were in front of us and talking to the cashier about how they don't like wearing masks and the cashier was saying she doesn't enforce masks in the store and they were talking about how dumb it is to get vaccinated so one of the men pulled up his shield while they continued their conservation and they were joking about it. This is appalling and disgusting behavior in a pharmacy where people go to get their medications. This is risking people's health and wellbeing by exposing them by letting them go without a face covering. The fact that she can just let people go without a mask in a pharmacy needs to be stopped. With the way she was speaking, it sounded like it was a common occurrence letting people go maskless in the store. I feel unsafe to go to this location and I will not be going back and I'll tell all of my family and friends about it so they don't go to this location. Something needs to be done. read more

This pharmacy is understaffed. In trying to hurry they make mistakes. Been at the drive through for 24 minutes and counting waiting for something that was supposed to be done a half hour ago. Guess they forgot 1 of the 2 prescriptions. They also did the insurance wrong. Pharmacist also scratched my car with their slide out door to make things worse. I'm still sitting here... I currently have an employee here under review here for her godawful humiliation of my elderly mother. I was on speakerphone with my mother telling her what I wanted and I here the cashier(self proclaimed manager) screaming at my mother to get back because she's dealing with a customer, my mother was asking me questions and they yell at her saying they're taking care of another customer, my mother then asked to speak to the manager and she gave a condescending laugh and said "I am the manager ". I heard that ladies attack and was appalled. I called corporate and made a complaint and they followed up. The real store manager called me and was very kind and said my mother should have never had to deal with that and they will retrain that employee although I don't know if I'll ever return if I see that person still working there. I believe discrimination was involved because this was the second time my mother was rudely dealt with, this being the worst. My mother was literally shaking when she got back home. read more

My biggest complaint about Walgreen's is how SLOW they are at customer check out!! Rarely do i get in and out in a timely manner! Most of the time they have less then five ppl waiting in line that takes fifteen minutes to wait in due to one person a register.. and then when they call for help it takes a long time to get someone up there! VERY irritating... makes me wonder why they always have such a lack of help and employee's there.... Most of the time i would rather just go to Bi Mart where the CS is much better and faster even with more ppl in the store..Not worth going to unless I have to. read more

Picked up a couple prescriptions and they gave me one they shouldn't have. I tried to do the honest thing and take it back. They were mad at me and rude- told me they can't take any back once off premises- which I get. But shouldn't they be telling you what they are giving to you for confirmation. I wish there was a way to select negative stars. I have NEVER had even a satisfactory experience at this Walgreens Pharmacy even for getting basic Rx's that I've taken for years. The staff and pharmacists are unbelievably TERRIBLE and you are literally risking your health by going there. They are beyond RUDE every time- all of them- and make so many mistakes and then blame everyone else and give excuses and have the worst attitude of any supposed "professionals" I've ever encountered- if you can even call them that. I ordered a prescription and nearly two weeks later it's still not filled. They say the doctor didn't fax the renewal, but I was in his office when he did almost a week ago. The pharmacy staff is rude and their indifference is so obvious. They have asked me my dob, at the drive thru window; might I add, there is no privacy glass at the counter inside the store. All the information I give is not private. Do pharmacies not have to adhere to HIPPA regulations? I know there are caring and pleasant, as well as capable people who would gladly fill those spots, should management ever wise up and clean house. Walgreens should feel ashamed to allow the current pharmacy staff represent who they are. I have left that store once before and reading the other reviews was a good reminder as to the why I made that decision.
