One of the many Walgreens locations in the desert. Needed to get a battery for my car fob. Wandered around since it was pretty quiet inside and ended up browsing the cosmetic section. I did appreciate that it was fairly clean and reasonably stocked. Cashier seemed to be a little annoyed with me when I asked a question and then ran off the moment he handed me my receipt with zero eye contact the entire time, but I was in and out of there quickly. I'll probably go back again as it wasn't trashed or overrun with people at that time. read more

Their website doesn't work. Their pharmacists don't seem to care about precision and/or details and/or service in an industry where precision / details / service are life and death. They lose prescriptions, forget to fill prescriptions, blame everyone else for their mistakes. I think if they spent half as much time on dispensing medicine and servicing their customers as they appear to spend arranging their dusty RUBBER DUCK COLLECTION (yes, you read that right. Every surface is covered with Rubber Ducks), they might be on to something. read more

This is the worst Walgreens i have ever been to. The customer service here is down right horrendous. Not one single smile or friendly service from the workers here. They act like they work at a funeral home and are extremely unhelpful. They have no business working with other people. Sheila the cashier in particular is outwardly rude and makes snark comments at the slightest inconvenience. This is management's problem, your workers learn from your and you are supposed to lead them and set the standard. Absolutely do not come here if you can. read more

The worst of the worst. ================================================= If they created a Walgreens any worse than this location on Vista Chino in Palm Springs, CA please tell me about it .. so I can update my review. Not sure if you know this, but if you are picking up prescriptions for someone else other than yourself... you need to know their name, their birthdate, proper name of medication, milligrams or dose and probably address as well. Also, if the person you are picking up for has insurance, and they probably well should, considering the cost of medications today, then you better know who their medical provider (doctor) is and who is covering the majority of the bill (besides GoodRx or some other ..) You CAN be the good samaritan and pick up prescriptions for other people but unless you are the caregiver, significant other or relative... why would you? Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid have all become epic failures in modern medicine. It's long lines, confused and exhausted pharmacists and lost prescription trails. You could say its the software that's causing this drama and it could very well be! Or you could say that the pharmacists and drug store personnel as a whole are entirely overworked and underpaid. However you want to say it, the entire business concept is a fail. I have, over the last 12 years, tried to make this location a pharmacy location that worked... not for me...but for other people... in fact... I tried desperately to convince them NOT to go to this pharmacy for anything other than gum. They did not listen. After 3 hours of desperately trying to sort out someone's prescription for them, after having this store tell me that they didn't have the prescription or they lost the prescription or they couldn't call or they wouldn't answer the phone or they wouldn't fill the prescription TODAY... This Wall Greens doesn't honor their appointments for vaccinations. Appointments mean nothing. My wife had an appointment for the same time the pharmacy went to lunch. She waited for 45 minutes, and she was the first one there, but when the pharmacy got back from lunch they didn't ask who was there first. Instead they rudely pushed my wife to the back of the line. She had to give up after waiting for almost an hour, and she was treated like garbage by the uncaring staff. Pluck this flace! read more

I've received 4 vaccinations here in the past 2 months. All went smoothly and professionally. It is slightly inconvenient that the online consent forms did not seem to show up ahead of my visit, but I was happy to fill out the paper form. My doctor's office received prompt notices of the immunizations. read more

Quite possibly the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. I had a prep prescription sent to them from another state to fill and for whatever reason they didn't call me to tell me the update nor did they care that I was out of meds and needed some. Job security is nice but if you can't even do the job you were set up to do eventually the donators and and clientele will start to realize your lack of providing top quality care will eventually be your end. You should go above and beyond in making sure each person has the treatment they need! And the complacency in your attitudes and tone on the phone is not desired nor required. I called in a medication 3 hrs. ago. They said come same-day by 5pm, but they closed early by 3pm! None of the clerks know what I was talking about and just shrugged their shoulders....is anyone accountable or did I just dream up my phone call? read more

I recently went there to get a COVID test done for my 11 year old daughter because it was the only place it had appointments open during this time. As I get to the window the lady greets me then asks me for information I give the info to her then she goes ahead and tells me I'm not in the system hence I had done the appointment in the morning for the afternoon. Upon waiting there f15 minutes she tells me I have to drive around while they get the info and paperwork ready because they failed to check the system. This is not acceptable they should have everything ready to go when someone gets there this is by far the worst Walgreens I've been to. Update: I went back to the store after they told me to come back in 10 min and still couldn't find my info and wanted to schedule me a different time. Walgreens needs to address this situation ASAP you've lost a customer and there are many more to come. Your store and pharmacy is a joke I will never do business with you again. read more

Getting very sick and tired of going to the pharmacy after getting a message, only to find they are closed. Pharmacy message said they were open till 7, and I get there at 4 and they have closed at 3. Even the days they are open have been restricted. I might have to start going back to the DAP, or switch to CVS!!! read more

I just called Walgreens corporate office at 1-800-925-4733. It's absolutely ridiculous that this pharmacy is always closed. I also want to file a complaint with the state of California. The staff are super friendly and helpful, when they're working. The problem is with inconsistency in hours and availability. The hours and the days the pharmacy are open seem to change daily, with no notice nor update to their website. They can't seem to make up their minds as to whether they're a pharmacy or Covid clinic when they are open. read more

This has to be the worst pharmacy out there. Been trying to get my meds for a week. Finally called my doc to have them transferred to cvs. I went in on a Wednesday to finally pick them up after constant being left on hold.sorry mister the pharmacy is closed Wednesdays and the weekend, ok I'll come back tomorrow. Arrive Thursday (tomorrow) they are closed again, no one in the store knows why. Guess they just didn't feel like coming in today . I never write reviews but I had to for this place . This particular Wal Greens has the most professional and friendly pharmacy that I have experienced. The drive thru is convenient and if your lucky you could be entertained with a homeless fist fight in the parking lot or one of them urinating in front of you while picking up your prescription. On the weekends in the evenings they have a taco guy serving tacos on the side street next to the pharmacy drive thru, if you play your cards right it could be a great place to take a date. read more

Come on, Walgreen's, you can afford to invest some money to clean up this store. It is looking worn and dirty, it is grossly understaffed and the pharmacy service is absolutely horrible. Get some contractors in there to freshen things up and hire more staff to ensure that you don't have to wait in line for 1/2 hour just to pick up a script. Ran over to pick up meds on my lunch break. Supposed to be ready 30 min before I got there. They were not ready. They would not fill them while I waited. They told me it would be at least five hours. This is happened numerous times over the past year with this Pharmacy. The worst part about it is that they never apologize for their mistake. read more

This place sucks! The prescriptions are never right. I use the Walgreens app to order refills and still it isn't ready.

Walgreens has consistently gone from bad to worse. Do yourself a favor and go online or to Vons. Rite Aid is ok, but even they have said to come in and then didn't have the drug. Twice! Driving to get medicine that is ready for pick up means it is ready. The internet says they are open, but bad luck if they put a sign up that they are closed for a few days. With online YOU get your prescriptions and no hassle. I might at at this store one of the cashiers was just Rude. I won't be returning to the store and have made sure my Doctors know where I get my prescriptions now. read more

Terrible customer service. Website and phone app often do not work properly. It's always a guessing game if the pharmacy will be open. They don't even bother to put up a sign when hours change. Today I arrived to find out that the pharmacy will be closed Saturday and Sunday and MAYBE open on Monday. At least put up a notice of closings on website and app!!! read more

It seems every time we come in something rings up wrong. Last time went in for razors, of course they were priced wrong. I had to show the manager, who made it pretty obvious he thought we were lying. California law also states if an item rings up wrong you get three dollars back. These guys must not have got the memo because we have to tell them every time. Although this rating is under a previous location that I dealt with, I really think it pertains to every big Pharmacy like Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, etc. What the heck is with the attitude of seemingly every Pharmacist these days? Walgreens has a really bad app for starters and they close down their pharmacies randomly, so the hours of operation are always incorrect. I moved back to the desert more than a year ago and have had horrible experiences with literally every Pharmacy I've gone to. I've decided to try only smaller Pharmacies now that can remember what business they are in. If the big box pharmacies don't want to respect their pharmaceutical customers, then they should just get out of the business or turn every location into huge convenience stores and drop the use of "pharmacy" from their corporate titles. read more

I have to say after living in San Francisco for the last 12 years, I'm not a fan of Walgreens in Palm Springs. I ordered online and my order was lost (granted that's an online issue, but both divisions should talk to each other). The pharmacy staff were nice and helpful. I was visiting and forgot my prescription and needed an early refill. The staff were all wonderful and very helpful. They even called my insurance for me so I wouldn't have to pay full price. UNfortunately, this is the closes Walgreens to my house. I've had three separate occasions in which the staff are rude and have no idea to handle an annoyed customer (e.g. you don't sarcastically say 'have a nice day' - you instead are suppose to apologize and sincerely tell them why the situation is what it is). Don't try to call for any information from this store either as they are just as bad over the phone as they are in person. It must be a managerial/training issue because it's not like it was the same people that helped (or I should say didn't help) me when I went in and received bad service. PLUS this is probably the only Walgreens that isn't 24hours. I'll be going a little bit further to go to a Walgreens if I have to. I would have to also mention that those other times I have been here have been okay-ish service. It's like nobody even wants to be there...hello?? Tried to pick up a FedEx package here. Some cashier, long hair, Millenial, started acting like a smug sob saying we needed to provide a bill or ID with the exact name AND address match. I said I have my ID (as it says) and my tracking number (as it says) and he threatened to send my package back. Asked for the manager and of course it turns out I needed none of those things. This place sucks I will never be re-directing my FedEx packages here ever again. read more

This location provides the absolute worst service in the pharmacy between the excruciating wait times oh, and the fact that they denied me much-needed medical supplies because my driver's license card was expired, yet I have the paperwork showing that I am getting a commercial driver's license and that it still valid. Leaving me do you have to reuse one time use medical supplies I possibly get an infection or Worse due to their inability to see that I am of age that it's still me on the ID and that I have paperwork showing that my ID is valid. I won't step back into that store if they paid me too and I don't suggest you either not if you want that service anyways read more

The store is very good Well stocked and friendly but the pharmacy department is outstanding. These people go above and beyond every time I've gone here for the last 2 years and they have always come through and been exceptional. Recently I had a change in doctors and insurance and they pulled through and got every single prescription changed. These people are Outstanding. read more
