I would like to file a serious complaint regarding an incident that occurred at your Walmart store…read moreon August 8, between approximately 8:30 PM and 8:50 PM. This was my first time ever purchasing alcohol. I am 21 years old, and I went to Walmart after leaving the gym with a friend because I wanted to purchase beer for my family. Since this was my first time buying alcohol, I was not aware that the store might check the identification of everyone accompanying the person purchasing alcohol. I genuinely believed that only my ID would need to be checked because I was the person making the purchase. My friend was under 21, and when we first entered the store, the employee checked both of us. I understand that employees may have policies regarding people accompanying someone who is purchasing alcohol, but because I had never purchased alcohol before, I did not know about this policy beforehand. I was surprised by the situation and expected the employee to simply explain what the issue was. The employee who refused to sell me the beer was a white female employee with blonde hair. She refused to complete my purchase, but she did not clearly explain why I was not allowed to purchase the alcohol or what specific policy prevented me from doing so. I felt that her attitude toward me was extremely rude and disrespectful, especially considering that I was simply trying to make a purchase for my family and had valid identification showing that I was 21 years old. I then took my friend home and returned to the Walmart by myself specifically to purchase the beer. Even though I was now completely alone, the same employee still refused to sell it to me. At that point, I was even more confused because I had returned without my underage friend and was personally presenting my valid ID. I want to make it clear that I am not complaining because the employee checked my ID or because Walmart has rules regarding alcohol sales. I understand the importance of following those rules. My concern is that, as someone purchasing alcohol for the first time, I was never clearly told what rule I had violated or why I could not complete the purchase. Instead, I felt that I was treated very poorly and was simply refused without a reasonable explanation. I am requesting that management review this incident, including the employee's conduct, the reason for refusing my purchase, and whether the employee followed Walmart's actual alcohol-sale policy correctly. I would also appreciate an explanation of why I was still refused after returning to the store alone with valid identification. This experience was especially disappointing because it was my first time purchasing alcohol, and I expected the employee to explain the situation professionally rather than treating me disrespectfully and leaving me without a clear explanation.

First and last time at Sprouts La Quinta…read more We stopped in around 8:20 PM last night 08/16/2026 because we wanted to try the Family Meals we've been seeing advertised. We went to the deli and stood there for about five minutes before realizing we needed to press the service button. An employee came out, so I asked, "Hi, is the deli still open?" He responded with an attitude, "Yes, but I work the meat department," and walked away. I understand he may not have been the person who could help me, but a simple "Let me get someone from the deli" would have been enough. Instead, the interaction left me feeling unwelcome and embarrassed. I spoke with the manager, Steve, who apologized and offered to help, but by then we decided to leave. I really want to believe this was a race thing and I want to believe it was just a bad day for the wannabe butcher or he seriously hates his job, but regardless... that was not ok. What really stood out was what happened next. We went to Ralphs on Jefferson, where the customer service was ON POINT. One of the employees even took the time to interact with my daughter who is autistic, gave her a Pokémon card, and she gave him a high five. That small interaction meant more than he probably realized. We weren't asking for special treatment. Just basic kindness and respect. Learn something, Sprouts.

With loads of TJ, the parking situation can be a bitch. That does have a major factor in visiting some of them. I've driven to a further location as the parking is better. With here, if you can't find parking on the main level, there's alway plenty down underground. The layout of the stores are alway great. It's somewhat the same as all of them so it makes it easier to maneuver and find where things are. Staff are alway so friendly and welcoming. Even coming one or two time years ago, the staff would remember their customers. This location in my opinion has the best floral selection both for cut flowers and potted plants. So much to choose from and they're alway so fresh. Plus it's kind of a one stop shopping here and the other chain store next door. Location is great and parking is easy which is a major factor. Don't forget to validate your parking ticket for free parking when you're walking out. The machine is against the wall where the manger station is.

The layout is pretty easy and classic to the ways of Traders locations. I'm usually only in town for a weekend here or there and when coming up to visit friends and or/stay this is one of my main go to places for snacks, small groceries, and wine. The service here is great and even when it's very busy I still feel like everything runs so smoothly. Awesome produce, nuts, hummus, dips, chips and veggie friendly finds. Impossible nuggets in the frozen section? Yes, please! A bottle of French rosé... It's a yah! Good prices and quality everything. Whether your local, passing through as a traveler or just visiting. This Trader Joe's will be good to you. And yes like any places they may run low or out of popular items or even discontinue things, however you'll be surprised when you discover new ones. I usually stop at the Pilot station just South of the Freeway at this exit for gas and refueling when I'm heading to or from Palm Springs, but on my last trip I decided to check out the Arco Ampm station to compare the gas prices. Boy, was I SHOCKED to discover that the gas at this Arco station was $.30/gallon cheaper than at the Pilot station. That saved me a ton of money on my fill up. There is also a car wash at this station if you want to look sharp when you arrive in Palm Springs. The accompanying Ampm market had a great supply of both food and beverage options to keep your body fueled up on the ride home, and I helped myself to some munchies and a really big iced drink before heading West. I think this is my new refueling spot for both me AND my car. As with all Arco gas stations, you should be aware that they don't accept credit cards, only cash and debit cards. There is a small fee to use your debit card at the pump. Bonus star for being this cheap even out in the middle of nowhere.
