I would give this zero stars if I could. After spending the night in the hospital I went to this walgreens which is open until 12. I stood in line for 30 minutes waiting to turn in my rx cause they had ONE person working behind the counter. After waiting in line I finally was called to the counter and told they couldn't fill it cause it was 1140pm. When I explained to the guy it was not my fault that they were understaffed and had to wait. He offered very little sympathy and just repated that he couldn't fill it. This pharmacy strives for, and succeeds at, being so grossly incompetent it's laughable. The worst part is, that they know they are awful, but just don't give a crap. They have no respect for time, no customer service skills, and they don't even get things right the first time. Seriously, beware. About 10 days ago I wrote a review complaining about Walgreens' pharmacy phone service I received from a female pharmacy employee. Today, I called Walgreens' pharmacy, reached a polite young woman who was the template for efficiency and friendly service. She was attentive, got the list of medications right the first time, looked them up promptly, advised me of what was available and explained what was not and why. Walgreens store itself, I have recieved nothing but great customer service. Now the Pharmacy is a different story. They are so unorganized and seemed so confused! Everytime I go (which I go weekly for my mother) there's someone new who doesn't know what they are doing and it's always a hassel. I just went through the drive thru and the lady running it was arguing with a customer about his wife having to come and get her meds. She just got out of THE HOSPITAL! SMH. My heart broke for him. If I could give this pharmacy no stars I would. They originally said my prescription would be ready at 11:20. I arrived at 11:30 and was told another 15 minutes. Okay, fine. Then, I waited OVER an hour and still had to ask for my prescription. The pharmacists had looked at us, waiting to ask where my prescription was, and she chose to give a dirty look and look away like we were not even standing there. Checking out once I finally got my prescription was just the icing on the cake. The girl was rude, zero eye contact and did not even thank me for waiting so long or for using their pharmacy. I went to Walgreens at 91st and Union Hills in Peoria, AZ on Friday, 12/11 to inquire about the process and cost. I was told to come back on Sunday, as it wouldn't be busy. We came back on Sunday and the lady was late. So, we waited until the lady showed up. She was complaining about not being scheduled at this store and not normally working on a Sunday. Just what I want: a pissed off person who is going to draw blood from me! This is after checking in with the Walgreens staff, who was not able to answer any of my questions on how I obtain my results, etc. After having our blood drawn, I asked the lady how I get my results and she just said "check on the bottom of your receipt for the login information". When I went to login, it had the wrong phone number listed on my profile. It happens to be the Walgreens store phone number. Also, I remember the Walgreens employee who entered my information saying she did something wrong, so she had to re-do my name. Now, the next day, I am trying to get my results and there are problems. So, I called Walgreens and after 5 minutes on hold, I got Joe at 6:07 pm on 12/14/15. I asked to speak to a pharmacy manager and he simply put me back into their queue. Then, at 6:12pm, I got Levi who said he wasn't the manager but when I explained the problem I was having, he said he would double check my information, after telling me "they" were not connected with Theranos. I challenged him by saying "they" took my money and entered my information and advertise it as a service in their stores. Finally, he said he would check my information but then the call was lost. And, he never returned my call. So, I finally called Theranos. I've spent over an hour with Theranos staff. Apparently, Walgreens did not enter the correct phone number for me so my results are not "linked up". They also misspelled my name so I had to go through extra security measures to verify who I am. Then, I was informed by Theranos they cannot give me my son's results (who is on my insurance, was with me and whose results I paid for) because he is over 21. Apparently, he needs to set up his own account to get his results. After 20 minutes of Walgreens telling me they are not connected (although they entered everything into their system and f***ed up my information) and 45 minutes of having the Theranos rep 3 way call my son to get his permission to allow me set up the account and get his results, we learned that one of his tests will not be done for another 4-5 days, which is not their normal process. Normally, it is a 24 hour turnaround but she could not give me an explanation. We were only able to set up my account online to retrieve my results but I will have to go through this mess in another 4-5 days. I will say that Suzanna at Theranos customer support was very patient and did her best to resolve everything. I hope she finds a better company to work for than this! As for Joe and Levi, I will let karma work that one out. The cost is cheap, but gosh, I don't know that this really is worth it. The time, inconvenience, lack of knowledge by the staff, and their system issues makes me question whether or not these results are even accurate. And the relationship with Walgreens seems to be "hands off", although I am now disillusioned with Walgreens because of the mess they caused. They certainly don't care about their customers, unless the money is going into their company I guess. In closing, I wonder how long it will be before state medical boards, attorney general offices, and news media will start receiving complaints on both companies. read more

This pharmacy deserves 0 stars! When I first came in to drop off a 2 prescriptions and I stood there for 5 min or more while the employees just stared as a line started behind me then someone finally acknowledged me and said they would be over shortly. Then when I came back I drove up to the window and they made me park and come in for no reason, after that when I got my prescription and left I looked in the bag and there was only one out of the two that I was suppose to get. Their waiting times are outrageous! And when I went back the lady was so rude and didnt even apologize for forgetting the script and didn't say thank you or anything! I have been going to this WALGREENS since it opened around the corner from my previous house. Now that it is 24 hours the store has definitely fit into my schedule working & going to school. Even though I no longer live in the neighborhood I do not want to switch to another WALGREENS because everyone is familiar with me & my medical history. The staff at the pharmacy are very knowledgeable & always willing to help to answer any question you might have. Thus is why I do not want to change to another WALGREENS. read more

This review does not include the pharmacy. The regular staff are consistently friendly and helpful compared to other Walgreens I've been to in Peoria and Glendale. I shop here at least once a week because the prices on certain items are often lower than at grocery stores. A good selection of cosmetic and beauty items too. read more

I just moved here from Vegas and since I used Walgreens in Vegas for many years, I figured AZ would be the same. Not so much, if I could give this location and -5 that's what they deserve. My first set of medications a week ago from the ER went through seamlessly, so I brought my other scripts in after seeing my doctor... I dropped them off and went on my way. A few hours for later I received notification from my Walgreen's app. The notification stated that my insurance on file has expired. I was a bit confused since I had just updated my insurance information 6 days ago. When I called in to the pharmacy to give them the correct information I first spoke to the call center which forwarded me to the actual pharmacy. My first call, I sat on hold for 15 minutes before my call was answered and immediately disconnected. My second call was answered and I spoke to a pharmacy tech, whose name I wish I could remember, that was insanely rude and after figuring out the problem, she literally hung up on me mid-conversation. After I was hung up on I attempted to call back to speak to a supervisor a total of 5 times. Each time I called my call was answered and immediately disconnected. Oh my sixth attempt, I was forwarded to customer care where I filed a formal complaint with corporate. I have never experience such poor customer service from Walgreens ever and I am beyond disappointed. I will also be talking to be pharmacist when I pick up my medication tomorrow and letting them know I will be taking my business elsewhere. I will also be acquiring the name of the pharmacy tech I spoke to and posting it here so everyone else can know who they should avoid. read more

VEARY DANGEROUS. they block u access to a pharmacist. walgreens is saving pennies now but losing customers to better pharmacists with real customer service. If I could give zero... I would. This pharmacy is the worst. They are rude, extremely disorganized, and don't ever expect your prescription to be ready when they tell you it will be... EVER!!!!! Expect multiple trips to get any one prescription filled... EVEN if you have received confirmation it is ready! This last mess up, they only filled a partial prescription and then couldn't even verify the amount they gave us when it was time to fill the remainder of the prescription. This Walgreens is horrible if you need to have a prescription filled or see a PA. They are rude and slow every single time. As I sit here typing this I'm waiting for my child to be seen. They open at 9:30 in a Saturday. The PA just walked in 10 minutes late and really couldn't care less that we are waiting. This has happened many times. We only go here when we have no other choice. Hopefully if they get enough poor reviews they'll shape up! I have edited my review down to one star. Why? Same as always terrible, TERRIBLE customer service. If you just need to pick up a few things, you're good. However if you need the pharmacy or the clinic-Beware! I had a nurse call in a Rx for me with urgency and they forgot to check the messages so they never filled it and didn't even know about till they realized it was on the machine from almost an hr before!!!! This location is terrible. The pharmacists are rude and whatever time they give you to pick up your prescription, double that... IF they even have your medicine in stock, that is. When you politely call and ask whether your medicine is ready after waiting 3 hours past the time you were quoted to pick up, you receive snippy, unapologetic responses. Probably wouldn't be writing this review if this was the first time, but sadly this is the norm and has happened on multiple occasions. We will be switching pharmacies to one that appreciates our business and has their act together. read more

So...I DON'T normally use Big pharmacies like Walgreens. I have used a small privately owned pharmacy for years (Desert Skye Pharmacy...67th ave & Thunderbird) and after using this place only because it was do to an emergency I will NEVER use them again!! My 12 year old daughter has a severe toothache and her dentist called in a perscription at 7:18, and it is now 9:51 and here I STILL stand waiting. And to top it all off I get an angry response from the dentist because they are only now calling on it!!! But apparently they aren't too concerned with that since she walked away!!! My normal pharmacy would have had it filled in less than 5 minutes!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! read more

amazing and enthusiastic employees, even on christmas eve! i needed to print pictures for a gift and one employee saw me waiting after i finished placing my prints,he checked if my photos were ready earlier than what my paper printed, they weren't and at that moment the machine messed up but he communicated that with me so instead of the original 30 minutes it was suppose to take, he told me upfront the machine would prob be delayed and to possibly come back a bit later than that to be on the safe side. Thank God he even asked me and was attentive! i came back and they were ready of course :) im just happy they dont neglect their customers! also the lady who was greeting was also very nice and helpful to everyone who came in. thank you! i know its hard to work on special holidays. read more

horrible horrible horrible. be prepared to wait for a MINIMUM of 20 mins for prescriptions that are already "READY". I have been going to this walgreens for a long time only because of how close it is to my house, however i will be changing pharmacies TODAY. Literally every time i go there i wait for at least 20 mins, it doesn't matter if i go through the drive thru or go inside... it's the same wait no matter what. i waited in line today behind approx 4 people and waited probably about 10mins.. not bad, however once i go up to the counter and they started "helping" me, i stood there waiting for them to bring my prescription from the back for another 10-15mins. i ended up being late to get back to work, since i did this on my lunch break (hoping that maybe if i went earlier in the day that it wouldn't take so long.) I don't normally write reviews, but i had to because this is very frustrating, especially since i have to go there every month and every month it is the same hassle. Oh and on top of it, i tried to use the express pick up computers, and they had those turned off.. as usual. if you are expecting a quick in and out trip to this walgreens... DON'T! read more

My family and i have been a Walgreens customer for a couple years now and never had problems in picking up medications in the past. Today I needed to get my prescription filled and I went to the closest Walgreens which was on 91st and Union Hills in Peoria, AZ (store-#3048) to get the same medications that I've filled at this location multiple times before with no problem. But I was very dissatisfied with the service and the pharmacy manager Kamal that has filled my prescription before. The pharmacy manager decided today that they no longer want to fill my prescription by my doctor. I find it very unnecessary and unprofessional when I asked the reasoning behind this and was let with nothing but sarcasm and attitude. I am very very..appalled that there was no reasonable answer but to tell me to go to a competitors pharmacy as if my business wasn't welcomed at Walgreens anymore. To be specific he recommended me that CVS would the ones to fill them and i been a long time customer here Who was more than happy to accept my business and will be from now on. read more
