    OMG... Here's my experience dealing with pharmacy's, Dr's, Insurance. Went to doctor and find my cholesterol is dangerously high so he gives my a prescription for Colestra...simple enough huh? Day 1 - Give my prescription to Walgreens. Later that afternoon they leave an automated message telling me it had been denied by my insurance. Nothing else...thats it. Day 2 - I go by Walgreens to check on it and they tell me the insurance needs more info from my Dr. They fax over the data sheet to my doc for them to fill out and send back to the insurance carrier. Then Walgreens supposed to resubmit. Ok..whatever. Day 3 - I call Walgreens and they say its still denied. Frustration factor up to 7.6 now. I call my doctor and the nurse tells me they had already sent data requested to the insurance the day before and it all should be ok now. So i go into Walgreens and the pharmacist tells me i have to wait 2-3 days for it all to sort out. Are you kidding me...its just a "F" ing prescription. I walk out steaming...frustration factor 8.4! Day 4 - I waked up P O'ed and decide this is all BS. I go to Walgreens and ask about my prescription. She plays with her keyboard and tells me its still denied. I ask her "What exactly is the reason why". She says they are waiting for the doctors info. I tell her they sent that to them 2 days ago. She pulls the old "you'll just have to wait" routine again. So i tell her "Look, what do I have to do as a patient and user of this American health care system to get you(the pharmacy), the doctor and the insurer to simply communicate and get this taken care of. She tells me i can call my doc. I did that already i tell her. So i say "Look, i need you to pick up the phone and call somebody and speak to a human and fix this. I've waited 4 days and i ain't waiting anymore. Its just a stupid prescription" By now other people waiting were listening to all this and i got some vocal support. She sees this and calls up my doc and insurer. Guess what...after 5 min of actually communicating with people it got fixed. I got my meds 1 hour later. I'm left to wonder what happens to people who are too afraid to advocate for themselves. All The Pharmacy had to do was get off their butt and do their job.

    Brought my sick baby out for some Tylenol, the whole aisle of medicine for baby is wiped out. ????

    Always have had good customer service, they send you a text when you medicine is ready, and they carry more items than a corner store.

The products selection is average and so are the prices (I've gotten some better discounts elsewhere, depending on the product line). However, I will not be shopping there again. A couple days ago, I was checking out when I overheard a person ask for a job application. Another worker asked the cashier (assisting me) where the applications were and her response was "we don't hire men." After the awkward silence of did-she-really-just-say-that hung in the air too long, she tried to clean it up and say "I'm not the owner but that's what they say". Too late. The damage is done. Your bias exposed. How do you sell men's products but don't have men to help with the products. That is bad business and discriminatory. I'll spend my gas and dollars elsewhere from now on.
