This pharmacy constantly disappoints me. They are always seem understaffed. It takes forever and they're very short with you. I have had a couple bad encounters. During flu season I went to get my flu shot and the pharmacist, Peter, did not change his gloves between the person before me and my shot. When I asked him if he changed his gloves (as he was cleaning blood of my arm) he stated "no because the person before you didn't bleed." I was disgusted but didn't catch it before hand to ask him to change gloves. Second, their signage claims they want to help you save money but they don't want to go out of their way. They were going to charge me $200 for my prescription, I had to ask if they used my insurance (I'm a returning client). They said no, then they ran my insurance and it was in my maiden name so they said they couldn't use it. I had to ask them to run my info with my married name. Why should I be the one telling them to try that? Sure enough, my prescription came down to $20!!!! This place frustrates me. read more

Not sure who is in charge of the pharmacy here... but nearly every time I get my medicine it's a different price... Makes no sense. One time I questioned it and they acted clueless and said it's always the same price (It's not). It's cheap enough and not worth investing a bunch of time into, but I have paid as little as $7 up to $14 every 90 days and everywhere in between. May just switch to an online pharmacy. read more

My Tresiba insulin injector failed on Thanksgiving morning, I am visiting my daughter in Austin Texas with no " back-up". Pharmacy #0357 located at 1701 E. Palmer Ln. in Austin was outstanding, Pharmacist Ho was extremely busy, but assisted me as if I were the only customer he had that day. CVS does not have a contract with my Rx Insurance provider and explained that the out of pocket expense was going to be to be high. He first attempted to call 3 competitors who he knew accepted my insurance but although the drugstores were advertised as open, the Pharmacy was not. So his initial pricing was going to be around $600, he checked various discount cards and coupons, and was able to get me my prescription for under $35. This was something I was most thankful for!! read more

Sat in the drive thru line for 30 minutes before finally making it to the window, for the lady to tell me to go around to get in the so called "drop-off" Lane to pick up my prescription, even thou there was 5 cars still waiting behind me. There is no indication that the "full-service" line is now COVID-19 Testing only. Absolutely worst Cvs in town. read more

For sure this neighborhood CVS is a strong 3.5-3.75 stars ..not quite 4 stars but almost. It's always very clean & is also open 24 hours. This CVS is for sure my go-to spot whenever I'm craving my favorite cookies-n-cream ice cream :)! This CVS location is also my hot spot to get my Redbox movies at since it has 2 Redbox kiosks to browse through. CVS also now carries very, very, cute jewelry from I AM jewelry line & my favorite drugstore makeup line Milani, along with the usual CVS inventory. Helpful Tip: -sign up for the CVS reward card to get additional discounts. This is THE MOST disorganized CVS I have ever visited. I don't know what their problem is, but it seems like there is a problem almost every time I come here. Once they sold me the wrong quantity of prescription medication, and I had to return three days later, get a refund (because my insurance company wouldn't cover an additional prescription so soon), and then get the amount that I should have gotten the first time. Right now I'm sitting in a chair, sick, because they somehow didn't get the script my doc called in last night. Of two, they received one. How is that possible? The ONLY reason I use this location is because it's a mile from my house. read more

I have bypassed writing a review on several occasions hoping the service would get better. Unfortunately it has not. Today I received a prescription with no label on the bottle. Besides the pharmacy staff being rude they never thank you for your business. In the drive thru they send your package and that's it no customer service. Once I was there and before I could receive the package they had closed the blinds by the time I drove to the front of the store the pharmacy staff were getting in there automobiles. I frequently have to discuss the inconsistency of pricing. When you would think having insurance would dictate the price; not always the case at this pharmacy. Customer service is below level at this location. The location is convenient the customer service is subpar. read more

Expect to spend about 30-40 mins of your time trying to pick up your prescription. Only one side of the drive thru pharmacy service is working and you wouldn't know until you pull up right next to it and by the time you realize it you're forced to circle around and wait in line--again. The other time I came into this pharmacy I waited in line instore just to be told that their system was down. This is something that you should make aware to your customers so that they're not waisting their time in line. This place is so disorganized, their just needs to be better management and someone who actually cares about customer experience. At this point it's more convenient to drive a few more miles to a better Cvs than to waste time and money at this location. read more

The manager lady (blonde, prune face) has the customer service abilities of a flea. The cashier lady was nice and helpful and when I made mention of the managers lack of "hi, hello, what can I help you with today 101" was that she is "new" Umm Even more so to utilize your basic customer service skills. read more

Super poor service. I went to fill my dad's prescription and they didn't double check with me on which one was supposed to be filled so they filled a prescription that we have asked them to cancel three times. When I called, the pharmacy tech argued with me over the phone and blamed me for the error. When I got in she proceeded to talk about me in front of my face as another associate helped me out. Seriously, what do you care if the same prescription is filled multiple times in a week if a doctor has prescribed it? My dad is constipated and they are his bowels, not yours, that are uncomfortable.. if something is stuck where your sun don't shine, you are more than welcome to buy your own Senna. He has to stay with this CVS because of its proximity which means I'll have to keep visiting for his sake but I'll be changing my pharmacy to the Walgreens down the road. read more

Overall staff is ok. I have had a few mornings where they are late but the majority of the staff is professional and helps out. Pretty efficient in person but over the phone they can be rather curt. read more

Day 12 since I took a test for Covid -19. Still no results. A little slow to try to contain a virus

Wishing I could give ZERO stars for the worst experience ever at this pharmacy. I am in tears as I type this. Today I decided to go through the drive-thru to order my husbands urgent medication. When I first arrived, the lady was very rude and rushing me. She also kept mentioning that the medication was expensive and if I was sure I would pay for it. I said yes and sent in my credit card. Soon after, I get two notifications from my bank that I was charged $154.33 and then $46.00 .. even though the medication was only $154.33. The woman then says that my payment was "declined" and that I still owed the full balance. Even though my bank statement said otherwise. After explaining multiple times to the manager and employee, they could not resolve it so I was left to call my bank and pay for the medication TWICE because I needed it urgently. The manager did NOT apaologize, only explained to me how MY card was messed up. The card was NOT messed up though because when I went inside to pay, it worked just fine. I am so upset that they did not help me resolve this, and I paid double the price for a medicine. I'm lucky I even had the money to spare otherwise I would be left with nothing! read more

I have gone for shopping and even began filling my prescriptions here at times, yet I do notice when they are calling customers to the desk. Sometimes they are not as professional as you would like...an example, if someone comes to the desk they do not want to hear their medications being awkwardly blurted out so that the nearby customer can hear (within my earshot..hmm). Sometimes some individuals don't mind that they are told something over the counter is not covered--makes sense, but do not blurt out (even in a "small voice") any other medication that the individual may not want the whole pharmacy to hear. Some medications may be a temporary thing or something completely unavoidable, but not to share with anyone/everyone that can be in earshot. I actually was able to hear a customer's private medication and even though they seemed nonchalant; later i saw them outside the store quite upset and looked severly embarrassed about the pharmacy tech's insensitivity. If I had known them better, i definitely would have tried to console them on that lack of courtesy. I know some business make it a practice to try to be as courteous and professional as possible both on the phone or in person, yet would be nice that some pharmacy workers be educated in common mutual respect and treat customers as if they were on the other side of the counter refilling their own prescriptions. read more

Update - I faxed my Yelp review to the CVS store. Todd, the Store Manager, called the next day, apologized and offered to rectify the situation. He refunded my money for the defective charger and gave me a CVS gift card for my troubles. 5 stars for Todd but I still can't rate the store that high to to the piss poor treatment I received from Tom Nguyen. read more

The pharmacy takes forever to wait on you/answer the phone/drive through is slow. They are massively understaffed almost all the time, every time I have an issue with insurance they take forever to communicate. The staff are always nice and friendly however, they just need more people. The actual store is nice, always stocked and good deals, polite staff and you rarely wait very long in line. read more

Picked up a 90 day supply of my medications. They were pre sealed from the manufacturer. They were filled 5-16-16. Bottles are clearly stamped by manufacturer that the medication expires on 05/2016. Not good quality control. Have had to contact district office regarding other issues with the pharmacy techs in the past. Thinking its time to change to another pharmacy read more
