They have no problem pushing expensive name brand drugs from companies they are affiliated with, but when asked to switch to a covered generic they acted like I was speaking a foreign language. At the Manor, TX location, there are condescending employees who use racially charged language in reference to customers. On the phone, the person acted like I was the one inconveniencing them for simply asking about a medication I need. No apology was received for not having the medicine I needed, they simply wanted me off the phone, and said "that's okay", as if I was the one wasting their time. I thought using a smaller pharmacy would be better than Walgreens, and I was wrong. read more

Their customer service skills begin and end with credit card transactions and they can't even master that. I've had delivery prescriptions not filled because they don't have my CC on file even though I've updated it three times. Just forget about them calling to verify anything. I was given 1/2 of a refill recently and when I called for the remainder, they had no idea what I was talking about. How is that possible? Incompetent. After seeing my Dr I popped in to have a prescription filled and was told it would be ready in under fifteen minutes-- I waited 35min, checked in and presto, it's ready. I worked in healthcare for several years, I know "busy" when I see it-- they're not THAT busy. I'm the only customer, sitting and waiting for 35+ minutes and nobody can say "hey it's taking longer than expected..." seriously? Lazy. They honestly don't care, I've never had a positive experience using Manor Pharmacy and it's a real shame to not feel welcome or cared for at your local neighborhood pharmacy. read more

Doctor called in prescription at noon Monday, keep getting run around. I was told on Tuesday that it would be ready by end of the day, didn't have time to pick that afternoon. I went at lunch on Wednesday and was told it would be another 50 min. I still haven't gotten a call to let me know if it's ready been two hours. Worst pharmacy ever, I will never go back. I had doctor call into another pharmacy and it was ready by the time I got there. Save yourself some trouble and go somewhere else. read more

I can't say enough good things about Manor Pharmacy. I recently got a new job and don't have insurance at this time. I had 3 meds at Wal-Mart that were costing $116. I went to Manor Pharmacy to see what their prices were like....$38 for all three meds!! That is huge! Walmart has been ripping me off for three months! My wife and daughter have been using Manor Pharmacy since they opened and have been very happy. They have helped my wife a couple times when she was out of refills of her seizure medication. Manor pharmacy is the best independent / compounding / retail / specialty pharmacy that I have ever worked with. Keep in mind that my review is speaking on behalf of at least 20 other patients who they have helped me with and I only recently found them. I help my patients find pharmacies to fill their medications and the service Manor delivers compared to other corner pharmacies is exuberant, quick and painless. My patients have had very positive feedback with them too. I turned to Manor when I ran into medications that were difficult to find, were incredibly expensive, or my patients preferred mail order so they did not have to wait in an annoying drive through line. If they can bend over backwards for that, then the rest is just a given. The CEO cares very much about getting the right med to the right patient as soon as feasible. I am speaking as someone who understands how the pharmacy world operates as well as PBMS and insurance companies. I understand the difficult balance between patient care, our broken American healthcare system, and running a business that incorporates both. Every time I try to call during business hours they hang up or put me on hold for unreasonable amounts of time. I am currently on hold, I called in at 10am on Tuesday and someone answered and put me on hold and it has been TWENTY MINUTES. Still on hold. read more

I appreciate Manor Pharmacy, as I have been the recipient of consistent excellent customer service. They are always helpful; text me when my prescriptions are ready; and they offer delivery. Prior to the pandemic, I was delayed at my job in downtown Austin, and didn't think I would be able to arrive at the pharmacy before they closed. I called them, and they offered to stay open past the closing time, but fortunately, it wasn't necessary. I love this compound pharmacy. read more

Doctor cold in a compound prescription for the Pharmacy. They said there was no problem, they said that they would mail it to me. Called back 2 weeks later when had not received it. After a long wait on hold a boy smacking on gum at the time told me that my insurance did not cover it. It would have been nice, humane, if they had called and let me know that I needed to contact my doctor for an alternative. I got no such call, and being that my 91 year-old mother is in great pain because of this, I am appalled and heartbroken for her. They had my number they could have called and let me know the situation. But I guess that just goes to show they're not really a pharmacy that cares that much. Only about dollars. These guys are the best! After years of bad experiences with our Walmart Pharmacy I made the switch to Manor Pharmacy. Not only is the customer service amazing but they are fast. First and foremost I don't usually write reviews but the experience I had at Manor warrants a response. Owner and pharmacist Vishal Patel takes time to actually ask questions and gets to know the patients that enter his pharmacy. He was able to answer all my questions about the medication I was prescribed. Being always on the run they actually deliver medication to your door step for FREE which was a huge shock to me. I thought I had written a review for this pharmacy, but I guess I had not. I must say this is the best pharmacy I have ever used. I had been using them for the past couple of months & I was very pleased. I walked in the first time & they filled it it minutes because I was waiting. Pharmacist is the best. I realized yesterday that 1 of my 2 prescriptions only had 3 days left, but said no refills & the other had 5 days. I was going to call my Dr. this morning to see if she wanted me to continue. The pharmacy actually called me this morning to advise I was low on the one that had no refills & they had called Dr. to see if she wanted to continue that medication & they were refilling the second script. They would call back to let me know if she wanted to continue the first one. Really???? Holy cow, now that is service and they deliver or they have a drive through. I compared prices on the medications and they are actually cheaper than Walmart, HEB & CVS. I will never ever use another pharmacy. No more cattle car lines for me. read more
