I don't think I have ever been to a place filled with so many people who obviously don't want to work where they are. Pharmacy is very busy here, once you get in drive thru that means you are stuck forever. Once you are in drive thru lane you can't leave. One star is too many. My prescription was delayed almost a week and they were supposedly working on it. I finally called my doctor and she was surprised I was having trouble and called in a new scrip. She sent it to the wrong Walgreens which wasn't this store's fault obviously. What was their fault was canceling the prescription at the Walgreens I drove to after telling me it was over there so they could fill it here *after I left*. [For Village Medical] - I had an appointment scheduled for today. I drove across town, fighting through traffic to get there 15-minutes before the appointment start time, only to find out that the doctor (Dr. Dale) decided not to come into work today per the receptionist. The receptionist stated that she called everyone scheduled to see Dr. Dale earlier today. I told her that I didn't receive phone calls from this facility. She then reiterated with a snappy tone that she did call me. I logged into my mobile service provider and didn't see any inbound phone calls today. Oddly enough, Village Medical sent me a text and an automated phone call over the weekend to confirm my appointment for today. This is my second negative interaction with this place. For that, I will be moving forward in reporting my first interaction (a few months ago) during my conversation with the doctor. You can thank your receptionist behavior for this review. read more

I ordered photos online to pick up at this Walgreens. I paid for all 234 photos when I picked them up. When I got home, I found that there were only 140. After spending a couple of hours figuring out which ones they missed, I went back the next day to have them print the missing 94. They printed some of them, but missed the ones for which I had ordered duplicates. Altogether, it took a total of 4 attempts and a 1.5 hour wait to finally get all 234 photos I paid for. One would think that they would have offered some level of refund or discount given that I performed their job of quality assurance and waited very patiently for them to finally get it right. But no. This is the second time in a row this Walgreens has fouled up my online photo order. I will not order photos from Walgreens ever again. read more

Well, there must be a reason they have so many terrible reviews. I'll never use them again. Having a crazy reaction to poison ivy. Go to urgent care, and they send in a prescription to give me some relief. I haul butt from Manor to my "normal" pharmacy. Arrive at 5:52. Only to be lied to and told the prescription "had not come through yet". I call Urgent Care. They confirm they sent it, but say "we can give them an oral over the phone, to get you some relief." I tell the girl at the window that I have them on the phone. She says "oh, we are closed. They will have to call it in to the Walgreens across town". Here's the problem, she's telling me this and it's 5:55pm. What a weird time to close!! Pharmacist standing right there. They've had my insurance on file for a decade, have made who knows how much money off of my family and I, and they refused to help. Help meaning walking 12 steps and grabbing the steroid cream needed. Talk about customer service! What a joke. They can't walk 12 steps, but to be jerks, let's make the customer drive an extra 30 minutes while in need of immediate relief. You guys just lost a long time customer. Not that you care, because if you did, you wouldn't have been so terrible to begin with. read more

If you have prescriptions to fill - DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY!!!! I have been trying to deal with the issues of this pharmacy for the past 5 months now, i get my prescriptions auto filled and go to pick them up and every month there is an issue, its either the they couldn't fax the doctor or they forgot to fax the the doctor or the auto text sent me a message too soon and they didnt have time to fill it or they just didnt want to fill it all together. Every GD Month!!!! I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but i keep getting interrupted by ignorance and stupidity of the pharma staff, I just don't get it. My meds are not that's difficult but the worst of all is no one will pick up the phone and call you and let you know what is going on, they just let you drive down there expecting to get your free meds and leave, and then BOOM, there is an issue... (again) With a Walmart across the street and many other pharmacies not far away, you would think they would try a little harder to keep you satisfied but they don't. I decided im not just going to post my. Review on y'all but im going to their website, their Facebook page, their twitter feed and anyone else who will see this post and maybe they will have something done, like fire the entire staff and start over... From the very start, just walking up to the counter you feel like you are bothering them, there is no concern to want to help you no sense of caring or wanting to help you at all. This store pharmacy has many issues. The professionalism of the staff is non existent. Most of the staff can't give you correct info regarding your Rx. They will not follow up eith you if there is an issue. They really seam to be very incompetent and not enough training regarding their job responsibilities. With the exception of the one male pharmacist(don't know his name) the entire pharmacy staff is horrible with mo clue of what customer service is. read more

I've used this Walgreens pharmacy for 14 years now. I have to frequent it a bit more often since my mom is getting older. Sal is so amazing and caring! Delivers with an authentic smile and is very clear with needed information. I've also had pleasant experiences with Jina. She's efficient and thorough. All of the pharmacy techs are spot on as well. (Now that the tall, scary, angry lady with the blonde hair is gone - you know who she is ). These guys are consistent. Even during this stressful time, they do their best to move quickly and provide personal service! I could have mom's meds delivered, but I prefer to deal with this amazing group of peeps! I have been with this Walgreens pharmacy for over 10 years but lately I have to say they have incompetent staff that provide horrible customer service.! My doctor had sent in more than 1 prescription for the same meds and they still could not fill it properly because I have 2 insurances. They made me go back 3 times and each time they gave me some excuses and gave me only 15 days supply. This is not even a narcotic scheduled drug...! What is the problem? Now I called today they tell me to go back to my doctor to get another script! I looked in my on line chart and it clearly says I have 3 refills until September 2023. Why would I call my doctor to ask for another script? Jeez! They are incompetent and lazy! They should have offered to contact my doctor themselves and straighten this out but no.. they want me to ask my doc for another RX!! When I ask to speak to the pharmacist, the pharmacist wouldn't even come to the phone!! So unprofessional! WARNING!!! Go elsewhere for your pharmacy needs!!! I am a long time LOYAL Walgreen's customer (25 years) and hands down this is the worst location ever!!! The pharmacist is about the only good thing at this location. She has stepped in on numerous occasions when the other staff was unable to assist me. On 2/14, I literally had to wait 1 hour for a Tamiflu blister pack. Doctor's office told me to give them 30 minutes. Since I know the inadequacy of this particular location, I gave them 45 minutes. When I arrived they were in no hurry to fill it and acted like they hadn't even seen it. The tech told me it would be best if I came back later, but as a single mom, operating a car with 102 fever this was really NOT an option. They were busy but it seemed like the future pick-ups had more priority than ALL of the waiting customers (but mind you I have had problems using that service too). I watched them fill and file 10-12 baskets of medications before getting to mine. I understand that I am not the only sick person, but slapping a label on a pre-packaged box really should not have taken one hour and 45 minutes!!! Ridiculous!! I think the management needs to look at the wait times compared to other locations. I guess the more people I gave the flu the more business they get so there was no urgency to get me out of there!! Thank goodness my doctor's office gave me a facemask to wear!!! read more

Heaven forbid you ask them to find you another facility who has your meds, they act like it takes a darn act of Congress. If you're in the drive thru you come second to customers inside. I have been going to this Walgreens for some time and have had good experiences each time except for most recent time. I went to pick up my prescription for insulin but I was told they were out of it and could only give a partial fill but I had to pay the full copay. I thought it was strange but paid. They told when the rest came in I could pick it up. I waited to long to go and pick up the item that I had already paid for so they put it away. They told me they would pull it again and then override the copay so I went in on Sunday to pick it up and guess what. I had to pay the copay again. The pharmacist said there was nothing that he could do other than give me reward points. I don't want reward points and I don't want to have to pay 2 copays for one prescription. It wasn't my fault they were out of stock. I was inconvenienced by having to make 3 trips to a store I don't even live by anymore and I got double charged. Doesn't seem right to me. read more

I want to tell the inconsiderate pharmacy tech who talked to my elderly mother on the phone this afternoon, "thanks for nothing!!". My mother called requesting to have her medication prescriptions transferred only to be told, "we are only transferring prescriptions that are due to be filled because we are so busy with TRICARE patients". Well I am so sorry my mother is not a TRICARE patient, but I AM!!! And I will be sure EVERY ACTIVE DUTY and RETIREE TRICARE PATIENT I KNOW IS AWARE HOW YOUR LOCATION TREATS NON-TRICARE PATIENTS!!! Worst Walgreens I've ever been to. I have lived in the states of Michigan, Washington, Alaska, and Texas--never have I encountered such crummy customer service than at this pharmacy. I no longer even live in Pflugerville and yet this location continues to haunt me. I've moved six hours away, and for three months now I have had to call this location to get them to stop doing my auto refill. I continue to get the medication filled at my new home Walgreens, but for some reason in the system it keeps also filling at the old Walgreens. I've never had this happen and have moved often and much--usually switching to a new Walgreens takes one single phone call and I'm good to go. I've reached out to my new Walgreens and my old Walgreens in Pflugerville four times now to get this issue fixed. Today was the worst experience by far. I called and spoke with a woman with an Indian accent and she was unbelievably rude. I tried to explain my situation, and she just kept talking over me about what I needed to do. All of her suggestions were things I had already done in an attempt to resolve the problem (making calls, reaching out to my PCP, moving everything to the new location). Then as I attempted to tell her that it couldn't be my doctor reordering meds as I had a new doctor, she hung up on me. It possible this was in error or she thought the conversation was over, though I don't know how as I wasn't given a chance to respond and the phone clicked even before I had a breath to speak. Unfortunately this isn't my first negative experience with this location. On more than one occasion I've come back 24hrs after drop off to pick up a Rx only to be told to come back later, along with some reason they were behind. Which is fine, I get that there are times when someone calls in sick and the people at work are required to roll with the punches. The worst is the drive-thru line to get a Rx. I can recall at least two times when I had to wait over a half hour to get a prescription. I don't know if they're lazy, understaffed or what--but without question they're poorly managed. I'm taking my pill bottles to CVS just to avoid dealing with them anymore. read more

I have not been to this specific pharmacy but still felt an obligation to write a review based on the comments and my extensive knowledge of using Walgreens pharmacies for a long time. A lot of the comments about the complaints on wait times. Most of the wait times mentioned are just average wait times for an average visite to a Walgreens. I see a lot of times between 15 to 20 minutes. That's normal. Also when a doctor says your prescription should be ready in a short time. There's a process that takes place between the doctor sending info to the pharmacy and the Walgreens processing the order including sometimes the prescription order from the doctor not having complete or unclear information and having to be sent back to the doctor for clarification taking more time. A lot of people who pick up prescriptions have no idea how complicated the whole procedure can between getting the correct info from doctors, how busy the stores can get the complications dealing with insurance companies to approve medications. I'm in Walgreens all the time waiting to pick up a prescription and I her these conversations all the time regarding people's doctors and the insurance companies. There's also verification processes for controlled substances which adds to the wait time. I've been going to Walgreens for a long time. Sometimes my prescription is ready I'm the only car in line and it goes quickly. Sometimes there's a few cars ahead of me. Sometimes I can hear the conversations trying to clear up details or explain details about the medications being taken. So me waiting for approximately 20 minutes is normal. Walgreens isn't handing out cheeseburgers and French fries. There handing out prescriptions which they have an extensive protocol sometimes because the federal government requires it. Like checking ID's. I can't account for everything that happens but I will say a lot of what I've read is just normal for wait times on prescriptions. It's not cheeseburgers and French fries folks there's a lot of protocols with medications which yes takes time. Every once in a while there's a less then pleasant experience but that's every business I've ever dealt with in my life. There is no perfect. Also on the wait times remember when your in the drive through or inside you don't see the actual number of people in line some are inside and some are in the drive through. So there can more people in line then you see. The fact that I see so many compliments about wait times between 5 to 20 minutes is ridiculous expectations. Once again there not just handing out cheeseburgers and French fries and even for that 5 to 20 is not unusual. read more

The pharmacy staff is very unfriendly and rude to customers. The pharmacist tech who works at the drive thru window is very impatient with questions and the most unfriendly. It's as if management asked him to be rude to customers on purpose. I will be filling my prescriptions elsewhere from now on. Management should get the microphone situation fixed at the drive thru so he can hear customers without them having to shout or be corrected over and over to speak louder.
