I was very surprised to see this HEB with such a low rating. Sure it's not an HEB Plus so in comparison you may not have quite as many options. But, if you don't have random cult favorites that you "must have" this HEB is a solid choice. It's got all the staples and can be less overwhelming that the Plus locations. Pluses and minuses for me at this location. Those don't pertain to the location because I am fortunate enough to live in the range of three different HEBs Pluses: Great, large selection of bulk and natural items Large selection of organic produce Lots of variety of takeaway things like salads, deli items Good selection of pretty much anything else you would want At the time of this writing, Pflugerville doesn't have a plastic bag ban so I can load up on plastic bags! Minuses: Overstimulation city Always crowded (which factors in to the stimulation element) The layout is awkward Ultimately the pluses outnumber the minuses. But I have to be in the mood to face all this, which feels inconvenient for an HEB so close to my house. read more

I went today to this HEB for the first time and the white lady with long hair seemed to be bother with my questions. Mind you last thing I want is to be getting medicated on the last day of the year due to my kidneys and deal with this ungrateful woman. Very nice people and they had every cash register open to make checkout very easy. They even gave everyone flowers as they were leaving.

Why? Oh why Do I keep coming back here? They have gotten my prescription wrong, failed to mix an antibiotic for my toddler, so it was in powder form, and come up with excuse after excuse about why my prescription is not ready. The computer doesn't show product on screen, for a headache medicine, really? They are not helpful and lack huge on customer service, being rude and short and making no apologies for their shortcomings. I blame myself for staying with them so long giving them chance after chance. Love HEB hate this particular pharmacy, if only I had a people's pharmacy nearby they were the gods of good service and information. Walgreens or cvs, here I come! read more

I am so glad to see that others have experienced bad customer service and it's not just me! They messed up my prescription EVERY MONTH. And they NEVER APOLOGIZE. I kept telling my husband to just go to CVS but we'd forget or this pharmacy would be more convenient and you always think to yourself that surely it won't be a bad experience AGAIN. So the last time we went, we were in the drive-thru and I watched TWO other customers park their cars, walk in then come out several minutes later with a prescription. Say what?? WHY is the drive-thru taking so long?? Ugh! Then there was when I dropped off a prescription and they said it had expired. It was only good for 21 days and they said it had been over 21 days and that I needed to get a new one from my doc. So as we pulled away I pulled out the calendar on my phone and counted the days. It had been 18. When I went back the tech pulled out a pad of paper and did tic marks to count the days. Really?? Every month it was something, sometimes they gave me generic instead of name brand, sometimes it simply wasn't done when we went back to pick it up and we had to wait as if we had just dropped it off. I finally got so mad that last time we were there that I got out of our car in the drive-thru and went in, cut in line and said give me my freakin prescription AS WRITTEN BY MY DOCTOR!! I mean seriously, I've been doing the mom thing for two decades, do you know how many meds & pharmacies and all this I've dealt with and NEVER had issues like that! I was so mad they picked up the phone and made a call for like Code 51 or something. And the funny thing was, it was ONE woman who worked the drive-thru who was completely incompetent and just as unapologetic. Every month, same woman, same mistakes, same attitude. And get this, the woman blamed ME! So they sent some customer service rep or I dunno, maybe she was undercover security. But there wasn't anything she could do, I had a legitimate complaint and I had yelled at them to give me my brand name prescription and DO NOT HAND ME GENERICS YET AGAIN!! Gah!! What was funny was of course the few people who were standing there were watching and my husband had come in by this point, haha gotta love backup, he's never seen me get mad like that :P anyway they rung me up and GOT IT WRONG. so as far as pharmacies go , this place is ok. But be wary! the pharmacist got my prescribing Doctor mixed up and called the wrong doctor! who, bless her heart, called me in her off time (evening) to tell me she 1. hasn't seen me in months and 2. didn't send an Rx over to them for me. After explaining to her its another doctor, she understood, but i was peeved that this sort of error occurred in the first place, i mean the names of the doctors aren't similar and i handed my hard copy of the Rx to the pharmacist! then the pharmacist calls me and says, she spoke with my doctor and she never prescribed this medication and where did i get the Rx from, etc etc. She was rude and condescending. i calmly set her straight and she acted like i was the dumb one! this experience left me upset with the HEB pharmacy and i have now moved my scripts (Rx's) to another pharmacy. shame too, since HEB is literally down the road from me. read more

I was given a wrong medication HEB forged my doctors name and gave me a sleeping pills instead of pain meds and I fell while taking this med.Why is it that they do wrong and get away with it.This was in Austin #12 I sent a certified letter to Mr.Butt and he gave it to the person that was rude to me.Now I am on a mission to find out about Mr.Butt is this man married does he have a wife and children.Does he really care about his customers ore is it about making money.I am praying really hard and long about my situation.I serve an awesome God who will step in and make things right. read more

Also, had problems with this HEB pharmacy. Twice they have fill prescriptions with the wrong dosage. I just called to speak to the pharmacist about medication that said to refrigerate on the information sheet. She was very rude and said she told the person picking up the medication not to refrigerate it. If I am not the person picking it up and the info sheet says something different than the bottle, I don't believe I should be treated so rudely for trying to clarify how to properly handle the medication. We will be looking for another pharmacy. Shame on us for not doing it when they messed up the first time around. read more
