Guy in the drive thru line in the pharmacy was soooo extremely rude rolling his eyes and swinging his head around huffing and puffing at me. I was just trying to pick up meds for my child who was injured. This guy is miserable and he sucks at his job. Acted like my existence was a major inconvenience for him. Dealing with the pharmacy here is frustrating. I understand there's high demand and short staff but that shouldn't translate to the way you treat the customers of the pharmacy. Every time I call this location I'm talked to like a 5 year old being scolded by their parent. "We'll, who am I talking to?!" If you needed that to start off with may I suggest a phone greeting asking for the persons name and date of birth? Lastly, nearly every time I have a prescription filled at this location the app says it'll be ready at a date and time, and EVERY time I'm calling the next day asking about the prescription. I think that's more of a system flaw but truly if you're going to have people on the phone, please at least be polite, kind, and compassionate to the pharmacy patients. read more

Friday July 30th at 7:45pm, an older woman working in the pharmacy asked my husband for an ID and Insurance card to get the Covid vaccine. We're both uninsured, and due to a lost wallet in travel, he also had no ID. If we were simply turned away because of the ID issue, I would understand. Company policy, keeping track of where vaccines are going, whatever. However, she refused to tolerate the idea that either of us could possibly be uninsured, berated us both for that, and then belittled and harassed my husband for not having an ID. "Everyone should have an ID. Even kids in high school get ID's." On and on. Asked why he didn't have one and commented on his lack of responsibility. Like I said, I completely understand if she wouldn't be able to get him a vaccine without an ID. We half expected that to be the case before we got there. What wasn't ok was the harassment and belittlement that came for not having an ID. On top of that, she came after ME for being uninsured, when I wasn't even asking for anything. I got vaccinated months ago (without insurance, as the vaccines are FREE almost everywhere), so her dragging me into the mix was by far the most confusing part of the whole debacle. He got vaccinated at a CVS later that evening without any issues. read more

Terrible pharmacy service, needed scripts filled but after several hours went to store to find the pharmacist had gone home for the day.

I went to the store at 1:20 p.m.. They closed the pharmacy at 1:30 without making any announcement. While I was shopping and headed toward the pharmacy they closed the gate of the pharmacy department. I explained that I just need ed to pick up a prescription cause I'm sick and have a fever. They told me tough come back at 2:00 p.m.. Screw them I will change all my prescriptions over to CVS. How do they close down the pharmacy in the middle of the afternoon. There's got to be some person that can stay in the back and give out prescriptions that have already been processed. read more

This is definitely the most convenient store for sundries near home, or at least my home away from home or my other home. Whatever. I didn't see any homeless when I visited the store in the evening, but I was just intent on rushing in, finding the Neutrogena item I needed, paying and heading on down the road. The item was on sale, rather 2 for 1, so of course, I bought two. They did have a good selection of Neutrogena brand items, so I'm sure to be back. read more

They fill your meds but it is getting them that is the problem since they do not seem to be in any hurry to wait on you. They pharmacist supervisor and the tech watch videos on their phone while you sit in your car or stand there and find that it is a perfectly ok way to treat people. At least pretend you are at work. Walgreens is Walgreens: they have stuff you need and it's convenient. I want to write this to warn you of the growing homeless population that seems to live outside of this location. I honestly feel bad for people that are stuck in this situation but begging just makes me feel uncomfortable. Not a day goes by that I shop here and am pestered with requests for money. The thing is that I don't really carry cash ever so I feel bad for not having any but also feel violated for being requested to shell out my hard earned cash to someone that is setting up camp outside a drug store and speaking low and incoherently and walking towards you and your car. Unfortunately this Walgreens, for pharmaceutical purposes, is lacking in the "customer service" area entirely. It is the most conveniently located drug store to both my house and my doctors office, however I would much rather drive the extra few miles to not have to deal with the head ache that come with this one. I spend about 25 minutes in the drive through the other day, and there was only one car in front of me. When I order my refills online they are almost never ready when I ask for them to be. The abundance of homeless people meandering outside is obnoxious to say the least. You eventually get what you came for, but go elsewhere if you want to get anything done in a timely manner. read more

I live in the area and go at least once every week or so. Everyone is super nice especially the manager and the lady in cosmetics I can't remember her name but she always has her make up and eyebrows done to perfection. They are always so helpful and friendly. Wish all Walgreens were this way. read more

This is where I go to pick up my prescriptions monthly. I've had a decent experience all the other times but recently I had some questions about my billing and the pharmacy tech was extremely rude her name was Eva I think and she made me feel really stupid and was not helpful at all. I was very nice and patient with her while she figured out my problem and all I got in return was her snotty attitude. I'm probably going to have my prescription transferred even though this Walgreens is one minute from my house. It's not worth the convenience if their staff is consistently rude for no reason during a 5 minute drive through interaction. read more

I called in advance to ask if they had an item in stock and the woman on the phone literally Told me she didn't know and as I asked her to check for me she hung up on me mid sentence... I was working and did not have to time to stop by if this item was not in the store so that's why I called ahead. I asked kindly and even called a second time to ask again. This time she cut me off mid sentence AGAIN and told me "I'm with a customer". Am I not a customer as well? She didn't ask to place me on hold at the beginning of the call. She answered with the regular greeting and asked what I needed but as soon as I started talking was when she cut me off to tell me she was busy. So rude for no reason at all. I just transferred my prescriptions from another part of town today because I just moved down here. My call to the pharmacy was so bad I asked her name and she said "Eva" and even spelled it out for me in an obviously condescending tone to make it more insulting "EEEE VVVV AAAA". I asked her what day she expected my prescription to be there and she said "August 1st." When I asked what day that is she said, "I don't have a calendar in front of me dude" and then laughed in the phone. C'mon... read more

Manager Mark was very rude when my prescription was expired...basically threw it back at me and said I can't help you, bye. I called my doctor and she was able to fix it in 5 mins. Drive through has a 10 minute wait and there was no line. read more

Walgreen's=crap. This particular location has me convinced to avoid Walgreen's altogether for matters of convenience. Poor service in the pharmacy is common. This is strange for a place that was built around the pharmacy business. Pharmacists here=decent people. The pharmacy techs=overpaid, spoiled pains-in-the-asses. They consistently act as if they're doing you a favor by filling your prescription for you. The vagrants here are also a problem Just drive to new CVS down the street or wait until real stores are open for convenience purposes. read more

I was so impressed by the wonderful service. I think the store was crowded because today they were offering a discount to seniors. But the staff handled the rush very well. This is not my neighborhood Walgreens. I stopped in after a class at Devonshire Senior Center and was amazed by the staff. The manager was up front. very welcoming. directing the staff. checking the outside of the store. A clerk, Jesus, directed me to the right isle and when I was checking out, he asked if I found everything. I described the one item I did not find and he went back and found it for me. very polite. This was about two in the afternoon and the parking lot was free of pan handlers. I would guess that there is new management at this location and that people in the neighborhood should give this place another try. read more
