I really didn't appreciate the fact that I was speeding to get to the pharmacy to make it there by 6 before they closed. And I managed to make it here at 559 was told that they cannot cash out my son's very important prescription. Because the registers were already closed down. I mean, there should be a courtesy or grace period or they shouldn't at least shut down the cash registers until it's actually 6 o'clock. It's like they're already shutting down before they're actually supposed to, which I don't think is fair, it's something so small, but I should have been allowed that minute because technically, they shouldn't have been closed until 6 PM. I recommend everyone get their flu shots...just not HERE! Actually, unless you're willing to complete the entire check-in process on your phone, you're basically told you CAN'T get a flu shot. At least not on Friday, 11/29/2024! To explain: I made an appointment that morning online for a few hours later that day, completed the required info, got the confirmation text, etc and showed up a few minutes before my appointment time. Got to the store, went back on my phone and clicked "I am here" to check in and walked to the pharmacy in back. At the window I was told that "your zip code has an extra digit in it, can you please redo your info". Fine, no big deal although I am 99.9% certain *I* wasn't responsible for entering my zip code incorrectly. I was then advised by the woman I was speaking with I needed to go back onto phone to RECOMPLETE all of the required agreements. Mind you, I have limited data on my phone plan and try to use it sparingly when not at home. I asked if maybe there was just a form I could complete instead. I was told "No, it's all digital now". So I asked what would happen if I didn't even have a phone. Basically I was blown off. I tried to compete the online forms again, being made to (by the app, not the woman) to download these forms again, twice, because I was having some issues getting through this. Again, I asked if it was possible to just give me the forms to sign. She told me she could help me with my phone but at that point I honestly didn't want to be eating up any more data just trying to get through forms that I KNEW they had to have behind the counter (seriously, what if I didn't own a phone like some don't including family members) and asked, again, if there was just something I could fill out by hand instead. Told no, again. At that point I told her I didn't need a flu shot that badly and walked out. I got in my car, went to CVS, was given a short form and got my flu shot. Mind you, I've had multiple issues with this particular location a few years back and just stopped using Walgreens entirely. Walgreens, 1800 N. Nob Hill Rd, Plantation, FL 33322. Absolutely the worst customer service at this location. From the pharmacy to the photo department. Night shift team lead on a Friday night, forget it. Not sure what he's leading but don't count on getting help from him. He gave the phone to a female who I overheard told him she was in the breakroom. Mind you, he's the team lead but he's giving the phone to someone else. She spoke to me and said to call 1-800-Walgreens about my issue. Switched to CVS for much better customer service, that's just my personal opinion. read more

Great store! BUT WATCH OUT FOR INDIVIDUALS PREYING! However, TODAY I noticed two young adults hanging outside this location holding some form of "luggage". They were NOT asking for money but were just waiting by the front door standing and engaging in small chatter. Even during the rain they just stood there and waited. About 3 hours later my bank account showed a weird charge. Someone had used my card number in Miami for $100. Just be cautious that people are out preying on other individuals' money. Thank goodness my bank has reversed all charges and fees associated with this criminal act. read more

This is a brand new store and is quite big and neat. I came to get some flu medicine. Someone suggested I get Muxinex that is kept behind the pharmacy counter. When I asked for it, they had different types, I didn't know whichever one to get so I was sent to talk to the pharmacist. Turns out, Muxinex was not what I needed, the pharmacist suggested I get something else. I grabbed it off the shelf and grabbed an iced tea to take it right away. Once at the register, the cashier told me the tea was BOGO and encouraging me to get another one. I mean, I think customer service here is great. Love the store set up, but it is too far me. Chances are I won't be back, bit it is a great store and I recommend it. read more

This has to be the worst pharmacy I have ever had to use. Totally incompetent staff. Got my name wrong, my date of birth wrong, my address wrong. Gave them my insurance card and they ran it through saying z-pack (erythromycin) is not covered and charged me $40. Went back after a few minute once I clarified with my insurance (over 20 years working in healthcare). Totally rude staff, arrogant, careless and unapologetic!! Waited another 45 minutes, getting major attitude and eye rolls the entire time! Not the way to do business. You should be ashamed of yourselves. And no, NOT the first time with a bad experience here. My wife swore she would not come back here. Unfortunately the only pharmacy that stays open until 11pm in this area. Pitiful! read more

Most unprofessional pharmacy I've ever been to. No one here genuinely cares about health care. This one pharmacist, middle aged, curly hair Hispanic, was talking about her customers!! Talking crap while there is a line and she is checking me out. I felt terrible for whoever was at the drive thru be treated like this. I've had one pharmacist judge my medications multiple times. I hate having to go here and I'm switching as soon as possible. I leave here feeling terrible and judged and everyone else does too. Disgusting!! They need to clean house. I am an advocate of Walgreen's for many years. I must admit that their store on University and Sunrise Blvd. is a tremendous disappointment. The people that work in the store are rude and act like they are doing you a favor to answer a a question or wait on you! They need to go back to being trained in Customer Service. I spoke with the manager of the store regarding being treated very badly and was told he would speak to the staff member who was so rude. I am taking this unpleasant matter to Corporate to make sure they are aware of what is happening within there stores. This location will not see me again!! read more

Pharmacy doesn't answer, keeps you on hold for a long time then when they FINALLY pick up they immediately hang up on you. They are very unprofessional when it comes to following up. They call to tell you that your medication is ready then when you get there to pick it up, they don't have it ready, it is suddenly out of stock. I would recommend that you get your medication at a more professional and reliable place. read more

I had a very bad experience at this Walgreens with pharmacist Bimal. She is very rude and unprofessional. She refused to give me my vaccine after I had an appointment. She said "we don't have the man power". She was very rude she continued to say "if you waited this long for the vaccine you can wait longer" . She is a lousy provider . Incompetent. This Walgreens and its pharmacy is open 24 hours. When I rushed my son to the emergency room with a fever in the middle of the night, my options were the hospital pharmacy ($$$$) and Walgreens (free). This is also the only Walgreens that I get my photos processed at. I don't know what's different here, but it makes the photos better. Sign up for the free Walgreens card if you shop here often and you'll get the lowest sale price available. Also you can get store credits for buying certain items. Sign up for their email newsletter and get coupon codes for free prints from the photo department a few times a year. read more

One of the pharmacists in this store is the most rude obnoxious person I've ever encountered. I asked if my perscription was in she rudely asked for my name address. She said yeah wait!! She came back with my perscription threw it on the counter said there it is. I said thank you. She turned away I asked if I have any others she said no rolled her eyes as if I annoyed her to do her job. Again I said thank you she said yeah what ever. This is very unprofessional conduct!! If she had a bad day a problem in her personal life this is not the customers issue. Next step if this happens again I will be calling corporate to see how to resolve this issue I hope the management of this store handles it locally I'd rather this not have to go further. Been to this pharmacy before and have gotten the same script filled in the past. Today the blonde twit at the pharmacy desk told me they do not have my medication or when they would get it in and told me they couldn't tell me anywhere else to go to get it. Very unprofessional and will not be using this walgreens again. Cvs is the way to go it seems. read more

Open 24 hours. Specious,clean most of the time. Just like your usual neighborhood Walgreens. Nothing special about this one. The only thing that I have the need to mention is the loud big guy with white hair that is there most of the times I go here. He is always complaining about the employees. It seems that everytime I go inside there is the same guy being loud. I don't know if he is the asst. manager or manager but he treats the employees horrible and I have even heard him over the phone with an employee who seemed to be calling out and then he complained for like the 30 minutes I was there to another employee about the one who had just called saying all horrible things. I went to pick up my prescription at 6pm when it was busy but when it was my turn at the window, the tech took her sweet time as if she could care-a-less about the numerous people waiting in line. Total disappointment with the pharmacy manager danielle sprimont..i have to leave town on a emergency i went with 2 scripts.. 1st she said couldnt fill them early when my ins. Plan covers 2 vacations emerg refill which i stated several times even stated i spoke to them as i walked in so i already knew the facts and that they can be filled..said couldnt fill i started to call my ins than said she can fill 1 which was a non narcotic...im like how can u fill 1 early and not the other ,she says its a narcotic which is not relevant. .i said id fill the non and started to call my insurance so she can hear on speaker non or not ive veen on same meds for almost 8yrsand said the co pay is 73.00 how much i pay? I pay 5.00 as always than said that walgreens isnt a preferrred to my health insurance. .seeing that i knew i was being lied to and just tryin to blow me off i felt insulted and degraded that she couldnt fill the other script which is a lie..im tryin to deal w this family emergency best i can and now dealing w this.knowing i wasnt goin to pay 73.00 when its 5.00 nomatter what pharmacy i go to..i felt treated unfairly..it was unprofessional i was humiliated like as if im an addict or something when im a normal working man w a condition..i went to the next store said absolutely nothing with the same scripts they called my doctor as they should as a professional it was autherized no problem and treated like a gentleman.. read more
