This place, the Pharmacy, deserves NO stars!!!! I have had nothing but trash service from these people and completely disrespectful customer service! I had a vaccination appointment for my 3 boys scheduled and they turned me away because the Pharmacist called out before their shift but there was no attempt to resolve the problem they caused!!! We popped into this Walgreens only to get a shot for my wife. I was impressed by how clean the space is, both the floor and the POS. The line was long for the pharmacy, which the staff says is typical, but we didn't get the notion that it was a speed issue so much as a quantity of people issue. I ended up finding a couple great deals on sale items marked down for Christmas. This was a positive experience for a passer by. read more

Worst service and care ever. When to pickup some medicine and they told me that my regularly $28 medicine was next to $300 now. I explain to the lady that that was wrong and ask them to call and find out why it jumped 300% and she said we don't do that anymore. Huh? I guess their new motto is Money over care - were a business and we want our money. They won't help any customers. Basically we don't care it's business. I decide right then and there I'm done with that Pharmacy, I don't want people that just want to run a business that's the problem with medicine it's not business it's personal and it's caring and they don't have either one of them. read more

TRICARE now allows a different pharmacy, so I'm leaving. Wish I knew sooner, as I would have left immediately. This location has gotten worse, and worse, and worse. Here is a rough summary of a long time getting poor service. Some simple changes could go a LONG way towards earning back stars, but its been years and no change. Here is a run down of some specific events, plus some general ones: *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Fall 2018 - had multiple things called in from IVF clinic. Tech rejected the scripts and didn't contact the clinic. Clinic doc said they had never in their entire career had a script rejected with no explanation or follow up Fall 2018 - same timeframe (IVF things), finally get scripts submitted. one of the scripts wasn't in stock (we were counting on this. IVF timing is CRITICAL). they said it would be on the truck the next day. Had to call to verify, turns out it was not. Pharmacy manager promised me it would be on the truck 2 days later (Thursday, I believe). It was not. Again, I had to call. talked to the store manager, they finally fixed the error, and the script did arrive the following week. Apparently the guy who rejected the script was a contractor brought on for surge support. ***Over the years: have gotten in drive through line with plenty of time prior to close no less than 5 times, to have them shut the window in our face prior to serving us (4-6 cars in front of us, max, at start). Summer 2022 - was given somebody else's prescription at drive through window, didn't realize it until I got home. I contacted the person and we did an in-person handoff (it had charged their card on file) August 2022 - was told my wife's prescription would be ready for pickup before close. My wife got in the car line with 40 minutes to spare. As it got closer to close, I called to tell them she was in line and needed it that night. They said they would take care of her. They then closed the door in her face. September 2022 - my wife was trying to get a script filled for a staph infection (pretty important to start that ASAP?), and they were super rude to her, and she barely got the meds before they closed in her face (she went inside this time, and stood there) There are more, I've just don't remember the specific circumstances HERE IS AN IDEA: If they just put a cone in front of the drive through as closing approached (15-20 minutes before) and served every car in front of the cone. . . I think a lot of folks frustrations would be helped. Maybe a rope line setup or something inside, same thing. Once the system is in place, folks will know, and act accordingly *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Why did we keep getting into the line? probably should have learned our lesson. I was at your pharmacy Prattville Alabama location about 20 minutes ago with a prescription, the cashier asked me was I Gloria, I said I am and then she ask to see my driver license, which I produce. is that standard, I mean I could have been picking up for some of my family members or a neighbor.I felt some kind of way about that. so I will be writing a letter to corporate and talking to the pharmacist tomorrow. will not be back to this store ever! again Gloria Carter read more

There should be a priority system for urgent need medication post-surgery for pain. Some sense of customer service would be appreciated versus being told there are a hundred prescriptions in front of us and we can't help you until tomorrow...3 hours prior to closing. Customer service representative was dismissive, no chance of making a call while I was the customer. Too worried about the rest of the line, not the customer in front of them. read more

So. Painfully. Slow. Every. Single. Time. I come here because it's ¼ of a mile from my house, but the time may be spent better driving to another pharmacy. I am SO sorry but it is the truth. This time, I've been in the drive thru for 40 minutes. I'm two cars from the window and I genuinely don't know if I am going to make it before they close in 25 minutes. If possible, I recommend avoiding the frustration. On a positive note, you can make a big dent in your podcasts while waiting. read more

This pharmacy doesn't even deserve a one star review. They are the rudest uncaring people I have ever scene. My grandson had the flu. His regular pharmacy was out of the medication. Walgreens had it. My daughter goes there to get them to call and transfer the prescription. The Pharmacist refuses to do so. She said we have 50 prescriptions to be filled. I'm not transferring it until tomorrow. My daughter couldn't believe it! A sick child had to go another night without the meds he headed to make him better! The Pharmacist didn't even apologize. She just turned and walked away. read more

I wish there was a lower rating than 1 star I could give for this place. They are the slowest pharmacy in town, rude as they can be, and screwed up my shot appointment 2 times in a row (WOULD NOT see me because they were too busy, even though I had a scheduled appointment!!). Also, I was there recently at 4pm and their pharmacy was already closed (even though advertised to close at 6pm). I could go on and on. They are absolutely horrible. read more

This Walgreens is awful. Dont bother dropping off or getting prescriptions called in. They won't start working on it till you walk in the door so you have to wait the 20 minutes anyway. I genuinely hate this place. read more

Horrible experience! I was placed on hold for nearly 10 minutes. The phone rang back 3 times and no one ever came to the phone. As a matter of fact when I said hello, someone sent me back to more music. I spoke to Shay the pharmacist and this is normal practice for them. I went to Publix instead!!! I can only think that people go to this location out of habit. However, I'd rather spend my money where I am respected as a customer. read more

This by far the worse and sorry pharmacy store I have come in contact with. The staff and pharmacy does know nothing about customer service. They lack the knowledge to answer questions. They give a very general answer that has nothing to with a customer issue. I do not recommend this store for your pharmacy needs. read more

Had my doc call my prescription in 3 days early because I'm leaving the country for an extended amount of time. I get there to pick it up and they say that they can't fill it mind you I leave in less than 12 hours. If this is how Walgreens treats their veterans you can forget my business along with my family. We will go local to someone who cares. Side note the guy was like show me your flight ticket and I'll fill it. IM MILITARY I TAKE MILITARY FLIGHTS WITH MY MARINES!!!! Walgreens Pharmacy is one of the worst places I have ever been. I called multiple times a week in attempt to get a prescription filled, and it has now been over a week and they still have not gotten it filled. When I went to go get a different prescription filled, they said that it would be a "30 minute wait." After the 30 minutes, I came back in, and they said they lost the order in the system, and it would take another 30 minutes. One of the worst places to deal with, and will be switching pharmacies immediately. read more

I booked an appointment for a flu shot and they couldn't help me. What is the point of offering a service if you aren't going to actually provide it. We waited 15 minutes to find out if the shot was going to take place, needless to say, I need to find another location for my daughter's flu shot. During our 15 minute wait, no movement from the pickup line occurred either, worst experience at a Walgreens. read more
