Do not get your prescriptions filled here! I thought CVS was bad.. oh no! I was so wrong! This pharmacy is extremely unorganized. They have one pharmacist say one thing then the other pharmacist comes on shit and says another. They are constantly out of stock for medicine. They claim it's due to shortages but funny how all other pharmacies have it in stock. Last month they wouldn't fill my anxiety meds because "it hasn't been 30 days" I had to remind them that I only have a 30 day supply and there had been 31 days in the previous month. They filled it thankfully. As a patient, I trust a pharmacy to give me my medications that my physician prescribes to me, for good reasons . They try to act like doctors!! I switched back to CVS this week. I'm done with this. I hate when pharmacists make me feel like crap for taking medications! And if you're out of stock, warn your patients. read more

I stopped by Walgreens before lunchtime to pick up a refill on a prescription that I had forgotten to call ahead and order. The man at the counter in the drive through was very friendly and said he could refill it within ten minutes if I don't mind waiting. I waited under five minutes and it was refilled ! That was so convenient and fast to refill a prescription! They also accept GoodRx which helps you save money on prescriptions! read more

Stopped by this Walgreens while in Reno, and overall it was a decent experience. The store itself looks clean and well-stocked, which is always a plus. It did take a few minutes to get assistance since they seemed a bit short on staff, but once helped, everything went smoothly. Nice that they take used returns (we returned a humidifier) before 90 days, though it has to be store credit. We didn't use the pharmacy this time, but it's nice to know they have one available. I made an appointment for a COVID booster shot. Not sure why I had to wait 30 minutes for a shot when they didn't appear to be that busy and I had an appointment. I'm not sure what the advantage of an appointment is. The individual who administered the shot inserted the needle too high on my arm which caused my arm to become partially immobile. I was told by my medical provider that I need to go to physical therapy and hope that it resolves itself in two or three weeks. :-( I will get future injections from my primary care provider. read more

This was the worst experience I've had with a pharmacy. I pulled up in the drive through. First there was an issue with insurance. Not problem. Then the insurance wouldn't cover the prescription without authorization so it was sticker price. Told them no problem. They said it would be fifteen minutes to fill so I could get in the back of the drive through line or go inside. I went inside. When I get inside the tell me they actually don't have the prescription in stock and ask if I would like them to check the Moana location. Sure, no problem. After 40 minutes of Walgreens being on "hold" With Walgreens, I was told that location didn't have the prescription. Well, turns out I had a family member at the Moana location at that same time who went and check with the Moana Pharmacy. Turns out, the Moana pharmacy DID have the prescription in stock. I sat at this location for over an hour for the to supposedly call the Moana location. Either they never called or just gave up after a few minutes on hold. read more

This review is specifically about the pharmacy. I was using a GoodRx coupon for my script. The gal ringing me up gave me a MUCH higher price than the coupon. I've had this same prescription thru Walgreens several times before and never encountered this before. She re-ran it through GoodRx and said the price was the higher price. I called GoodRx when I got home and they said that the reason the price was higher is because Walgreens was NOT filling the prescription with a generic brand this time. I now have to go back and ask Walgreens to order the less expensive generic brand. The gal who was ringing me up was horrible and had no idea of why the price was higher. Her reason was that Walgreens did not have to honor the GoodRx coupon price even if they had in the past. Walgreens! Sadly my ex passed and now I needed to make thank you sympathy cards and wanted a quick turn around time. Started creating this morning, and received an email I could pick up tomorrow. Nice! Later in the afternoon I received another email stating it was ready. I called before I went to pick them up, and they were in the process of cutting the 40 5x7's.. I really like this Walgreens on S Virginia. They are always friendly and helpful. I have only been there for pharmaceuticals and never had a long wait. I understand that they close for lunch and I think that's very proper and professional. I am thinking of changing from CVS because that place is always very busy and not as friendly. read more

When I checked in at first they couldn't find our appointment even though I called this morning to confirm. The staff is always slow and clueless. I was here the day before to pick up photos. This pharmacy has some of the dumbest people breathing working here. Not all of them are vapid, incompetent morons, but the one I spoke with today sure was. We went through the drive through to pick up a prescription that we had been told would be ready the day before. When we got to the window, we were told she would fill it and she'd have it ready "in 10-15 minutes". We returned 30 minutes later and we then were helped by the village idiot. She said that the prescription was out of stock until Wednesday (two days in the future). We told her that we had just been helped by her coworker and we were told that it was in stock and would be ready in "10 to 15 minutes". Then we asked to please speak to her coworker. She said that she didn't know who it was because she had "been in the back". Given that there were no more than 3 people in the entire pharmacy, the exercise in finding the mystery woman could not be too hard. However, the dunce made it clear by her lack of responsiveness and her vacant stare that helping us with the Herculean task of determining which of the other two employees had helped us was going to be far too taxing for her pea-sized brain. Given that I felt myself becoming dumber by the second while dealing with this woman, I decided to wait until Wednesday, when I fully expect to be disappointed again. read more

Just switched to this Walgreens from the one in the Northwest. That one was bad but this one is worse. Awful customer service at the Pharmacy Counter. They don't care how long you wait while they are fiddling around. It is a joke. I was there for 40 minutes, 15 in line and then another 25 waiting for the pharmacist to approve my medication. She was giving flu shots and those take time. She should have done the approval before the customer arrives. They had four hours to fill the prescription. This is the second time I been here to fill prescriptions and it is always the same. You stand there waiting whether it is one person inline or five. And they are in no hurry to get you out. To make matters worse they chit-chat with the customers to make it even longer. I don't like this place so I think I will have to get back to CVS. I don't think you could get any worse. Please, if you have to get a prescription filled do not do it here. We had our prescription sent over at 11:40 this morning. It's now 2:56 and I'm still waiting for it while my husband who just had surgery is in excruciating pain. We went into Walgreens at 1:00pm we figured an hour and 20 mins was enough time to fill a prescription, they said it wasn't there and it's not in their que. Ok fine, so I call his Dr and then they inform me that it was sent in at 11:40 and Walgreens confirmed that they received it. Awesome! So they should have it you would think, maybe they just looked up the wrong account. So we go back :) nope, they don't have it. I finally call at 2:00 after a back and forth phone call with his dr. They have it. It won't be ready for a while but they will call when it's ready. No update at all not even a window like 25-45 mins? Nothing! Meanwhile it's time to get my son from school can't go get him because I'm down in Reno waiting for medication. Husband can't pick him up because we'll, surgery. The line for the damn pick up is 15 cars deep. The store sucks, the people who work there are rude and it's not very clean either. Terrible service and wait times to speak to a pharmacist by phone. There are times when things can't be handled electronically. Difficult to find the number to call even, not to mention wading through the teleprompts. After 25 minutes holding, my status in the queue hasn't budged. This, after visiting an urgent care last night at 8pm, having them send it in and then being told there was an hour and a half wait at the drive up window at the Walgreens where it was sent. Now I can't reach the closest store to transfer the prescription to someplace with a reasonable drive for me. Never again Walgreens. I hustled myself to the Pharmacy and 2minutes and 33 seconds before the were to close for their lunch I was told that they were "closed for lunch". There were other customers at the counter, nothing was indicated YET that they were at lunch. My three-year old daughter and wife went to this "pharmacy" this morning. It was pure chaos, they made my daughter wait for two hours with my wife (rather than letter her get the flu shot at the same time) and then after two hours told my wife they didn't have the right needle to give my daughter her flu vaccine. I know there are staff shortages, and I'm pretty patient, but the incompetence and lack of organization at this location is almost incomprehensible. People are standing around doing nothing while massive lines form, the staff was rude and uninformative, and clearly had no idea what was going in. Combine this with the huge phone wait times and there is no reason to ever go here. Whoever is managing the pharmacy at this location needs to go immediately. read more

When I went in there was no one at the register and I waled around the story trying to hunt someone down. This location is a two. Let's start with the parking lot. The parking lot was cleared of ice but has some debris on the ground. When getting out and walking to the sidewalk there was clumps of ice on the side walk. My kiddo slipped and hit hard. He was fine but the point is people are going to be walking on the side walk. CLEAR IT. When going in there was no welcoming a like other stores. We walked to the area for the item we were looking for and they didn't have any on the floor. So I found a worker and asked them for the item. She did not want to look in the back and told is automatically there was a waiting list. She wasn't very nice about it. I have recently started using the drive thru to collect prescription to limit person to person contact. After receiving several notifications that I had a prescription waiting I showed up shortly after lunch time Monday, waited thru the line of cars only to be told there was no Rx waiting for pick up, but it could be ready in 1 hour. I returned shortly after 5 pm I was the 7TH car in line. It took approx 40 min to reach the head of the line and I waited a full 10 minutes and no one in side ever acknowledged my existence so I left. If Walgreen will not/can not hire sufficient staff to service both inside and outside customers adequately it should suspend service at one or the other. I really think Walgreens is great. Travel in the West coast extensively the stores are convenient for prescription pick up. However, this store is by far the worst run Walgreens I have ever been in. The pharmacy is always confused, slow, understaffed and just does not care. Waiting 20 plus minutes for assistance in an empty store is not unusual. I highly recommend coming to this pharmacy for travel vaccinations. My doctor didn't have typhoid and all the travel centers charged counseling fees on top of the vaccine. The pharmacist is very very busy and even when you make the appointment you will wait. I waited 1 hour. So be patient. The poor pharmacist is constantly busy. read more
