After trapping me in the drive-thru for 30 minutes, one of these highly trained medical scholars ordered me inside, only to proudly announce they had absolutely no clue what my prescriptions were. Silly me for thinking a pharmacy technician could navigate a computer screen. They expect you to know what the doctor prescribed. Their pharmacy wasn't the best before, but since Riteaid down the street closed it's even worst. Lines 20 people deep inside and 6-7 cars outside. I've been sitting at the drive through at the back of the line for 15 minutes without moving. I can't wait in line inside because of my disability. When I do get up there they employees are in absolutely no hurry whatsoever. I've also had issues with zero communication from them or misinformation at least every few months. On Friday, April 3, 2026, I bought two gift cards $25 ea. The cashier said they didn't activate and she said to grab two more cards, that they were tampered with. I grabbed two more cards. Still no activation. I asked about the receipt on the first one, and she said it would be emailed to me. She gave me the second receipt and said I would be refunded through my bank. I checked my banking statement and the charges went straight through. I went back in and asked the manager for a refund. They refused saying the charges would disappear. They didn't. I went back 6 days later and talked to another store manager. She said there was nothing she could do and would not refund my money. She noticed on the receipt that it said I was cashed out $50 and a statement saying Payment has been refunded. I never received my money. I disputed the charges through my bank and they told me that wasn't right, that I paid for things that I never received. I realized that I was scammed, the cashier probably took the money. I went back to Walgreens and talked to a line supervisor, no manager was available. She denied the scam and said there was something wrong with their cash registers and they knew about the problem. She said I could get my money back the next day when a manager was there. I told her I already disputed it. Please be careful buying gift cards here or anywhere for that matter. If this happens don't leave until you get a refund! I found this scam online: This scenario describes a theft where a cashier illegally keeps cash after falsely claiming a gift card failed to activate. Immediately report this as employee theft to store management, demand a refund with your receipt, and contact law enforcement. If refused, dispute the charge with your bank, as you did not receive the product. Immediate Actions to Take: Do Not Leave the Store: Ask for a manager or supervisor immediately. Pharmacy has been nothing but trouble. When I have a problem with a prescription (Which is very often) they make it nearly impossible to get it resolved over the phone. Calling the store gets you connected to a phone system that directs you to a remote call center where they will tell you anything to brush you off. They told me my prescription would be ready in 90 minutes. It wasn't. Then told me again it would be ready in 90 minutes. It wasn't. Then they said there was an insurance issue. The prescription is for my dog and he has never had insurance. I gave up and had my vet sent the prescription to Costco. Costco was fantastic. read more

So I called them at 11ish today to make sure that they are doing passport pictures, etc. when I got there minutes later the person at the photo department asked me if I have something else to wear as what I was wearing was not suitable for passport photos. I said no and continued to ask why i wasn't told on the phone and now I have to make another trip. I asked for the manager and Shane came and immediately reversed the blame on me that I should know because it would be on the passport website, in a rude and disrespectful voice. I made my granddaughter graduation announcements (online) but when it printed it cut off the date on the bottom. I came into the store to picked up I saw the date was cut off. Shane show me how to make it fit. But when he printed it out it cut off part of the top of her head. Again he worked with me and we got it within the picture and it printed out perfectly. In between helping Shane was helping other customers and was just as nice and helpful with them. I really appreciate his assistance and great customer service. read more

I have been with Rite Aide on walerga and elverta in Antelope, CA for over 7 years and hated they went out of buisness because they were caring and very helpful in more ways then one. Now Im with Walgreens on Antelope and Walerga and have had nothing but issues with my very most important medications. First one is Hydrogordone that i have been taking for over 20 years and my first impression on getting this my first time with walgreen they did not have it for 5 days and then sent me to another walgreens after 5 days without. Now i need my breathing inhaler Bentrize and they haven't had it for 3 days??? And today i talk to someone in the pharmacy direct and they said they still don't have the bentrize??? And to try tomorrow, I asked her what can i do and all she could tell me is to find another pharmacy cause they run out quickly with having all of rite aide patients. WOW These are VERY important meds for me. They should of never took on so many patients or order way more presciptions or stop taking on more patients. Im not happy at all. If you are considering this place to be your home pharmacy: look elsewhere. I have been coming here since I was a kid as it was close to my parents home, and I never switched as an adult. The past year the customer service has gone downhill. The pharmacy staff is RUDE. Today, 3/30/2023 I found I had an ear infection and had a script sent over. I called the pharmacy at 5:30pm to see if I would be able to pick it up today because my ear is throbbing and the portal said "delayed". The tech said they had to get new directions from the provider but she'd have it done in an hour. I was going to ask what time they closed but she HUNG UP? I drive over at 6:30 and ask for my prescription, I'm told there's an issue and they're waiting for the provider to re-fax it. I told them they said they already said they had the new one on the phone call earlier? The girl said "we don't have your medicine we'll send you a text when it's done" no apologies, no time frame, no kindness. I left in tears with a throbbing ear. This is just the worst of the instances this past year. They are horrible over there now and honestly frightening how they treat people just trying to get their medicine to get better. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint and will be switching pharmacies once I (finally) get my medicine and feel better. It never fails that I have an issue filling rx at this pharmacy. I will get a message saying the process is initiated followed up an hour later that there was an issue and I have to call. When I call I'm told "oh that was a mistake, let me send it through". Such a hassle. Now, I have been attempting to pick up meds for my sick kid since Thurs, today is Saturday. The pharmacy has been closed this whole time. I go into the store to inquire and the sales rep with a face full of piercings was incredibly rude and told me "life happens" and shrugs. Apparently the pharmacist won't be back until Monday, and that's no guarantee. I'm a very understanding person so I understand the demand on some of the long wait for medications, and businesses experiencing short staff etc . But what I don't understand is the rudeness and unprofessionalism of a staff member in the pharmacy. The pharmacy tech- who answers the phone is extremely rude and unprofessional. She hung up in my face as I attempted to explain to her I'm calling to check on the status of a med- I was I asked to give the pharmacy a few hours when I called at 9 am to fill a prescription. It's now 430pm and the pharmacy closes at 5pm. Her response to me " we are 6 days behind and these medications are not a high priority" as I attempted to explain she hangs up in my face. I was told "There is "no public restroom" . The manager was snarky when I asked to use bathroom, as I had urgency from bladder surgery. He would not let me use it. They must have reduced staff. They assume you're a drug addict when u have been waiting 7 days to get your prescription that was requested on time, not early, because of their miscommunication with the Dr's office. Once the rude pharmacist lady decided she wouldn't fill both of my anxiety meds she refused to fill my original prescription for something I have taken for years. This was wvwn after the other one was cancelled by my Drs office. She was just judging me and purposely giving me a hard time. I had to have my Dr. Send to CVS, which is a wonderful, kind, place, I wish I went with them to begin with. It's worth driving farther. I would never recommend this pharmacy to anyone. They need to revamp their employees because most are very heartless and get smart with people. They do not care about the patients. This store is somehow similar to cvs pharmacy. I like the location of this store it's like in the middle of everything. There are many parking spots around it so if you want to park near the store , even if it's going to be busy, you'll are still going to be able to park near the store. It's pretty cool that this store is carrying almost everything starting from the stuff that you use everyday to the pharmacy. There are pretty big selection of the different kind of shampoos, body sprayers, deodorants, etc. this store is located near by my house. So everytim tha I need something real quick, like a gal of milk , instead of going to Walmart or winco that is nearby , I just swing by the Walgreens. This store has lots of different foods. They do have milk fruits and plenty of other stuff. If you are craving some midnight snacks that is an exact place to go. Their selection of chips and different kinds of drinks is huge. So if you have a sleepover that is the place to shop for it. They also do pictures for and out and you can get the pictures on the spot. It's amazing how fast and how chip you can get your photos in just numerous minutes. They also have a pharmacy aisle. If you have your prescription to go, they will set you up within 30 minutes and you will have your pharmacy in your hand. I would suggest to get some shopping done at your waiting time. read more

Kenna was amazing. I have not been having very good customer service lately and asked to speak with a manager and I was fortunate to meet Kenna. She came with the most amazing customer service I have seen in a long time. The whole world is shortstaffed and I understand that, but having the issues that had been having with the photo department were really unacceptable and after having to make a third trip in and being told that I would have to come back a forth time because I received an email in error saying my items were ready really disappointed me, Kenna came in and actually listened to me and heard my frustration. Review for pharmacy only: Horrible. My mother broke her foot and had surgery (i.e. can't walk or drive) on top of a slew of other health problems. Despite using Walgreens pharmacies all over the country with zero issues, this pharmacy basically refused to fill her RX, despite the doctor sending it direct. My mother has moved 5 minutes from this pharmacy and the pharmacist talked over my mother and myself basically saying she needed to go to the old pharmacy she used to use (also Walgreens but 30-40 minutes away.) After being talked over like a stupid person by the pharmacist, who was also very rude to my elderly mother on the phone, she finally conceded and called the doctor to verify the RX info. I have attempted calling this pharmacy multiple times and they sometimes never answer the phone or put you on hold for 10+ minutes. Today, my mother's doctor attempted to call to fill a RX and the pharmacy didn't even answer for the doctor. Do yourself a favor and find a pharmacy. I hate leaving these reviews but this place is a nightmare. read more

Pharmacy takes an insane amount of time. My partner always complains about it and today, my first encounter, I experienced it. I pulled right up to the window and they said they'd be with me soon. I waited 20 minutes before being helped while the (at least) 3 associates helped the long line inside. I was at the window before any of the folks inside were at the counter. I'm very patient, especially with understanding most places are short staffed but with 3 people helping everyone inside that arrived after me at the window, doesn't seem like the proper way to handle the situation. read more

I've been going to this Walgreens for years now and it's been going downhill pretty steadily, but today was the last straw. Their pharmacy is usually very slow, but I was only the third person in line in the drive through today, to pick up one prescription, and it took me over an hour to get through the line. Im not sure if they're understaffed or what, but this isn't just an abnormal incident, they are frequently out of prescriptions, slow, or just don't answer their phone.
