I was in Walgreens earlier today around 4:30 when this young white girl just starts racially profiling me. I went to go grab a drink out of the cooler and she begins yelling at me if I'm stupid and don't know how to read. She starts yelling how i need to go back to my country and learn how to read. I was born here and I'm sorry the complexion of my skin offends you. I'm sorry I'm a bit more tan then you are. First of all ma'am i happen to be disabled because I'm partially blind i do apologize i did not see the sign stating do not open. But to be treated like this for simply trying to grab a drink. No employee should be able to berate and belittle a person simply because i do have trouble seeing. Hence why i walk slowly trough the store. This type of treatment is unacceptable . If i made a mistake you simply could have told me with a little customer service. "Employee-Excuse sir I'm so sorry but we do have a sign that reads not to open the cooler is there anything i can help you with? Customer-Why yes please i do apologize i have trouble seeing and I'm just trying to grab a drink" That's how well our exchange could have gone. If you made it to the bottom of my pettiness then i thank you, I'm just saying if you mad leave that at home and don't take it out on your customers, if you having a bad day walk away and take a breath. Last night I was at the Walgreens off waterman and baseline and like always I get greeted with a smile by "LIZ"a customer service associate She always make me laugh and listens to what I have to say. Awesome experience. Although I witness couple shoplifting acts back to back by two homeless people. I feel so bad for the employees because they could only do so much. I strongly recommend management to always have a security present at this location. The pharmacy service at this at Walgreens is terrible. My pain clinic called in to get my prescription refilled for my pain medicine and the pharmacist refused to fill it due to the fact that I take for a day and they only can prescribe three a day from their store. I don't know what makes them think they're the doctor, but this is ridiculous. I recommend CVS Pharmacy over Walgreens any time. Last night I went to purchase air freshener for house and car fresheners for my car and they a special 4/16 so the air freshener weren't scanning cause Elizabeth in charge said they weren't in the system so she said I can't sell them to you. But I told her if it's okay if she can give the discount for at least for the car freshener and she said know with attitude oh no we can't do that. I told her for in the inconvenience and oh no my supervisor is going to no and asked what's his name and she said call Marcus.So I told I done retail before she could of override and gave me discount but no she was being rude about people like her doesn't deserve to work there if she no consideration to handle a simple problem I guess she doesn't like her job she isn't available to solve a simple problem. I feel when you get a shipment scan before u are going to put in shelves to see if it's on system if not you are going to have the same problem with product . Literally they have the slowest pharmacy EVER! They take forever and I have had issues where I did not receive some prescriptions and had to come all the way back. I would not recommend going to this location if you are pressed for time. I hope they get some help there because I'm quite sure they are understaffed. read more

Pricilla in the pharmacy has great customer service!! We went through the drive threw to pick up my aunts medication-- The medicine was ready-- but my aunt was dehydrated and needed a Gatorade--- Pricilla was so kind-- she ran and brought the Gatorade and allowed us to purchase everything through the Drive-Thru window. Pharmacy is a nightmare and they totally violate HIPPA when they handle things. You should have the option of submitting things to insurance if it gets denied at first or pay. They make you go without medications and submit it anyway without your permission. I had a meltdown when they wouldn't give me my medication, and had to wait the 7 days without it. they said it would take 7 days to get approval, with I had simply used more than my insurance approves of prescriptions per month... Since I had just had an emergency c section and was on 2 different BP meds and other post op medications. Then you have to start treatment of your medication all over again. Fun fun Walgreens in General is shady, I had 15 pain pills missing from my scribe when I was post op for spine surgery... I went without pain meds for 3 days because someone in the pharmacy is a thief. read more

Seriously this is the worst pharmacy ever. She told me "7 minutes" and I've been sitting here over an hour. Then when I said something, they clearly hadn't been working on it...so they said "Sorry...10 min." That was about 25 min. ago. I already called in late to work. I'm gonna have to leave it here and still be late--for nothing. Every. Single. Time. I stop les comjng here, but my mom didn't know how bad it was and put my brothers prescription here anyway. Honestly the most horrible experience I have ever had at a Walgreens store ! I understand the area is rough and the clientele is not the best but the security made me and my family feel uncomfortable since the moment we walked in the store . He followed us through every aisle making my shopping experience very uncomfortable. He even approached me at one point and accused me of trying to steel something. This is the worst Walgreens pharmacy ever!! My daughter had 2 prescriptions, one they filled right away, the other I was told was going to take 5 days because it was a compound. No problem, we know compound meds take longer to fill. Now fast forward 5 days later.. no medicine. I asked the girl what was the problem and she said this is a compound and we don't do those. Huh?? You think you could've told me sooner or not even take the script! They didn't call me within the 5 days or nothing!! Erica was her name, was super nonchalant like she didn't care that this was an important medicine for my daughter. She was rolling her eyes, sighing with a whole attitude. Not once did she apologize about the mishap just hurry and leave! Well give me my script so I can take it somewhere else.. guess what, they couldn't find it! So while they took forever looking for my script I called corporate on Erica right in front of her! Boy she started stuttering and sweating and apologizing then!! Walgreens get your staff together!!
