honestly i never write a review for a drug store, but this walgreens needs to up their game up for real. i'm waiting on this empty walgreens to open the lock in their beauty department which took a while, and when i asked the filipina cashier is anyone else working today beside her, she just looked at me and said nothing? like im asking cause im on a time crunch im not gonna wait 10 mins in an empty store. a simple answer would've been, "hi ma'am, someone will be with you in just a moment let me call someone over." cherry on top, she gives absolutely no energy worse vibes possible, but when a male coworkers there she's super chirpy and happy. walgreens i hope you train her on what customer service should look like. read more

All I have to say is 5+ stars for Aaron! He helped me over the phone to place an order for a poster board when I was super stressed out. I really needed a welcome sign for a party this weekend. I had been told the paper board was out of stock nationwide, but Aaron went above and beyond to assist me. He was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding throughout the entire process. Honestly, it feels rare these days to come across someone who genuinely wants to help, most people might've just said, "Sorry, we can't do it," and moved on. But not Aaron. This review is strictly for this particular Walgreens' Photo Department. Procrastination always gets the best of me and planning for a 2021 Christmas photo sesh with Santa was no different. I was able to squeeze in an appointment this past Monday and immediately rushed into options regarding personalized holiday cards. It goes without saying that I was in need of something made @ lightning speeds so I can get them dropped off & mailed out. I decided to go ahead with Walgreens online photo options and uploaded my image. The entire process went super smoothly and I opted to have my order done with it's one-hour photo option. FYI- the whole idea of your order being done and ready for pick up within the estimated time & the 1hr timeframe is an absolute FRAUD!! Don't hold your breath for that email or the text that will alert you of your fulfilled order- neither was ever received. Don't bother wasting your time calling to check the status of your order because not a single employee nor department will answer your call. & I am DEADA** SERIOUS. Now with that fully disclosed, I blindly showed up to the photo department and was excited to hear my order was finished. The unfortunate thing was my holiday cards looking completely different from what the sample online showed due to the overly muted colors. I was not happy!! I huffed and puffed and then decided the order wouldn't be sent out and will most likely end up in the trash. I was literally heartbroken since I had this whole plan imagined and it was a complete fail! Fast Forward: My man personally reaches out to someone from the photo department and explained the whole situation. He asked if we could exchange the initial online order for a different item and go from there. The employee helped place a new order and advised hubby to discuss with the department manager about the exchange. 5/5 stars and I would happily give them more. You guys saved our 2021 holiday greeting cards and provided such understanding, friendly, and great customer service. I will be recommending Walgreens Photo to everyone and will most definitely be using their services again!! read more

Last two-three weeks I ordered my prescription. That day of the pharmacist says, she would text me to let me know it be ready and would be able to do future orders. I thought wow awesome, I was excited about that. I got so busy I almost forgot about my prescription, trusting they be letting me know when it's ready. Unfortunately I didn't receive a text, only to come back and discover that my prescription is past due and could not get it refilled, and that she will be calling the doctor to reinstate the order and get back to me . Few days passes , I didn't receive a call nor text. So, I see on my prescription box that I have till 9/2026 i go back to show them the date on my prescription box, that I can refill. unfortunately I miss understand, i got till that date to return for refill, Goodness! The awful thing they probably didn't even call the doctor so I can get my prescription, the least they can do is call me to explain or pardon themselves letting me know they get back to me as soon as they can. Being I'm in need of my prescription I had to go do this myself, went to see my doctor today, he'll be calling me back sometime today. Walgreens/McKee....Terrible service, disappointing. I won't be returning. Will be going to another pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions. I'll Miss having to go through the drive through . . No stars !!! Walgreens, DO BETTER!!! Never in my years of coming here have I seen a technician purposely IGNORE customers!! Absolutely ridiculous, it is an older lady, she has long hair, glasses and just... WOW!! Does she know she works in customer service?? The whole time she acts like she can't see you and the line of about 20 people!! Avoids eye contact, doesn't smile at all. Honestly seems miserable. These are elderly people, like my mother who are being neglected!! She needs to retire, because all the other regular staff here are EXCELLENT. I used to get my medicine at story road but they closed and I had to get my medicines at this store. I don't know why Walgreens had to close the story road store? That location was the best. The workers there at story road and king are really good and hard workers and I never seen anyone there sitting on the chair. There is this chick at this king and mckee store who was just sitting on her chair the whole time even though we have been waiting in line. Her name is Gina, I think. She was not at the original store I go to and I don't know who she is but she was just sitting the whole time I was there. She is so lazy. I have been to a lot of Walgreens and this is my first time at this location. The store hours posted is closing at 10pm. It is 9:30pm when I got there but they already closed. I waved at the lady inside who is one of the employees but she just looked at me and shook her head as like saying nope we're closed. I pointed at my watch and then pointed at the posted store hours but she just ignored me the 2nd time. There's 4 customers that came knocking on the door only to turn around wondering and confused like me why they were already closed . I googled for the closest Walgreens there were 3 close by but I decided to come here only to realize they are now closed . This is a terrible customer service. I even use their pharmacy but at another place . This Walgreens by 1661 McKee Rd is terrible and there's a bunch of camped homeless people on the facility's side part. This is strictly on my experience at the pharmacy. We arrived at 1:50 PM for a shot and filled out all the paper by 2:03. It's currently 2:38 PM and I'm still waiting for the shot while everyone who was waiting behind me got the shot and left already. I tried speaking to someone at the front desk and she just told me she already told the person who's handling the shots and she has no control on the order she takes. I would hope for the front desk lady to do more than just keep telling me there's nothing she could do given that it was obvious that they were skipping our turn. I don't mind waiting but when they're not falling a standard/fair process in the order of arrival -- that's not acceptable. I've been to the other Walgreens before and have never seen something like this. There's need to be a standard procedure that these people need to follow. On a side note, one of the customers who got there way after us even came up to us and asked why we're still waiting and what we're waiting for. He was shocked to learn that we were waiting to get a shot as well. He got his shot already too when he was asked us. Anyway, what a horrendous experience! Customer service was terrible... read more

Arrived 15mins before my vaccine appt time at 9:30am. Have to wait until exactly 10:00am to get my shot which took less than 30sec to get done. Simply not organized in my view. Need to mention that the whole time i was waiting there were simply no one in front of me receiving vaccine. read more

My cheap lip gloss that I can't live without and use everyday is always in abundance. Parking is pretty easy. This location is easy reach from 101. Within the past 2 weeks pharmacy either "temporarily closed" or closed sooner than posted hours. Must be major short staff issues... It also took many phone calls to follow up from patients' end to trouble shoot problems. If i could give 0 stars or even negative stars i would. This pharmacy is a joke, multiple time they had messed up, cancel, neglected my medicine. I understand if they're busy, but if you're going to say something do it correctly but instead they choose to be unprofessional. I had an incident where this lady worker told me that if i'm not happy with how they are i should go somewhere else when i just voiced that my medication was wrong. i depend on these medication for LIFE. Multiple time i asked and kindly let them know that they made an error on my medication, and all i get as a response is an aggressive, unprofessional respond when it's obviously was their mistake. Not only that today, i had another incident where it was a guy working and i came to pick up my medication. He told me that it's not ready yet and that he'll text me when it's ready. Which was fine, i took my time and waited about 15-20 min just to received a text saying it got cancel?! When i asked him, he thought i asked to cancel my meds, why would i do that if i could have just done that over the phone or asked if my medication was ready to be picked up. This is ridiculous, ive been understanding and patient with the mistake but to deal with the rudeness and unprofessional remarks is unbelievably. Please GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION FOR A PICK UP! Unless you like receiving rude remarks about something that was THEIR mistake. Don't work there if you're just going to be upset and not owning up to your own mistake to sick people!!! Legit medication that they depend on a daily! I really didn't want to go to this Walgreens but it was the closest at the time being .Today is 11/13/21 .I was in line waiting to be called and when checking out he was in the left counter .He's Hispanic bald with Tatoo on his left neck .I went up to him and said how you doing today sir & repeated it twice with a sir .His response is how you doing today MAN and kept saying it with an attitude Man .I repeated it with sir to give him a point I'm showing respect towards him .And this guy looks really older than I am OMg .You can clearly see this guy has no customer service skills at all !Needs to be retrained especially working in the front !Checkout was 13:32pm today . This is very bad, low efficient and careless pharmacy! I changed my pharmacy location and request them prepare my prescription for me over a month ago. I got nothing back from them after that . Then I checked again two weeks ago, they said they built two profile for me accidentally and my prescription is not ready. They said they will set up text reminder for me. I still got nothing back from them after that. Today, I really need my medicine now, I called them, the lady who picked up the phone is rude！She asked some random questions about my profile. It seems like I just never learn my lesson or something because I keep going back to this Pharmacy. Probably because it's the closest Pharmacy to me and because it was convenient. Anyways, good service seems to be a problem here. Never once did I receive good service from this Pharmacy. Plus they are so slow! I understand Pharmacys can be busy, but it should not take three days for me to get my medicine every single time I'm sick. The first time when I chose this Pharmacy, I didn't know so right after I left my doctors, I went straight to the Pharmacy and they said that my prescription was not ready for pickup and that they will call me to notify me when it is ready! Usually, I'd get a call in about three days and two if I am lucky. Most of the time, it's about three days. It never really bothered me before since I wasn't all that ill, until last week. So last week, my throat wasn't feeling all that great so I went to see my doctor. I guess I had strept throat so he prescribed me antibiotics right away. This was my first time experiencing strept throat so I didn't know what to expect nor think that it wasn't all that serious. The next day, my condition got worse and I was still in so much pain. I felt horrible and had to take off work. The pharmacy still did not call. So the next day, I couldn't take it anymore and called them to ask if they could hurry up with my prescription. But apparently it was ready the morning of. NO ONE CALLED. I came to pick up my medicine right away and took it. A few hours later... my throat went back to normal. And wow, the pharmacy had the nerves to call me hours after I picked up my medication, that it was NOW READY!! I would have had to be in pain even longer. They are definitely not on top of things and sadly, i could have avoided all that pain if I had my medicine. It wasn't one of those things where it took awhile to heal. If I had my medicine, it would have went away in a few hours.... Overall, I would not recommend this pharmacy. If this pharmacy is convenient for you and you really don't mind waiting for a few days for medication or having to keep calling in, then sure. But, I would just avoid this pharmacy at all cost. Can I give less than 0 zero stars! Trying to get a prescription filled at a different Walgreens but this was the Walgreens it was sent to. So I called to ask them to TRANSFER the prescription never once did I say to DELETE my prescription. ANNA for some reason decided to delete my prescription from my records? Weird I didn't even know it was proper procedure to delete someone prescription! I spent over an hour trying to figure out why they didn't have record of the prescription and after I had confirmation from my DR. Finally I call back and the lady tells me ANNA deleted it from the record because she was confused on what I wanted to do. Why the hell would you delete someone's prescription if you are confused on what they want!? So thanks Anna! You're such a wonderful help! Making me waste over an hour of my time because YOU were confused. Had I not investigated it myself I would have had to wait another 24 hours before I could get my medicine. Which is just ridiculous. I took my 80 year old Mom to get her flu vaccine. Because of Covid 19 I called ahead to find out what would be the best time to take her as she not only has the age against her but she also has asthma. I was told the best time is between 1 and 4 PM because they have two pharmacists there. I took her at 1 PM. There was an older gentleman there already waiting. I told the clerk that we needed the vaccine and she gave me paperwork which I completed in 5 mins and returned to her. Well it took 45 minutes for my Mom to get the vaccine. When I complained I was told that there was a person in front of her. I told them she is 80 and high risk. They didn't care. They acted exactly like they did before Covid which is to make people wait around as they move like snails. Honestly they don't care or seem to be aware of Covid. Aren't they supposed to make sure that people are in and out as fast as possible. Aren't they supposed to follow the rules of Covid. Everywhere is having preventive measures. Not here!! This place is bad. I hope my Mom is ok. I wouldn't advise anyone of going there to take any vaccine at this time. read more

I think I'm dating a yuppie, because he called this area ghetto-I guess I'm ghetto phatbulous then. This place is in the heart and borderline of ghetto and middle class. I love the pharmacy because its basically 24 hours. However the wait can be long, and I'm not just talking about the line to drop off prescription, or the line to get help. I'm talking about the line for EVERYTHING-pickups, drop offs, questions, and check out. You probably got lucky if you got out of there quick. It is in the same plaza as Mi Pueblo, Wells Fargo and Ross (closed down Toys R Us). Watch out for bikers/pedestrians they like to take their time or pop out of no where at times, same thing with the drivers. Their "after holiday-50% off" candies are usually the best deals. Like tonight I scored 4 bags of Andes Peppermint Crunch for $1.74/bag-super yummy and freshens your breath! HUGEE variety of dental care/hygiene products. I picked up some breathRX products after using the mouthwash from the dental office I goto. However these products are pretty expensive IMO $10.99 a bottle of mouth wash-are you freaking kidding me? WOW. Of course I'll come back here-this was where I found my holiday fuzzy toe socks last year. read more
