Man does this place need a facelift. It's not dirty or anything like that. Just old and very small... try not to go here for anything but basics, if necessary. The parking lot is also a bit hazardous. Tiny spaces and difficult to see who is coming if a large car is next to you. read more

This is a clean and well maintained store, the staff is friendly and helpful. They had exactly what I was looking for and it took me next to no time to find it with the helpful staff working this day. This is really for the pharmacy more than anything else. I have been using this pharmacy now for 3 years and I'm not really sure why I continue coming here. This past time trying to get a critical prescription filled was a nightmare. First they told me my insurance didn't cover it and instead of contacting my doctors office or even calling me to tell me (I had to call THEM because it was taking over a week to fill it) they just canceled the prescription altogether. So I called them again, this time was told they needed a prior authorization. No problem. So I called my doctors office (did the pharmacy's job for them). I called the next day, after my doctor submitted the prior authorization, and was told that this was not true, they did not need a prior authorization and it simply was not covered. Not reliable, not trustworthy and certainly not open an honest. I'm switching immediately. read more

This place is awful! I've been to this location 4 times for baby formula ( in the locked case) and no joke, it takes a 1/2 hour to get the formula. But today was worse. I waited with my husband to get formula and we waited for 25 mins, then the staff tells us they don't have the keys???!! Are u serious? I understand locking them up keeps the products protected from theft but ur losing sales including my whole cart full of stuff. They need to get it together! read more

What a horrible store. I gave it one star because it was open. I went in to purchase some school supplies for my grandson, but we wanted to use the restroom first. After wandering around the store looking for any employee, the only employee we found was the cashier by the front door, who had a very long line and kept shouting, "I see 3! I see 3!!" She very clearly had been completely abandoned by her management, so we moved along. Eventually, I found the bathroom, but you need the magical secret code to get in. A sign by the door said, "Please knock on Pharmacy window." I knocked on the pharmacy window, and both the pharmacist and the tech looked at me and looked away. I can only assume that they were incredibly busy helping the one person at their counter. I waited half a minute and knocked again and they looked at me and ignored me again, so I went back into the store and looked for an employee again, and there were still no employees on the floor except the poor cashier, who was still shouting, "I see 3! I see 3!!" My grandson and I decided to go somewhere where the store would appreciate our business, but it was hot and he was thirsty so we stopped to grab a Diet Coke from the cooler. Unfortunately for him, the cooler wasn't even remotely cool, so we left. I don't know who manages this store, but I'd like to suggest some additional training in the areas of customer service and food preservation. And maybe it shouldn't be the pharmacist's job to let people into the bathroom. read more

Horrible customer service, asked an associate if they provide the wester Union service, she just stated use the kiosk and pointed me at the photo area section. I got there and there were 4 computers none of them said anything about the western union service. Wow I was like you got to be kidding me, finally another associate showed up and I asked her for help and told me to use any of the touch screen computers and asked me the amount of money I was waiting for, I told her the amount and she replied that just wanted to make sure they had enough money to finalize the transaction, then immediately started to tell me that I should go to Safeway cause the process was way faster than her computers, once again I was impressed how she was addressing me to go to a different business, I thank her and stated that it was fine since I was already in the store, here the main issue started to create account entered all my information code and personal information to collect the money and booiomm got a message that the location I was wasn't authorize to cash out the amount. Are you kidding me? I even ask before start the transaction, I guess that's what make the difference between real customer service and a bunch of people that don't really care about even learn what is possible or not Inside the store. The first time I went in here I was only buying one thing. I bought the Walgreens brand item and went to the counter. There was only one counter open and 8 people in line. After waiting way too long, I paid for my item and as I was leaving thought they may have overcharged me. I went back to the shelve and sure enough the product was marked $3.49 and they charged me $3.99. If this happened on one product the first time there I can only imagine how many other items are mis-marked. If you go here check your receipt carefully. read more

Is it possible to go negative with a review? If so, then this store has got to be the center for providing the worse customer service in the history of mankind. I ordered two things from this store at the corner of Union and Curtner Avenues. I got half of my order. I used their online tool because I couldn't leave my very sick husband and go over to the store. When I called, some immature, nasty young lady told me that the only way to fix this problem was for me to come to the store and either pick up my items or get a refund. I explained to her that I couldn't go to the store because of my husband's situation and I wanted to avoid going to the store in the first place. Then she proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and she said she didn't want to talk to me because of my "attitude", and put me on hold for 25 minutes before a "manager" got on the line. I explained the whole situation to him and then he proceeded to absolve himself at least 5 times and kept blaming DoorDash for not picking up my whole order. He said that it wasn't his fault and again for me to come into the store, and he hung up on me. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR! I'm taking my business to CVS from now on. I also sent an email to Walgreen's corporate office regarding this situation. read more

My Dr. wrote me an Rx and I had to run and pick it up at her office. I chose to fill my Rx at this pharmacy because it was close to her office and I was heading to a business meeting so I needed to get my script filled fast. I go into the pharmacy and some guy named Tak is working. He looks at my script and goes your Dr. didn't put a date on this script I cannot fill it. I was like are you sure you can't just call and get approval? He says in a monotone voice " I am sorry, I am just as frustrated as you are." I could tell he wasn't going to budge so I take the script and drive back to my Dr office and I swear the receptionist puts the date on the script and hands it back to me. The receptionist! So how important can a date be on a script I ask you that he couldn't of called and asked!! So get this! I drive back to the same pharmacy and ask Tak "can you fill the script now?" He goes to the back and then says I am sorry but I don't have this medication in stock!!!! You have got to be kidding me! Then, you guessed it he says to me " I am just as frustrated as you!" Are you really? Cause I don't think that you just drove back and forth to your Drs office for no reason the to be told you couldn't be helped! This place is a joke of a pharmacy! This is the worst. I feel bad for the assistants that help the pharmacist. The actual pharmacists that work there are the so inconsiderate and rude. Your job is filling prescriptions...why do you act like it is the most inconvenient thing to do and find ANY reason to not fill it. I understand the craziness of addicts attempting to get their medication when it comes to those highly addictive opiates. They are just a horrific staff of pharmacist. I've been using the Walgreens on meridian forever and they are great. I was reminded tonight why I always drive a little further away to use the meridian location. The female pharmacist was rude and useless. I am guessing she is the reason behind all the horrific reviews. She just made up a reason to not fill my prescription. A prescription that has been written the same way for 2 years and filled at other pharmacy's and filled at her location as well. This was my first time dealing with her face to face. The reviews speak for themselves about this place. These reviews mean nothing with a corporation as big as Walgreens. All I am saying is these idiots have no business handling sick patients medication. read more

If I could only give this place zero stars I would. I ordered photo prints online and received an email to pick them up at 1:14. I got to the store at 1:20 expecting my prints to be ready. First of, no one was at the photo counter. I waited for more than5 minutes until Bonnie came out to help me. In those five minutes I noticed a dirty tissue that had just been left there (nasty). She came out of the back and didn't even greet me, she just looked at me as if I had interrupted her break or something. I told her I came to pick up my prints. Turned out nobody had checked on my order and the prints were not ready. I asked her how long it would take until my photos were ready and she ignored me. I asked her a second time and she replied with another question very rudely. She asked for my confirmation number so I gave it to her. I had to ask her a THIRD time how long it would take. She finally answered and said she didn't know. It was almost 1:40 until I decide to take my order somewhere else. Never going back to that Walgreens again. read more

After being admitted to the hospital and enduring surgery, constant pokes from needles, dealing with grumpy nurses and not feeling well the best news you can have is that you're okay to go home. The only thing I can think about now is going straight to the pharmacy for my pain medication and afterwards home to rest and recover. The pharmacy was not helpful or fast at all. I was told not to wait around for the prescription to be filled because the have to verify with the hospital first. An hour later I called to check the status of my medication and was told that the couldn't get thru so they sent a fax and we're waiting for a response. A couple of hours later I called the doctor and cleared things up(pharmacys job) and show up at Walgreens with my discharge paperwork in my hands. They started to "work on it". Did the hospital call and clarify the RX I ask? No response. What was all the hassle for? The waiting and driving back and forth for? Please Walgreens pharmacy staff and pharmacist, have some compassion for the patients filling their prescriptions. You have no clue what they might just have experienced and majority of the patients are ill or not feeling good and just want their medication so they can start their road to recovery. read more

I really love coming here and I've never had a problem until today. They were training new people and I've worked in retail for a while and I understand everyone is human and makes mistakes. But it wasn't the trainee who made this experience awkward, it was the trainer. It was buy one get one free and I ended up not getting the free item because all of a sudden my rewards phone number didn't work. So the lady training the new girl asked me to keep typing in my reward number. I typed in the same number FIVE TIMES and each time the lady said it wasn't coming up. So on the sixth try, it finally worked. My girlfriend next to me laughed and said, "That's weird she's typed in the same number everytime,I've been watching her!" And the lady trainer goes, "Oh no, she's been typing it in wrong." Uhm, excuse me?! I think I know my phone number! I literally had just been there yesterday and used that same number. Usually the cashiers here are great and helpful just this time really ticked me off. Even if it is the costumers fault you never want to point a finger at them. And especially if the costumer is right don't try covering your dumb butt by blaming them. I had a person next to me watching me type in the same number over and over. This one awkward experience really makes it hard to come shop here again. read more
