I recently did online order here and honestly they need to check Id for the orders made I was picking up an order for a family member authorized before hand but not asked to show my id. I'm curious as to why any business would not ask to see that in today's day and age fraud, identity theft etc as a precautionary measure. I love they're products, but would not like to have to prove which takes sometimes a really long time depending on the business to prove it was not picked up by correct person or authorized person because they don't ask to see id no matter what then the customer is only one suffering loss unless store is willing to re do your order and not charge again to do so so five stars for the things I ordered. As far the safety being being a shopper at this mall it has gone way down hill and paying to park and very little parking doesn't help either. That's why having uber or door dash do drop off orders may be a safer option just my opinion read more

I had a coupon I needed to use before it expired, so I stopped by to see what I could find. They had really beautiful displays of their new scents as well as holiday items. My coupon was for a free travel size item. I was looking for a body cream with a fruity scent. I asked for help for what I was looking for. I was directed towards the checkout where they a variety of travel size beauty items. Unfortunately I all the scents in that area were more floral. I'm not big on floral scents. Before I left I found the Christmas lotion section and they happened to have the candy apple body cream in a travel size. So that's what I chose. I went to the checkout line and got my item for free with my coupon. I'm sure I'll be back before Christmas to look for gifts. read more

What should have been a 10 minute errand turned into an excruciating hour. Here's what went well: I placed my order online and scheduled my lunch hour for later so I could quickly pick it up at the store. As expected, traffic was light and I immediately found a parking spot close by. I entered the store and there was one person being helped at the register and one person waiting in line. So far so good. There were at least 3 employees working this day and time: one was at the register, one was in the back and one was on the phone. The register employee needed to ask the phone employee something but didnt want to interrupt so everyone was waiting. Meanwhile a long line started to form behind me. The second employee came out from the back and started helping and then it was my turn. When I stated I had an online pickup, I was told that I should step aside and someone would help me once the entire line had been helped. What?!? Grrr. When I was eventually helped, they couldn't find my order. This involved asking me multiple times for various information and getting other employees to help. Eventually they found it but by then I had spent an hour on my 10 minute errand. Thank goodness parking was free for first 2 hours! This is why store retail is dying. read more

It's always so busy and messy at this location but that's given considering it's in the biggest mall of the area. I love all the different scents of soaps, lotion, body mist, etc. I caved in and got a pocketbac hand sanitizer as well as a glittery holder for it to attach to my purse. So cute! read more

She escorted me to the clearance table but my flavor was all sold out. Seeing my disappointment, Amanda asked me if I could wait a second and she would double check the back room for me. Good customer service is often led by good managers. Sadly, this store fails. I encountered the manager on the floor and she was not pleasant. Her tone and behavior were a huge turn off. The last time I was at this store was back in 2020, the very day before the mall was shut down for Covid. I stocked up hand sanitizer. So it's quick strange to be back here again with the store packed with shoppers. There's a good selection of soaps, lotions, candles, air fresheners, etc. Their store is well organized and neat. However, B&BW seem to be phasing out their gel soaps in favor of foam ones, which I'm a little bummed about. I prefer the gel soaps, but the selection is dwindling. Their return policy is pretty sweet too. They will allow you to exchange candles as long as they are less than 50% used for brand new candles! read more

Swung by Bath and Body Works to buy some body cream. I realized that they closed the original location of the store (on the first floor) and they moved temporarily to the second floor of Valley Fair (next to the Ann Taylor). It's a bit smaller in size but that did not diminish my experience! The employees were welcoming and the store had all the products I wanted. I was told that they will be moving to a more permanent location toward the end of July next to the Victoria's Secret! Also, I learned that they have reusable totes for purchase in store! P.S. The Semi Annual Sale is starting on June 3rd which will be full of great deals! read more

Bath & Body Works has a plethora of body lotions/creams, body washes/shower gels, hand soaps, candles, air fresheners and hand sanitizers. We stopped by this store at Valley Fair to check out their 75% off sale and see what new hand sanitizer scents are available. The tables featuring the big sale items seemed nearly picked clean. Maybe it is near the end of the sale period. They had some nice hand soaps. We picked up some of their hand sanitizers (PocketBacs). I like their small bottles with the slightly rounded edges because they fit nicely in purse or pocket (compared to the more "boxy" bottles). We have some of the hand sanitizer holders (PocketBac Holders) which come in some cute designs. I don't really use them as intended, hanging off of my purse, because they don't always hook on very well depending on which handbag I use. It's always fun to stop by this store and sniff everything. It doesn't take long to suffer from olfactory overload and then you can't smell anything at all anymore. It's nice to stop by here for gifts and stocking stuffers. This bath and body works location has consistently given me poor customer service. Most of the employees are in a bad mood, and a few are nice, but most of the girls are rude, making the shopping experience predominantly negative. Here are the names of the rude employees, starting with a manager named Gaby, followed by the associate Laronda. Loranda had a complete attitude at the order pick-up area. Loranda handed me a damaged item. The item I was picking spilled all over the bag you can clearly see a spilled liquid through a paper bag, and Loranda handed it to me like it was okay until I pointed it out. She got bothered and never apologized for the inconvenience. Additionally, at a separate time, another black young woman walked away while she was in the middle of a transaction with me without telling me she was abandoning the transaction. Incredibly unprofessional. Also, every time I attempt to use a promo, there is always an issue. The employees seem to be trained to tell customers no instead of trying to assist them. This is terrible. But the worst interaction was with Gaby, a manager who refused to remedy a transaction from another store even though I had a paper receipt and the transaction from the other store had been done prior. Instead, Gaby laughed at me outloud in a ridiculing way, questioned me on why i didnt notice the mistake on the receipt, and told me to drive to the other location even though it was far for me to remedy the situation. She unwilling to fix the issue and quickly blamed other employees. You can tell she didnt want to do it; I don't know how they treat customers so poorly, but it is not okay. There is no doubt there is a flaw in how employees here are being coached and trained and it seems the store manager is not taking steps to address the poor customer service. I recommend contacting customer service if you are mistreated. read more

My first in a mall in over a year! I came here it pick up some last-minute gifts for a birthday. The staff was super helpful. They have the process done pat on how this works during Covid. Use the gel to get a whiff of the smell...pump the bottle a few times...bring it to the top of the mask. Worked like a charm. read more

Was at the mall today, wasn't expected them to have any hand sanitizer left but wanted to ask anyway. Surprisingly, they did have them in store! The employees there were all very nice and friendly. One showed me where the sanitizers were, one explained that we could only buy up to 10 per household (only one favor, pocket sized). As I was walking out, I saw sink with hand washes. I asked if I could wash my hands, the employee even turned on the water for me. Also thanked me for stopping by as I left. I have never been this satisfied at a B&BW store before. FYI - This is for online orders during covid. Online ordering was easy! If you're lucky, you will time it right when they are having a ton a sales, which is quite often. They send you an email saying when your order can be picked up. This can be kind of tricky because the email just mentions that it is ready for pick up. I knew that the store was located on the 2nd floor, but the mall doors were all blocked off. Drove to the 1st floor in the pick up parking spots (letter B I believe). Called them. They were very busy! Whenever I called, the busy signal came on at least 5 or so times, but I always saw Bath and body works employees delivering to other cars. Don't give up!!! They will eventually pick up the phone! They were very friendly, asked if you prefer putting your order in the trunk or backseat and they told me that all I need to do is show my drivers license when they arrive with the driver window rolled up. Then pop the trunk/back seat door. I felt very safe picking up my order and they were very pleasant. read more

I also went to the store today 4/6/23, and it was closed and all the stuff inside was removed. There was no sign on the door as I'd expect, telling what happened (permanently closed, moved to new spot, etc). I left disappointed. Later I found out that they will eventually move next door to Victoria Secrets upstairs, but temporarily relocated next to Ann Taylor, across from See's Candies. A little peeved because I made a special trip to Valley Fair to buy something from Bath & Bodyworks specifically, and left without knowing they had moved. This review is strictly for the pickup services provided by this location. I placed an order online to pickup some candles and get it delivered to my car. When you arrive you call the location and let them know what spot you are in. I called 15 TIMES and kept getting a busy tone. I decided to leave and call it a day but I was passing back by the area and decided to try again and was able to get through. The staff on the phone was sweet. I did have to wait about 5-10 minutes for them to bring out my order. It's strictly a no contact pickup as you open your back window or your trunk. They validate your ID or confirmation email through the driver window. It's a very convenient and safe service. My only detractor was the fact that the first time I came their phone seemed to be having issues. read more

I love CO Bigelow Products. I really liked it when it was a mini Sephora and carried skincare from lots of other high end lines. Their candles from the White Barn Candle Co. were pretty good too... I like their anti bacterial line but the scents can be sickening sweet at times. I used to stock up on their anti bacterial stuff and the soaps whenever they had sales... when I moved back to San Jose and the moving company had 2 moving boxes of BBW stuff... The sales associates are are still hit or miss at this location since my last review. I'm the kind of shopper that doesn't need much assistance since I'm there to browse, but appreciates when someone is available if I have a question (like Sephora). Unfortunately, this store seems to hire (or enforce) an overly enthusiastic, "in your face" type of sales associate. When I walk in I don't really need to hear all about the new fragrances (I can read the 5 foot banner just fine), nor do I need to be followed around and asked multiple questions as I make my way through the store. On a side note, I do love the sink area that this store has where people can wash their hands! Daisy was awesome! While it seemed like she was on her own on the floor she was more than willing to help me find something I really liked. She asked me what kind of scents I like and we went from there. I came in to look but was able to get some stuff with their body care deal and hand soaps. When more people stepped in she'd let me know she'd be back to see what I liked which was super helpful since I had questions here and there. She made me feel super welcome and I appreciate it!
