    This location closes "at 10 pm." I drove like a crazy person to make it by 9:55 pm to find it all lit up, but locked up. Guy working inside casually ignored my presence. In the time it took for me to mean mug the employee, get my iPad out of my bag and snap the photo at 9:57, three additional customers arrived to make that last minute purchase. Gotta run?? Is there a Monday night concert or hot spot Santa Maria is keeping hush hush??? No? Then Do Your Job Bad Form Walgreens.

    Way too busy and wait times are not communicated appropriately. This has happened before at this Walgreens Pharmacy but I thought it would be different this time. When I received the automated call and the text update and went back to the counter after 45 minutes of waiting, the girl was going to make be go back in line. I just got an update and that my RX is ready. Then she rolled her eyes (literally) and went to look in the bin. She found it, checked me out...no "thank you, sorry for your wait time, appreciate your patience" or nothing! So very rude and disappointing. Also, no consultation offered for these 2 new medications.

    Pharmacy drive Thur should not be longer then 5- 10 mins per car it's the worst drive Thur pharmacy so far!!!

    Very slow service. Absolutely hate coming here for my prescriptions. Always in drive thru line a minimum of 30 minutes.

Today I went in to pick up my prescriptions, when I went to pick up I saw there was a new pharmacist, Quyen L. Nguyen. Instantly it was a hostile experience from the beginning and once I picked up my medication, she did not ask if I needed anything else or if I was picking up for anyone else, she just was about to leave, that is when I told her I was actually here to pick up my moms medication as well, and I saw her be very exasperated about it. At the end of that transaction, she instantly left after handing my receipt. Even when I needed to pick up more medications for my grandparents. Before getting my grandparents prescriptions, I had 6 medications in my hands and was not even offered a bag. When I asked Nguyen for one, she just handed me one and didn't say anything. Very very rude and unprofessional, people may be going through the worst time of their lives picking up medications and when they get this experience it is just very unprofessional. I hope she is given some training on how to properly interact with others. I am very understanding with people working in customer service but there was no line, and no need to interact the way she did even if was busy, coming from a customer service, ex retail worker, and current healthcare worker.

We wanted to support a local business. I recently required several prescriptions postop for a knee replacement. There was some drama in that, whatever system JDX is using to process insurance claims was showing me as having no insurance (we called and confirmed with our prescription coverage that I do indeed have insurance). Even with that, we were willing to continue using JDX as cash payment customers. Last week, my surgeon called in a refill of my pain medication. They received the prescription on Tuesday, by the following Monday when I had not received notification that it had been filled, I called inquiring if they had received it. I was then told that the pharmacist needed to speak with my doctor. The girl on the phone stated they needed some more information since I was not an established customer (they had just filled four of my prescriptions five weeks earlier). About 20 minutes later I received a phone call from the pharmacist, grilling me about why I needed this medication (mind you, this was the exact same prescription they had given me five weeks earlier, with no questions asked ). Understanding that it is a narcotic and a controlled substance, I was happy to answer all of his questions. Then he wanted more detail on a known allergy to a similar pain medication that I used several decades ago. Then he wanted to know if I use another pharmacy... I explained that we have an online pharmacy that I use for maintenance medications in which I received a 90 day supply. Our intention has always been to use JDX for those incidental, short term prescriptions that we need from our doctors (we have used this same set-up with other pharmacies, with no issue). He asked why I did not have this prescription for my pain mediation filled online, I explained that I did not need a 90 day supply, and we wanted to fill it locally. The pharmacist then informed me that I needed to either switch all of my medications over to JDX, including the online prescriptions, or not use JDX at all. We opted to discontinue using JDX and will be transferring all of our prescriptions to another local pharmacy. This has been a very disappointing experience.

I asked about another supplier & was told she didn't know & I could call them. Needless to say, they didn't score any points with me!
