Today I went in to pick up my prescriptions, when I went to pick up I saw there was a new pharmacist, Quyen L. Nguyen. Instantly it was a hostile experience from the beginning and once I picked up my medication, she did not ask if I needed anything else or if I was picking up for anyone else, she just was about to leave, that is when I told her I was actually here to pick up my moms medication as well, and I saw her be very exasperated about it. At the end of that transaction, she instantly left after handing my receipt. Even when I needed to pick up more medications for my grandparents. Before getting my grandparents prescriptions, I had 6 medications in my hands and was not even offered a bag. When I asked Nguyen for one, she just handed me one and didn't say anything. Very very rude and unprofessional, people may be going through the worst time of their lives picking up medications and when they get this experience it is just very unprofessional. I hope she is given some training on how to properly interact with others. I am very understanding with people working in customer service but there was no line, and no need to interact the way she did even if was busy, coming from a customer service, ex retail worker, and current healthcare worker.

When I entered I was 12th in the ice cream line. Super nice employee, apologized profusely for something that isn't his fault. One person was missing from their shift which means they only had two staff scheduled. Get it together Rite Aid, your employees don't deserve this. They also don't deserve to be written up for not ringing people up in a timely manner when they are only one person.

My Dr noted on the script not to fill with 2 very specific brands of Generics which actually make my situation worse. Well they filled it with the worst of these two. I talked to the pharmacist and he basically told me he has to except what comes from the warehouse and there was nothing he could do Which I find difficult to believe. He then told me I was going have to find a new pharmacy. I was not rude in anyway but really not happy. Now I need to jump though hoops to find a new pharmacy and have my Dr send the script there. This is a medication I require daily but can not pick until 30 days have past. So hopefully I will not be hospitalized or worse before I can make it happen.

Last time I forgot it while out of town, I was able to buy one at CVS. So naturally, I went to CVS in Solvang but to my surprise they did not have any form of a wrist brace. So my only option now was Rite Aide. I was crossing my fingers they had one. It was about 8:00pm on a Saturday and when I walked in the store was empty and a clerk was stocking merchandise. She greeted me immediately and asked if she could help me find anything. I told her what I was looking for and she confirmed they did carry the item and she led me to the shelf. She even looked over the options to find the one most like the one I described. I was so excited they had it! It was a bit pricier than I paid on my last purchase for it but I was just happy they had it in stock. It was such a huge relief to know I could sleep that night.
