I'm in shock at how the pharmacy responded to what could have become an emergency situation. Daniela "Danny" was helpful at first. When we returned the pharmacy was about to close but we were there by 7:55 with a person in front of us as she was leaving she said "these people don't care". We stepped up at 8:01pm with the pharmacy manager Diem Kim walking away with no attention given to the situation as she said we're closed! Then Danny became very sarcastic almost in a laughing manner "have a great night sir" as she lowered the gate and turned away! We were purchasing medication to prevent blood clots and they were very aware of our predicament we were in. We are changing pharmacies as soon as possible! Somehow, I ended up at this particular location and Dawn assisted me today. She made sure I received my points and reminded me to not forget to have others do the same. Waited fot 50 minutes after our so-called appointment for covid booster with my wife. Pharmacy tech handled a few customers but pharmacist who has to do the shot just keept counting pills. Totally unprofessional. We got here on time but that does not seem to matter to the pharmacist, Sholanda Jones. When asked about the delay, Sholanda blamed short staffing and computer problems. Perhaps so, but it did not look that way from where I was sitting and sitting and sitting. Your mileage may vary, but from my point of view this Walgreens just stole a part of my life I will never get back. Completely unimpressed with my experience. I ordered a canvas this afternoon and at checkout it stated it would be ready at 5:45 p.m. I received a call from Walgreens at 6:45 p.m. notifying me they no longer have materials for that size canvas... an hour after it was supposed to be picked up. We said we would get a different size and they told us it would be ready in an hour. We arrived at 8 p.m. and they hadn't even started printing the canvas. We waited in the store for an hour and a half before it was even finished and ready to go. After the print was finished, the cashier realized the print was flawed and tried to conceal the defect just to get us out the door. When we noticed the defect they told me it would take another couple hours to finish. I can come around 11 p.m. and it was finally completed and of acceptable quality. Communication is lacking. THIS IS A LETTER MAILED TO Customer Relations, Walgreens Co., 108 Wilmot Road, MS #2002, Deerfield, IL 60015: You need to FIRE all in charge at your store located at 7304 Louetta Road in Spring, Texas. They seem to be OK with LONG LINES, both at the Car Window and Inside. The apparent Head Pharmacist is Stupid and HATES White People. The incoming Phone system is also Nuts and almost impossible to Navigate. I also get calls from the "auto-call system" claiming that a medicine is ready for pickup, but then find it is the wrong medicine, or that nothing was ready. I take four blood pressure meds, and they were all prescribed by the same doctor at the same time. But every time I go to pick them up, only three are ready - and they claim I must come back in 30 days for the NIFEdipine ER 24Hr. I told my doctor, and he said to "have them call me and I will straighten them out"! But the stupid, incompetent bums won't bother to make that call. This has been going on for 8 months now! EIGHT MONTHS!!! Today I went in to pick up that NIFEdipine, and had to wait 30 minutes for it to be filled. I was charged for a 90 day supply (90 pills), but when I got home, the Dumbo gave me only 30 Pills! The average customer comes in shaking their heads, and leave cursing! read more

SAVE YOUR TIME AND PATIENCE BY JUST GOING TO HEB PHARMACY NEXT DOOR!! I have use Walgreens pharmacy my whole life and this location is by far THE WORST I have ever dealt with. I've been going here for a year because it close to everything and I've been putting up with the shitty service but I just can't take it anymore. You're GUARANTEED TO wait 45+ minutes inside or in the drive through every.single.time. This final time I waited about 45 minutes in line, my insurance had called this pharmacy personally at 12pm that same day to confirm my prescription which they confirmed was all good and I could pick up. I ended up going around 7:00 pm to pick up and they informed me it still wasn't ready after waiting in a long wait line. Okay so another 15 mins sure. I wait and after 15 I get a text saying insurance issue. I go back up just for them to realize they don't even have the medication needed and only had a brand name available that would cost me $250+ my normal cost. I understand the poor girl trying to help me isn't completely at fault but Jesus why cant the pharmacist not figure this shit out especially when I was told my order was "ready" 7 Hours prior. This is just another of the many issues at this pharmacy and at this point you'd have better luck just going to the H‑E‑B pharmacy Next door. read more

Due to our experience with this location and the escalation of the issue we had due to their purposeful errors, and blatant misinformation they gave- we will be contacting the Texas insurance commission as well as the federal trade commission. Certain members of this locations pharmacy staff and manager Ahmed are incompetent and should not be handling patient information, nor filling prescriptions. My husbands RX faced a 4 week delay due to their incompetence & lack of concern. Staff here will ultimately submit prescriptions incorrectly to the insurance, and then blame the insurance for the denial. 4 weeks it took us to get ONE prescription filled- all bc of their incompetence, and lack of desire to help their customer. We had to do the legwork to uncover THEIR mistake- and the insurance explained fully it was due to the way it was incorrectly submitted. The only reason we had the RX sent here was bc no one else had the medication in stock, but we will NEVER return here. They outright lie to their customers stating they don't have something when they do, blame the insurance for their mistakes- and went as far as to say we could "only" fill our RX at one specific pharmacy (BCBS PPO plan) which was a lie- it was all submitted wrong by staff. They never offered to apologize when it was explained to them what happened, never took accountability for their error & were completely inconvenienced with their customers. We even spoke to the store manager Sherry who tried to help as much as she should- because Ahmed and his staff simply didn't care that it was their fault & made no attempt to right the wrong. They took it one step further when my husband picked up his prescription that was finally filled- and asked for his ID, but he was never asked for his ID when he picked up my same exact RX a few weeks prior. I went inside to inquire as to why they asked for his ID- and the manager Ahmed showed me the binder that names & RX into are taken down into- and I informed him that my information was never asked for when the same RX was picked up prior- he had no excuse other than to say it "should have been.". It was a HIPAA violation to expose that binder- I work in the medical field & informed him of his violation as to where he scoffed & downplayed his error. Protocols are not being followed, and they are cherry picking customers they feel are a "problem" to get information from -which is also discriminatory. We fully plan to contact the insurance trade commission & have this location investigated for violation of HIPAA & privacy practices violations. Avoid this place at all costs if you can. I'd rather go without medication than to give this place the business it doesn't deserve with their horrific lack of customer service and patient care. read more

This is without a doubt the worst Walgreens in the history of Walgreens. They do not inform you when a medication is out of stock. They do not inform your doctor they will not help you find other pharmacies that have your medication. They just leave it in limbo without any notification. read more

It seems like the corporate heads who are actually in charge of the Walgreens have expertly established a system of cutting costs and hours for so many workers that it results in a incredibly shortened staff that is incredibly overworked. In which those employees get all the brunt of the disgruntled customers. I wish these complaints were reflected on those who are actively in control of the system and not the overworked employees. I actively hear customers complaining about the lack of proper management and staffing for their employees. Again I don't think the staff has a "lazy" or "disorganized" problem. Every time that you pick up a prescription, they call the pharmacy tech for a barcode and they're supposed to ask you if you have any questions about the prescription. I came in to pick up a RX today and Shalonda (the pharm tech) had to ask permission from one foot to move the other to give a barcode and didn't bother asking me if I had any questions. And when I asked for clarification she said to wait when she was clearly not busy. And she didn't even take the time to be courteous to explain medication. I get it. It's on the paper. But you can always do your job and ask. Or else what's the purpose of requesting a barcode from a pharmacist? read more

Conveniently located with ample parking, I usually hit up this Walgreens for several specific reasons: 1. Photo processing: The Walgreens website for photo submission and orders is easy. Choose an old or new album, upload your pictures, choose the ones you want printed and the quantity and check out. Choose your location and whether you want to pay online or in store. Enter a coupon code if you've got one. A snap. Deduction of a star on this one, though, because recently Walgreens requires you to have one of their cards to use their photo coupons (and I abhor those silly tracking cards) and sometimes pick up can be very slow. Quality of prints is very good, at least for the 4 x 6 option that I choose. Prints are cheap even without a coupon. 2. Children's medicine: For some reason other drug stores and grocery stores with pharmacy sections are limiting the choices for children's cold and allergy medications, making it difficult to find certain brands. Walgreens has a comprehensive selection of multiple brands, so if you know something works for you and you want to stick with it, you can find it here. 3. Certain specialty lotions: Palmer's Cocoa Butter is a staple in my house (great for reducing scars and for very dry skin) and I can't seem to find it anywhere else. Check out can be laboriously slow sometimes, though. Often only one lane will be open; if someone in front of you has multiple coupons or a redemption of some sort, that only slows the lane down even more. Also, now it seems that in order to get sale prices on any item advertised in their weekly circular, you must have a Walgreens card. Not a fan of those cards, so that's definitely going to limit what I purchase here. Reduction of a star for requiring people to be muscled into joining their "rewards" program. read more

I think this location is understaffed in the pharmacy. They should not allow you to schedule an appointment online for a flu shot, if they don't have the staff to administer the shot. I waited for 45 minutes and finally had to leave without a flu shot so I could get back to work. read more

I have had bad experiences with Walgreen's pharmacies in the past mainly cause the wait is always long on the phone and drive thru. However, today, a pharmacy tech named Dawn was special and she changed my mentality of Walgreen's. I've spoken to many pharmacy staff and she was the only one who took the time to explain, determine the cause, and process my son's medication requests in a timely manner. She even called me back to update me on the status. I never felt rush the whole time. She genuinely displayed interest in assisting and resolving my issue. These people can be so helpful and engaging. This store is also a "pick up" location for fed ex. Young lady actually loaded heavy packages in my vehicle. She did this of her own accord. This walgreens has to be my least favorite pharmacy. For starters I just moved to the area and was going to fill my prescriptions here. Upon arrival the pharmacist told me she didn't want to fill my prescriptions and I need to take it back to the other Walgreens I was using. At that point I told her I just moved to the area and it makes no since to drive across town to a different Walgreens when I live less than 2 miles from this one. Not to mention I been using Walgreens for over an year and she can see that in the system as well. I was then ask to prove I just moved to the area by showing my closing papers on my house. WHAT?!?! I have never heard of anything like this. Because of my injuries from being a professional athlete (now retired) I had to do this because I needed my prescriptions. At this point I starting to fill like they are treating me very disrespectfully. I showed my papers and then after all of that they finally gave me my prescriptions. Fast forward to yesterday when I went back to the same Walgreens since I went through the third degree surely I won't have another problem. I was WRONG. Not only was I ask about my address again but then the pharmacist said they may or may not be able to fill my prescription again and need to check the system. I then told her "ma'am I have been filling that same prescription for over a year from the same doctor. You also check my closing papers to my house to prove I live here. You can obviously see it in your system. She replied yes I can but the pharmacist has to check it. CHECK WHAT?!?! I understand there are guidelines to follow but there are different ways of handling it than making someone fill like they are less then what they really are. read more

I have used this pharmacy for years due to it's location and I usually do not have an issues with them except for the fact that they used to run out of some medication. However after repeatedly trying to refill my prescription and all I was told that my prescription was still not filled yet. I tried to call multiple times and each time I sat on the phone for 45 minutes (and trying EVERY department) while waiting just to speak to someone and never got through to anyone. They just simply never picked up each time. So I called the pharmacy on Kuykendahl and they informed me that prescription was closed and that I should have been notified. I am furious and will no longer be using this pharmacy for any medication. Seriously the worst service ever in the pharmacy. If you need your prescription filled go somewhere else. read more
