They were nice enough here. No one went out of their way to be kind, but then no one was rude either. I was filling a prescription for someone and was told it would be 1 to 1.5 hours, but it ended up being over a 2 hour wait. I was never sent a notification on my phone saying it was ready, but luckily I called the automated system often for an update. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AT THIS LOCATION! I parked my car in the parking lot at 8:35pm and walked in to pick up a prescription for someone (there was nothing out of the normal with my car at this time). After I picked up the prescription, I walked out to to my car at 8:50pm. As I approached it, I could hear air spilling out of my tire quite aggressively. I saw that my rear driver's side tire was flat, but I had a bad gut feeling, so I didn't investigate. I got in my car quickly, locked my doors, and drove away. I had this awful feeling that I was being targeted and I didn't want to be a victim of anything. When I took my car to Discount Tire the next day, they said they didn't find a nail (like I was hoping). The tire had been stabbed on the side with a sharp object and the tire had to be replaced. I think I was definitely targeted in that parking lot. It was dark and I was by myself. I don't even want to think about what might have happened if I had stopped to investigate the tire. My first time coming here. They were so polite and friendly on the phone and the same in person when I went to pick up my prescription. I see the other reviews, so maybe I was just lucky! It's a good location though next to redwood road and near Macey's and SLCC. There are also fast food places nearby. read more

The young gal working at the pharmacy register today walked through the whole store without a mask on. And I was told you can't use your HSA to pay for Sudafed. Which is wrong. I'm an essential worker that's been pulling 50 hours a week since the beginning of the pandemic - wearing a mask the whole time. I get that it's inconvenient but get your ish together. I've been to this Walgreens several times on various occasions over the years. I've gotten passport photos here, I've bought random items, and used the pharmacy just today. The prices are always generally good, the store is always clean, the staff vary between friendly, polite, and that sense of politeness that comes from doing a job in an acceptable way even though they'd probably rather be somewhere else, but never rude or neglectful. Today, I filled a prescription at this location (because a snow plow crashed into me and this is where their company would pay for the prescription to be filled), and Cynthia at the pharmacy was very friendly, courteous, and professional. I waited maybe 15-20 minutes for my prescription, but that's also what I was quoted, so I expected that. Overall, it's a pretty okay place to go if you need to. read more

I went to the pharmacy today at 7pm to pick up a prescription for my son and to check on one for myself. I have never been treated so ugly in a pharmacy. I asked a question and the pharmacist, said I should have more left of what I needed filled! I explained that my dr. Increased my dose. The pharmacy at this location is inept, I went through the drive thru to pick up prescriptions, the cashiers asked my name and dob and then she was gone for 5 minutes came back with a bag of 4-5 prescriptions, told me I was out of refills on one prescription. At this point I'm telling her well that's not mine, finally she heard the right dob and I got my own prescriptions. What a mess every time I try them again. Worst !! read more

Every time I order pictures here they are never completed when they are supposed to be. It has been 3 times total. Last time I went in the photo printing machine needed something changed. The manager was telling a person who had never worked with the machine how to do it. I told them I was there to pick up my pictures. The girl struggled for 20 minutes while I stood there or would go up and down and isle and back. The manager knowing I was waiting still made the girl work it and would not help even knowing a customer had been waiting, I asked them to cancel my order and left. I feel bad for the girl employee. Continuing saga with Walgreens. This is not the first time there have been problems trying to fill prescriptions here. Talking with Pharmacist Thi Carter this morning she did not make an attempt to correct the problem or even treat me as a valued customer. When month after month there are errors in family's prescriptions when you go to pick them up you make a change. I think the root cause of the problem at this pharmacy is that they are understaffed which makes them harried and rude. I would recommend that customers look for a different option where they are treated as a valued customer month after month with accurate prescriptions that are at the right price. Always something wrong with a calculation in pricing. UPDATE - It was very freeing today to have my prescriptions completely transferred to a new pharmacy. It was ironic that clerk checking me out said that it was not the first Walgreen's customer that had been in transferring today. AND a prescription that I knew was being charged incorrectly at $9/month copay for a partial 15 day incomplete supply was a $1.35 tonight for a full 30 day supply It was a good move. read more

There is never a line when I come to the drive thru at this location and that is the biggest relief! This location isn't the closest pharmacy to my house but I have been using WALGREENS for a while and everything of mine is on file so It makes my life easier. Everyone who has ever helped me has been super sweet. I transitioned from blue cross insurance to cobra going through blue cross since I'm not with the company my insurance carrier was primarily through. It's been a pain because I have to pay full price for some scripts and then keep the receipt to get a reimbursement from my insurance. When I went this Sunday the lady working the drive thru was so helpful and had a coupon on file of ours or possibly in general that she was able to use on one of my prescriptions that I did need and it took it down by more than half. I felt appreciated and cared for as a human being and that can be hard to find in employees who are working jobs they aren't passionate about for cooperate companies. read more

After reading the reviews, all I can think is shame on them for keeping uncooperative Pharmacists. I actually had to call Goodrx and speak with the store manager to try to get her pharmacist to do his job and fill a prescription! This has happened at this store numerous times. What is it going to take to get it right because the other pharmacist is just as bad and even some of the techs! He had a temper tantrum right there in the store! He immediately put me on the defensive by saying he would do it this time but not to come back, because he wouldn't do it again! Why is he there again? That is the second Pharmacist from that store to say the same thing!(The other one is gone...) How professional! He even told me no other Walgreens would fill my script either! He was so juvenile I had to laugh. He turned beet red and had a tantrum! Why would a store keep a pharmacist that refuses to fill prescriptions? He obviously has a problem, both with being civil and with his temper, not to mention doing his JOB which, by the way is...um, filling prescriptions! The store manager had already spoken with him and told him to give it to me free because of the inconvenience he had already caused me and he still refused! He evidently has issues with authority too! We'll see what happens from here...But I have no intention of letting this go. There is no reason a store should suffer for this kind of ignorance. I'll be speaking with Corporate. UPDATE The store manager returned from her lunch, called me back and actually suggested that I come BACK AGAIN...for the Fifth Time...to try to get him to fill the script again! I said no thank you and asked for the name of someone that had the authority to actually get them to do their jobs...nicely. She gave me the number for a Direct TV Robocall! I had to laugh again. I am seeing a pattern here. If I can't get results from the two that I am waiting on for a call back from Corp., I will go higher. This is absurd. This is the kind of stuff the teenagers that worked for me did! Are Good Pharmacists really that in demand in Salt Lake? They all need retraining evidently...or replacement.
