Tonight September 17, 2025, my oldest daughter and I arrived at pharmacy to pickup a prescription for my great grandson 17 months that ER doctor called over about 8 to 8:30 PM. We got there at 9:24 PM. The pharmacy assistant said oh insurance something and pushed it through. They close at 10 PM. He has been running fevers that been from 101 to 103 for 3 days. The over-counter medication is only around 40% dose. My grandaughter been in ER about 3 times. She is single mom keep in mind and across town. So, we expected prescription to be ready. So, when we got there she said 20 minutes and there was 2 people ahead of us. You cannot wait at the window and told us go around the building. Inside closes at 8 PM. When we came back there was 4 cars ahead of us. We pulled up 10 on the button. Pharmacist would not help us proceeded to lock the window. We kept telling her it was for a baby. We were last person. Is it fair?? The Pharmacist said you can have it transferred to WALGREENS that opened 24 hrs! Well ger insurance does not do business with WALGREENS! Plus, we were told 2 people ahead and literally flood gates opened up with 4 cars not 2. Couple recommendations for CVS If this is the case hand out numbers to place in their windows so, those FIFO get helped! Also, maybe place a cone or have section we can park and wait. The baby has been really sick and not eating well at all and crying because of the illness. What happened to compassion in this world? I plan to call corporate in the morning and I have picture of irony person and witness hearing go to WALGREENS. 1 minute more come on! Plus, why was it not filled ahead since it was a hour gap. I went to cvs last night 7/23/2024 to pick up some prescriptions. When I parked, I noticed some vandalism on one of the handicap parking stalls. When it was reported to an employee, I was informed that they knew and reported it to management. They wouldn't allow us to clean it off or make it better. It's sickening that they allowed a slur against a gay person to be left there. Finally, I was able to clean it off in less than a minute with napkins and windex while being warned against it. This store would be an excellent place to open a pharmacy. They have one now but it is completely unstaffed. There were what appeared to be three staff doing things, but that was just for show. One additional staff was blankly roaming around with her hands in her pockets. The eight customers that were standing at the registers watching them, when I went in to pickup a prescription, were all obviously done with the show. Ten minutes later, after not a single customer helped, I walked out of store, without the very needed, and ready, prescription that got left at store because the walking dead were employed as store workers. Place needs a manager or a manger fired and a new one put in their place. Started good at first but has plummeted worse every time I have to get a presciption. Has now gotten to the point, that you can't get your prescriptions because the staff simply don't give a s***. If you can't get a presciption filled at a pharnacy due to complete failure of staffing, then why use that company or that store? read more

The rating is a 0 for this CVS location. I've waited an hour and 20 minutes on the phone and still couldn't get through to the pharmacist. They ended up hanging up on me. While I was on hold my husband called the actual CVS store and got a hold of someone. He asked them if there was anyone working at the pharmacy because we're still on hold for an hour already. Her response was, the wait time for the pharmacy can take up to an hour. I don't recommend this place to anyone. They're the worst!!!! Drive through windows sucks. I came in here today to buy an ankle brace for my husband. He's been in pain for over 2 weeks so we were looking for anything that might help. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by an associate by the name of Michael who was behind the front check out counter. He said "Welcome to CVS." And I greeted him back. He then asked me if I needed help finding anything, which I let him know I did. Michael gave me the exact aisle to head towards and the exact location as to where I could find the ankle brace and he was totally spot on!! It was right where he said it would be. I really appreciated his help. Even when I checked out, he asked me if I had a rewards card and was able to pull it up with my phone number which I totally forgot I had. That saved me some money and I even got a coupon to use the next time I came by. Great customer service and what a relief! Clean, modern, well stocked, easy to get to off the highway, and open late. I was probably literally close to death one night, and this was the only pharmacy in the area that was open. I must have looked like an absolute mess, but they unflinchingly helped me find the cold and flu medicine I needed to at least eek out a little sleep. Since we use CVS back home, and I'm a frequent traveler to SLC, I have coupons and have since stopped in for quick shopping when I'm in the West Valley area hunting for food. I am not really a drugstore grocery shopper, because the prices seem higher, but for convenience to run in and out, and if you have a coupon, then this CVS is good for that too! read more

Go here all the time when I need medications or a late night craving since they are open 24/7 CVS constantly offers coupons from 10%-30% off that are conveniently loaded to your CVS care card. They are always offering some kind of deal or sale on products if you purchase more than one and usually always have the colors or shades I need. I also like to come to this store for the pharmacy. They always try their best to be as quick as possible despite how busy it can be, and even have a drive through option. It surprises me that this place actually has good reviews. I scheduled an appointment to get my flu vaccine. Got there about 5-10 minutes before my appointment. I went in to check in, per the person who checked me in, "she was sorry but I had to wait because there were 3 people who showed up without an appointment." She even apologized because "I did have an appointment and they didn't!" I asked if I could go pick up my son and come back because I had scheduled my appointment to give me enough time to go pick him up from school. She said yes. I came back about 20 minutes later, checked in again with a different person. He said, "ok have a sit and they will be with you shortly." I waited again! I overheard the person who checked me in tell the pharmacist, "your appointment is back" and in a jokey voice he said, "what! I was about to leave." He came back and stated I wasn't on the system. That my appointment was somewhere else. I asked why didn't they tell me this since the 1st time I checked in. He didn't say a word. I asked if he could please give me the vaccine since I was already there and I really needed it. His response was, "no because we are extremely busy and we only give vaccines by appointment," even though 3 others were just seen without an appointment. This pharmacist was extremely rude and unprofessional. The only difference between the other people who were getting vaccinated and me was that I'm Hispanic and the other 3 were white. I am in the medical field and I would never treat someone the way this white bold guy treated me. If I could give negative stars I would. Would not recommend anyone if color going here! read more

Do Not use this pharmacy. I went in to get my medicine at around noon time but they told me it's not ready in 10 minutes so I went to wait in my car for about 30 minutes and went the drive thru and they told me they didn't have medicine until 3:00 p.m so I went back at 5:00 pm. And again they told me they won't have the medicine until the next day. I would not recommend this pharmacy. It's better for you to go to a different pharmacy. read more

This is a very nice sized CVS. There is plenty of parking available and is 24 hours. It's conveniently located next to places to eat, gas stations and Everest College. The service was fast and the clerks friendly. They have a little of everything including frozen items and cold drinks. We were waiting on hold for the pharmacy for 40 minutes. It was completely unacceptable for them to not even answer and acknowledge our call. I called the store to see if they would be able to tell me why were waiting for 40 minutes, and he just told me there is no way for him to tell me that, and that all he could do is transfer me back there, and wait. This location has a 24 hour pharmacy which is key for me. We are from out of town and the pharmacy went above and beyond to get my mom's medication from out of state. It did take a day or two but it was the effort that was made that was what makes all the difference. I will say that the store is awfully busy all the time so be sure to be patient. read more

I've only used this CVS location once and it was for a photo pickup, that said, the service was amazing. I had ordered a calendar and some photos online the day before and for some reason the photo order wasn't getting sent to the store so I had to resend it. I had already paid for it once online and was prepared to pay for it again in-store just to get the photos (it was only $5). But as soon as I told the front end staff what had happened they were very helpful and insisted that I didn't have to pay for it twice. THey would just go online and take care of it themselves. Added bonus, there was a Santa in the store and they were offering free 5x7 photos for kids. I don't have kids but it seemed like a nice gesture anyways. Ok so I had a script sent in around 10:30 a.m I got a text from my Dr. Office saying it was sent in. At 3:pm I still had no confirmation that it was received so I called to make sure. I was on hold for 45 min (3 different calls) no answer, so finally I called the front desk and told them what was happening. They transferred me back, 5 min later someone finally picked up. They told me to call back at 9:00 pm! JUST TO SEE IF SCRIPT WAS RECEIVED! BTW this was the 3rd script they lost. Very displeased, I needed the prescription asap. read more

I recently ordered a few things online from CVS. I was given an estimated delivery time for my items and continued to track my items. On Friday it said that it had been delivered. I had been at the location all day and knew for a fact that it had not. I contacted CVS after waiting 24 hours and they said there was nothing they could do and to contact the mail service. I did contact the mail service and they said the shipper (CVS) has to make a claim on the package and that I could not. CVS said that I would just have to dispute the charge with my bank then. Can you say horrible customer service? They weren't willing to make the claim so that I could get my package! Ridiculous! I guess I have to wait and see if my package shows up! He was running his ASS off, doing the best he could, and we still had to wait 2 hours for our prescription to be filled. My insurance wants me to use this pharmacy. When I do not refill an Rx that my Dr. does not want me to refill I get automated call after automated call. So I call the store to make it stop. I was told that if they remove my phone number they can never call me if there is a problem with a future Rx. Don't we all get enough annoying computer calls? I know I do. Remove my number. I'm really upset that there was further action taken, those are private photos and then gave them to a total stranger. I have had to take several different types of medication since elementary school. So needless to say I have been to every major pharmacy in UT. When I'm looking for a pharmacy to fill my meds I just usually go to whatever one I'm closest too. I always thought they were all pretty much the same. Today I was by CVS and got a couple of my meds filled. And I was absolutely blown away by the customer service. They seemed like they genuinely cared about me and they just wanted to help me and make sure I got my meds for the lowest price possible. Cvs wasn't even in the same ball park as the other pharmacies that I have been to before then. I really think I will never go back to any other pharmacy again. These people were super fast at getting my meds ready. They were extremely nice and helpful. It really made my day to go and pick up my meds and that the people there really genuinely cared about me and my health. I just wish I could have given them an extra credit star because I had such a good experience. I've never been the type of person who just goes to one pharmacy (even if it's a little further away) But I for sure came out of that store today to be a loyal CVS customer life. I just still am blown alway when I think of them compared to the other pharmacies around there. I have had a lot of bad experiences in pharmacies. The very first experience I had was at super saver. I have had pharmacy workers treat me so awful. Well that's never going to happen to me again because I will never go any where else for my meds from now on! Even if it's the furthest away. This pharmacy is a nightmare... They kept running a 30 day prescription as a 90 day prescription. Never once had it filled as a 90 day, doctor does not have it written as a 90 day, now that that's clear. I have a manufacturer discount card that says I'll never pay more than $25. The girl at the pharmacy kept telling me that I needed to read the fine print my cost is $75. I kept telling her I've never paid more than $25 ever. Asked if I could email the card... This is the only place in the entire world today that doesn't have an email BTW. They kept telling me that my insurance only covers this much... Why is it that my insurance covers less at a CVS pharmacy than a non CVS... Oh that's why because your running it wrong, but talking to me like I'm the idiot...Please understand this is my first time using my Caremark CVS coverage at a CVS pharmacy & it was the worst experience ever and I've dealt with Walmart pharmacy and my mother's medicare, seriously the worst. Even the pharmacist got on and said I've read the bottom of the website and it says it only covers so much.... But let's not pay attention to the huge sign on the website that says you'll never pay more than $25 per monthly prescription....
