This store is very clean, no long lines, customer service is awesome, employee's are very helpful and friendly.

I have been a customer of this Walgreens and its pharmacy since moving to the area in 2016. Over the years, it has consistently served as a valuable resource for the community. I have appreciated the opportunity to build genuine relationships with the staff, who have always been courteous, attentive, and committed to making each visit as pleasant as possible. My experiences with the pharmacy had been equally positive. The pharmacists were consistently kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic; always willing to take the time to address concerns with care and professionalism. In particular, Debbie's presence exemplified these qualities, and her recent retirement marks a noticeable loss. Unfortunately, my experience since her departure has been disappointing. During a recent visit, I interacted with Vincent, whose approach felt impersonal and dismissive. I was not acknowledged until I initiated contact at the window, and even after a pharmacy technician attempted to assist me, my concerns did not seem to be meaningfully addressed. Rather than demonstrating a willingness to help, Vincent conveyed a transactional attitude and suggested that pharmacists may simply choose how they wish to engage with patients; an approach that, in this case, felt lacking in both attentiveness and care. As a result of this experience, I will now be taking additional steps to ensure a more positive interaction in the future, including confirming staff availability before visiting. I've never been here before, but I like it. This Walgreens is located in an older part of Temple off Baseline and Hardy in a confined parking lot, but it's easily accessible and clean. The store is well stocked with a wide variety compared to my home location. I go to Walgreens specifically for their XOXO cat food with pumpkin gravy. My cats love it, and it occasionally goes on sale. The aisles are very narrow, so it's hard to fit more than one or two people, but it wasn't contested. For you're on the go looking for little items that you don't necessarily want to visit a bigger store for, this is a good place to stop. read more

PHARMACY!!!! I am experiencing right now and for the second time. Calling in my prescriptions. They will tell you told hold if it's 10-15 min left on there shift every time the phone ring on there end to take a customer off hold they pick it up and place it right back on hold until the time reaches it's 7p.m. Which is their closing time! It's Very unpleasant and unprofessional especially to those that are sick. This not the job to even play like that. If higher ups sees this review please investigate closing manger and employees working 4/2/26 because this is not the first time! read more

We had shopped at Walgreens from November 2004 through December 2013. There was a woman named Ms. Pat who used to work the register up front. I was there by myself from Minnesota, having given birth to my son, who has Special Needs. Ms. Pat, Ms. Alice, and the Pharmacy staff took such great care of us. You would think that they were our family. I will never forget them. We plan on returning to Tempe in a couple of years and have discovered that Ms. Pat isn't there anymore. We hope that wherever she is she is doing well. That place will never be the same without her there. read more

There is a lady at this store who is very loud and obnoxious. I don't know her name but all the workers know who I am talking about when I describe her. She has embarrassed me a couple times when I went to buy wine, she said in front of all the customers "yes, Sarah, I know you come every day to buy wine", which is not true. That was very disrespectful and your customers should not be subject to harassment by your employees. Please look into it. Horrible customer service. Not even sure how this became the site for my flu shot as I requested another site. So, I decided to just follow through. After a very long wait to get to the window I was asked to let others to go first, nope!!! Finished paper work and still have to wait. This location is not well organized or clean. I mean, it's a solid Walgreens. Right across the corner, so I can grab anything I need quickly. Store itself is quite organized and kept clean, so never any issue with finding items. Cashiers, especially the evening ones, are professional and courteous. Pharmacy does well too, with efficient movement of lines even during peak hours. Would give zero starts if I could. I'm definitely changing my $4K worth of scripts to another pharmacy. They are running some kind of scam at this location. Even though you decline patient counseling for scripts, they force you to speak to the pharmacist and the pharmacists mark that every patient accepted counseling. When I specifically told Debra Donnelly the pharmacist that I was declining counseling she got mad, marked yes for counseling even though I was rejecting counseling and told me to have a nice day. I bet they get paid based on how many people they give counseling to and that would be fraud. I would like corporate to investigate. read more

And the pharmacy here os great the woman in the Pharmacy is always so helpful and really cares about the community she serves. We're in a global pandemic. You want to let people walk around your store without masks and you don't want to stand up to them and kick them out . Your excuse to me Well we can't enforce it blah blah bl ah BS. Then you deserve the one star and people have the right to know that you're not going to enforce it So they can go somewhere else- despite your little paper copier print signs in your window. Even the crappy Walmart on southern has people bouncing people out like it's a club on Mill. Step up. This is why we haven't flattened the curve. It's a community effort. I think this particular Walgreen's is Great! First and foremost it's convenient for me because it's walking distance from my apartment. I've never gone in there and not gotten a kind smile or a friendly hello from the people employed there. The pharmacy is quick and courteous. It is clean and organized. this is only for the pharmacy, it sucks. it's like they dont want you to get your stuff. i ordered a script shipped to me since it takes forever for them to fill a prescription, weeks go by and nothing. i call customer service and they tell me oh, my medication can't be shipped so the order was cancelled. i got no notice about the cancellation and have been waiting on a necessary medication. its more expensive for me to transfer them to a different pharmacy but i'm going to do it anyways, i've wasted more than enough time trying to get my meds from this pharmacy. epitome of 'you have one job' read more

This Walgreens has the busiest parking lot ever no matter what time of day it is packed! Kind of weird as the store seems empty. It is a standard Walgreens but this one sells liquor. The store is old and run down, the staff seems a bit distant. I would never go out of my way to shop here, but it does get a pass for convenience. read more

I went to the pharmacy at 925 w baseline Tempe az for a Covid booster shot i had scheduled weeks in advance. I presented my insurance card and was asked for some RX and Bin #. I then called my insurance company who advised both me and the pharmacy that they needed to bill it under medical as it was 100% covered. The pharmacist refused to give me my booster shot after o asked several times on grounds that they needed " what they needed " . This is absolutely unacceptable. I walked away with no booster and wasted time off work I specifically took for this appointment I had scheduled weeks ahead although I have insurance and proof. read more

This store is ghetto in comparison to other Walgreens stores I have been in. The store is not the cleanest in my honest opinion. My review is for the pharmacy. I felt that she was rude when I called to ask about an old prescription. I felt that there was no genuine care for my request and felt like I was an inconvenience for asking questions or how she presented questions. This is usually my go-to spot for filling any Rx's (especially since my surgery), but I find their online ordering inconsistent. Sometimes I get a courtesy email alerting me that my Rx is ready for pick-up, sometimes not. Sometimes I will get an email via walgreens.com with pick-up info, sometimes nothing. I know it's not the stores fault, but it really does frustrate me overall. This location is decent but at times can appear cluttered and dusty. Customer service is okay too. read more

If you really can't get to any other location, then you can suck it up. But yeah, agree with what a lot of others say. The parking lot is nuts all the time and seems to be occupied only by people who have forgotten how to operate their car and get along in society. The inside is old and the employees clearly aren't happy to be there. I guess Walgreens just doesn't care about this store because it's in a poorer neighborhood, because it's the only one I can even think of that hasn't been renovated at all. Pros: Located on a convenient corner, well lit, courteous professional staff, well stocked, including food items as well as pharmacy. Cons: Parking lot is congested. Stopped in for a few things and wound up spending much more than planned. Good sales if you have a customer card. I went to the store at 925 W Baseline Road in Tempe, AZ, to purchase Zyrtec D. I showed the woman working there my ID when she asked for it. She asked me to remove my glasses and pull down my mask. The suggestion is inappropriate during this pandemic, and none of your other employees have ever asked me that. First, she asks me to expose my eyes to the Virus, then my nose and mouth! The act of touching my mask by "pulling it down" contaminates my hands now as well. I asked her if this was Walgreens policy to ask people to remove masks or if it was her personal policy since I had never been asked to do this before. After much back and forth, she refused to answer my question directly. She clearly lacked the critical thinking skills necessary to identify someone from an ID. She could have looked at my skin color, hair color, height, or weight. She could have asked me any of the facts only I would know in the ID to confirm my identity. read more
