The day of the cruise, her wheelchair battery would not charge. I went to Guest Service to request an electric wheelchair or scooter. We also requested a bed rail for my friend to hold onto to get in and out of bed. Celebrity doesn't offer bed rails and has no electric chairs or scooters unless ordered in advance. I quickly Googled emergency delivery of medical equipment, and Elmora popped up. I called, and Ben answered. I told him my predicament and asked if he could deliver to the cruise ship terminal. Ben was right on it and on his way immediately with a wheelchair and a bed rail. The gangway was to be taken from the ship at 3:20 PM, and Ben arrived at 2:50 PM. At first, security would not give me clearance to leave the ship, but the wonderful woman at guest services made it happen!!!! Thank you, Emma, at Celebrity Silhouette Guest Services!! Without Ben and Elmora, my friend would be sleeping in her non-functioning wheelchair for seven nights. I owe Ben a debt of gratitude for his quick help and kindness. He contacted me during the cruise to see how we were doing. That meant everything to my friend and me! Thank you, Ben, from the bottom of my heart!!!! PS The cost was so affordable, I was a bit shocked.

Through their efforts I am able to receive a very costly medication via a foundation at no charge. I live in northern NJ and Linden delivers my prescription at no charge. I recently experienced a problem where Medicare incorrectly billed that prescription. I was being charged a a very large amount of money. Through the efforts of Chee (a pharmacist and one of the owners) the incorrect charge was reversed and the medication was billed correctly. The entire staff is extremely considerate and efficient. Then after few minutes the pharmacist administer the vaccination swiftly with no hassle. She was willing to answer our queries regarding our future schedule for other vaccinations. However, over the years this location has missed a step or two. Items are (seemingly) not restocked as often, shelves could be more organized (it's not a mess, but sometimes you need an extra few moments to find what you need because it may not be where you expect). Also, almost every time I have gone in the past year there is a person outside asking for money. He is not aggressive, but I find it odd that a store would allow someone to become such a permanent fixture without trying to help him out somehow. The one thing I will say for this location is that the staff is always outstanding. This is only one of two Walgreens I have ever been to where employees have actually come up to ME to ask if I needed help. It happens so seldom my brain sort of freezes when it does because it's such an unusual experience! This is not my "go to" Walgreens, but in a pinch this location will do.

To my surprise, theirs are only one dollar more ($6), and delicious, too. I picked up a few other items on my way to the register. The store was moderately crowded, I didn't expect that on a holiday. But, it's the weekend so it also made sense. Tip: the parking lot can be a zoo any time or day of the week. Peruse the lanes carefully.
