No cash at 10:30 at night? I saw the 2.5 stars and thought it's Walgreens in Westport how bad could it be, and not 5 mins and they proved the system correct, "no cash we closed the registers " the store Closes at 11pm that's bad business when you can't spend cash!!! read more

This is absolutely the worst location for pharmacy services. They are slow and have incomplete and inadequate access to prescription products. We have been to this location for one particular rx 5 times. And have been turned away for one excuse or another. I'm going back to CVS. read more

I went in today for a COVID & Flu shot and the person checking me in had a huge problem sorting out my insurance. It turns out CVS processed the claim on an appointment that they cancelled became they were out of the vaccine. The Pharmacist was very helpful and called CVS pharmacy to cancel the prior claim. (Must have magic to actually get CVS to answer the phone!) Great customer service! read more

In my recent experience over the past 4 months, they seem to have addressed the problems other reviewers reported. The staff is professional and efficient. The pharmacy's location in the back corner of the store still means that when several people are waiting, there's not a lot of room, but my visits so far this year have been pleasant and easy. read more

Got Covid booster and they were very nice. MUCH BETTER than CVS Fairway Plaza on Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield. Went at 5pm and were the only ones there fora booster. Definitely recommend going here for a booster. read more

The worst. Pharmacy line is 12 people deep. There were 4 registers only 2 working. No customer service. After being told there is "one line for everything", waited 20 mins. Then told to go back to same window I went to first. Unapologetic and not courteous. The manager came to ring and said nothing to the long line, not even thanks for your patience. Understaffed and unfriendly. See from other reviews apparently this location is always this way. Walgreens, you need to take notice! read more

Got my Covid booster shot yesterday at Walgreen's Westport. Not a good experience. Though I made an appointment, had to wait a very long time, not enough chairs for all the people waiting, and no distancing in place at all. (I'm 83 and felt compelled to give my chair up to a woman on crutches). Also, I saw at least one person was temperature tested beforehand, but I was not. The nurse who administered the shot jabbed much harder and more painfully than any of my other Covid shots. Never had a vaccination like that one before!. I would not go back to Walgreens in Westport for a vaccination again. read more

Absolutely useless photo service. Ordered 4 hours ahead of time and when I got there, the woman at the photo booth says with attitude "We got the order, but it ain't gotten to us yet. Ain't nothin' I can do..." No customer service. No attempt to solve the problem. Just a lame, lazy excuse and complete indifference. Terrible, terrible, terrible. This place is literally the worst. I've been trying to reach the pharmacy on the phone for the last 4 days, and am yet to get a single person on the phone for even a second. It's almost like their automated system is designed to not connect you with a live person, and just leaves you on hold with this terrible message replaying about how someone will be with you shortly. News Flash, nobody ever comes to the phone. Not to mention 2 of the last 3 times I've gone in to pick up prescriptions they've had it messed up. Go to CVS, or anywhere else really. read more

The rudest experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. The employees are generally unfriendly, slow and rude. The pharmacist or the assistants never answer the telephone, even at not so popular hours. I had a prescription called in by a covering physician for my doctor and Walgreens never called me to tell me that it was ready, for two days. Because I did not hear from the pharmacy's automated system, I called the physician to get a replacement scrip, went to get the scrip, and then brought it to Walgreens. At that point I tried to speak to the pharmacist who totally ignored me and the rude little assistant yells at me to GET IN LINE. There was only 1 person in line, not waiting to speak to the pharmacist. Then when it was my turn the pharmacist "found" my scrip from two days earlier and threw the new scrip back at me. A most unprofessional woman. Never again will I go to Walgreens. read more

I have finally transferred my prescriptions to another drug store. This Walgreens pharmacy is understaffed, poorly managed, and dysfunctional. There people stand in the cramped back of the store not knowing where the line ends or forms. I stood there today for nearly fifteen minutes with seven or eight others and it was a disgruntled mess that while standing there I switched my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I miss the old Walgreens where Michael's now stands. Never going back to the lone Walgreens in Westport to get a prescription filled. read more

The pharmacy never picks up their phone. Every time I try I'm stuck on hold for over half an hour before I give up. This has happened so many times that I'm now fed up and switching to cvs. read more

Awful service over the phone - long hold times followed by a pharmacist who hangs up on you. I will be changing pharmacies.

The pharmacy staff and particularly the pharmacists are horrendous. They are incredible rude, slow and obnoxious. If you need an Rx, there are about 10 other choices within a 5 mile radius. read more
