The CVS near Willard Rd in Norwalk has an employee there a Black woman - she is the kindest most helpful employee. I have been living the life of Job [the one from the Old Testament Job 29-31] - she has shown me unmerited grace and compassion - she has been a human or is a human evidence that in this moment of time in my life where I am forced to walk alone - every entity designed to help has tried to convict me then walk away - unlike Job I will not blame God for I know He has a plan. read more

The short Indian woman with the glasses and black hair behind the counter was extremely rude. I was extremely nice asked how she was doing and was not rude to her. I didn't mind her rude tone in her voice because working with the public is a lot, I work in healthcare so I understand but I had my hand out for my receipt and she tossed it on the counter and walked away with her nose in the air. I've never had problem with cvs pharmacy every other tech behind the counter is amazing and nice. Wow, I've never met such rude Pharmacy employees in my life. General manager, Wyatt Palmer was especially rude.

I have read the reviews. The older ones are spot on .. the techs were minimum wage flunkies and it hurt customer service. But the last couple of years have been better. CVS apparently beefed up the tech staff -- they are all at least polite. The pharmacy is VERY busy and I think folks need to give the pharmacy staff a bit of a break. There are system problems. Notices go out that prescriptions are ready but they really are not. Very annoying. And I do keep hitting the half hour when the pharmacy closes for lunch. A staggered lunch schedule for the employees would be better. read more

Melinda the pharmacist was absolutely amazing! She took her time with to explain the meds I was picking up. She even showed me an over the counter med that may be helpful to use. Then I started to exit and forgot a question I had meant to ask and I waited she helped me again and fixed my CVS account because there were multiple accounts set up. I usually do not use this location but pleasantly by how amazing this visit was!!! read more

Do not buy gift cards from CVS. They sold us a $100 card to Lululemon and when we went to use it the card showed a zero balance. Neither CVS or Lululemon would refund us for our purchase. Basically robbed with zero accountability.I will never shop there again. read more

Dealt with a pharmacist, Melina F, who was apparently inept and did not know what she was doing or simply too lazy to do her job. Either way, completely unacceptable considering the role. She did not fill my prescription as instructed by the doctor. When I questioned it she said she would have to do it all over again and would not do so and the instructions she gave me to refill it in a week turned out to be wrong. When I returned and spoke with a different pharmacist he informed me that what she had told me was in fact incorrect and she would know that. Additionally, she not only could have dispensed the prescription correctly the first time but that they in fact have coupons she should have offered to offset the cost. When I asked if she didn't know or was too lazy he was clear that she would definitely know and his expression and smirk signaled agreement for the latter. My recommendation is steer clear of her and check with someone willing and able to do this sort of work correctly. read more

I have had so many problems with this pharmacy over the past few years. Even called corporate once because I was so upset. One time they told me that I had to call all of the CVS stores in Fairfield County to check stock of a particular drug that was critical during my husband's illness, then get the doctor to call a prescription into that pharmacy- very weird. However, the last few times I was in, things seemed to be much different. Looks like they have a new pharmacist and some new people who are very helpful and very friendly. Wow. The experience at the drive through pharmacy was horrible. 1) received text message my script was ready for pick up 2) went to pick up script; not available. 3) said I received a message, would you look again 4) they say your script must have been pick up someplace else. You can't get it here for 20 days 5) I tried to explain that it must have been out back on the shelf. They said no. Call your insurance company. We can't help you. Next. 6) called insurance company, they said it is def a mistake at cvs pharmacy. They need to reverse something 7) insurance company called cvs and had them fill the script 8) now waiting seemingly forever for my scrips. This has taken over an hour. 9) cvs never admitted to the mistake. Even when I asked them. Only drive through during covid. Guess they can do as they wish. This is by far the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. I have tried to get a prescription refilled for THREE WEEKS and I continue to get the runaround. My doctor called on more than one occasion and was told that this pharmacy "was working on my order" and every time I call, I get the voice mail - no one has called me back and I am literally about to run out of my medication. I just want to get a refill which should not be too difficult for a pharmacy! Totally annoyed by their lack of giving a damn!!!!! If I could give less than zero stars I would do so. I had no problem picking up my prescription. There seem to be many bad reviews for this pharmacy but I did not have the same experience.

I've been to other CVS stores in Norwalk and this is the best one by far. My reason for 5 stars is Winnie Halloway, Beauty Consultant. No matter how busy Winnie is, she always has time to answer my questions. Winnie has recommended several products that I've absolutely loved and her advice is spot on. I've used all the high end facial products in the big name department stores and even my dermatologist told me to save my money and use drug store moisturizers and serums. I've taken her advice and with Winnie's suggestions, I'm quite pleased with the results. On the evening of January 15, 2022 I was surrounded by Norwalk Police after being racially profiled by a CVS staff member . Officers were told an African American woman fitting my description was seen shop-lifting in their store. Upon investigation, the store manager (Milagros) claimed she wasn't sure if I was shop lifting. She also stated to Norwalk Police that I was taking things in and out of my coat pockets. The only items in my pockets were my gloves and phone. She also stated to police that I was seen taking things off shelves and wasn't sure if I paid for them. I checked out with a kind associate, he even sent me back to an isle to get an additional Lysol because it was buy one get one free. This entire ordeal was extremely unnecessary, traumatizing and has left me deeply and emotionally humiliated. I think it would be in the best interest of this company for Milagros to be released from her position. I pray this never happens to another person. read more

This pharmacy is literally so bad. I've been going there since I moved to Westport 9 yrs ago, the only reason I keep going is because they have a drive thru. They have made so many mistakes, they say they will have something filled , they don't. The pharmacists aren't knowledgeable. The techs are rude. They have told me 1 thing, and then when I go back, someone else says something different. I have had multiple multiple situations with them, and they literally don't care. Tonight I was there at 8pm to pick up a prescription that I called about at 9:03am that they said they would fill. It still wasn't ready when I got there. I waited in line for 20 min for this prescription of 26 pills ( because they didn't even have the 30) and it was something that they should have given me 2 days earlier with the other half of the prescription that they neglected to tell me they didn't have. They just stapled the bag up and handed it to me and I didn't realize until later. My Dr told me to get a high does flu shot , I went in and asked them about it, they said no problem just tell the pharmacist when you are getting it. I went back a month later during flu season to get it and they said, oh no we can't do that without a prescription from your Dr. So of course that took multiple phone calls over multiple days to get that accomplished. I have had to go to a different CVS Pharmacy to get glucose test strips, they had to transfer the order, multiple phone calls, waiting. How can you not have glucose test strips? Good God. I tried to get a generic estradiol gel from them to apply to my thigh. They couldn't figure that out and said that it doesn't exist. I literally had to contact my friend who is a pharmacist in Florida and she told me it does exist and to ask for it this particular way. I went right into Colonial Drugs in Westport and they were able to fill it for me. This took multiple multiple phone calls to different CVS pharmacies and other pharmacies btw. I also probably have another 5 stories. Did I mention the pharmacy techs are rude and the pharmacists aren't much better. Pathetic. read more

The worst customer service of any pharmacy--or any CVS--I have ever used. Always get your prescription screwed up somehow. Often times you have to visit more than once after using their system to refill a prescription. Today I waited an HOUR for a prescription that was called in days ago. I have had very frustrating experiences with this pharmacy month after month. I have found that staff does not follow through with things, does not always know what's going on with prescriptions being filled, has given me incorrect information, etc. This last prescription took over a week to fill and I had to call 3+ times a day for the last few days to babysit them through the process. I will not be returning to this pharmacy, and I would encourage everyone else to avoid them as well. Norwalk Pharmacy is right down the street and I've heard good things about them. I've been to this CVS several times trying to pick up a prescription. Almost every single time they've got it wrong and today there was a very rude pharmacist filling in. She was immediately hostile towards me when the prescription Wasnt filked again. Yesterday, I called and whoever was filling in at that time told me the prescription was to be filled today. Whenever the manager of the pharmacy is not there everything goes awry and the temporary pharmacists are absolutely rude and hostile. To make matters worse, almost every time there is an issue. If I could give less than 1 star I would. This is the absolute worst and most poorly run pharmacy I have ever been to. My latest experience is what has finally driven me to post so people know to have their prescriptions filled anywhere but here. I called yesterday to make sure I could get my prescription before I went away. The phone rang for 14 minutes and 50 seconds before someone picked up. They said I could pick it up today at lunch. I got there at 3:30 and it wasn't ready. I am now back an hour and a half later and have been sitting in the drive through lane for 20 minutes. I went there today to pick up my prescription. They were backed up as usual. There were 2 ahead of me. No one was at the register and despite 4 people working in the background, no one had the courtesy to give us an explanation for the delay. I gather that the drive up had mechanical problems and the computers were down from listening to their conversations with each other. No one made eye contact with the waiting customers. I left, will pick up my prescription tomorrow and then change pharmacies. read more
