Great. But after another three hours with no updates, I finally asked what was going on; only then did they tell me they didn't even have the correct brake pads and had been waiting on replacements. Had I known that up front, I never would've wasted my entire afternoon sitting there. I was finally out the door five minutes before closing, and they charged me nearly $300 for the privilege of waiting around all day with zero communication. On top of that, I have a blood clotting disorder and currently have two clots in my legs. Sitting for four hours straight without warning put my health at serious risk. If they had simply informed me they were waiting on a part, I could've come back later or made a safer decision for myself. This experience was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing, and I will not be returning.

Needless to say, that wouldn't work. I found Brooks Tire Company in Walhalla and the manager Jeremy said to bring the Volvo down, and I did. Don't judge a book by its cover. The station was a bit disheveled, but I found Jeremy to be very pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. He never stopped working on other brake jobs the whole time I was there waiting for my parts to be delivered, he is part Energizer Bunny. Well, after the brake pads and rotor finally were delivered, Jeremy got them on 1,2,3. The bill was very reasonable and I plan to only use Brooks Tire when I need brake work and don't want my face ripped off as the dealer and others would have done. We were stranded on the road, not even sure where we were. I found Blacks was not too far away. When we got there, Preston didn't have the right size rim, but even though it was late in the day, Preston called all of his contacts in the local area and didn't stop until he found us the rim we needed. He changed our other tire so we wouldn't have problems with that one too!
