Billing practices are HORRIBLE. Went to this office twice - both times they came back afterwards…read moreand told me I had an unpaid balance six or so months afterwards. They either are not even trying to be accurate with their insurance estimates, or they are incompetent. They are also VERY aggressive about collecting. If you have no desire to see a dentist and end up getting nasty calls six months later, saying you owe them an extra $200 +, and as far as you know, the bill should have been paid according to the insurance estimate THEY gave - then give this office a pass. And when they do contact you, you have never even seen a bill until you are getting these calls - this is what happened to me TWICE. This practice is everything wrong with dentists. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be harassed by the office for money.

Had work done and paid the bill claiming what it would be. 3 months past and not a word was said until I went in for a cleaning. Claimed I owed almost $600 from the last visit. Refusing to give me original paperwork to show what they claimed insurance would pay out. Said I could not leave until balance was paid or a loan was in place. Refused to let me leave until I had a loan in place for past balance and potential additional work that was not performed yet. I called back 20 minutes later and said please cancell that I could potentially get a better loan. They said they would process. Days went by and I called and they said no they cant cancel a loan (even for work I had not had done yet) until I paid the phantom balance. Found quite a few people that this happened to. DO NOT TRUST THEM

We have a 13-year-old daughter for whom we are considering braces. We went to three different Orthodontists in Salt Lake and Park City for quotes on getting braces and heard 3 different recommendations. One said just putting braces on would do the trick, another said our daughter may need teeth extracted before getting braces and a third mentioned something about jaw surgery. We were confused as to what to do, so we decided to go to an Oral Surgeon for an objective opinion. We scheduled a consultation with Dr. Stosich to see what he recommends. I was impressed at how professional and thorough the examination was. In addition to the X-rays taken, Dr. Stosich had several assistants in the room while he took various measurements of her facial structure, jaw alignment and features. He then spent quite a bit of time talking with our daughter about her family history, what she likes and doesn't like about her facial features and her overall goal in getting braces. The Doctor then showed us a computer generated image of her profile based on the x-rays and measurements on a large screen so we could visualize what her jaw structure looked like now and what the outcome of the various recommendations would look like. Dr. Stosich reviewed each of the 3 recommendations made by the other Orthodontists and explained what they would do and what the outcome would look like. We liked the fact that even though he is an Oral Surgeon specializing in jaw surgery, he did not push it as the only option but instead gave us pros and cons of each option for us to decide for ourselves what the best course of action would be. We do like the fact that jaw surgery can be covered buy insurance and it does produce lasting, long-term results than simply braces alone. And not to mention, corrective jaw surgery has the added benefit of minimizing snoring later down the road, as it runs in the family. Overall, I would highly recommend a consultation with an Oral Surgeon before getting braces for your child if he or she has a large overbite. You are investing in your child's future and he or she will have that smile forever, so you might as well do it right the first time. We haven't decided on our final course of action yet, so we will keep you posted and write a follow-up to this soon.

He walked me through the entire process and post-op visits, and he's a genuinely nice, easygoing person who communicates clearly and puts you at ease. His office was also very accommodating, especially considering I traveled from out of state for the surgery. This would have been a 5/5 experience, but unfortunately I ran into issues with the office handling the required paperwork for state disability benefits. Despite following up more than 15 times via email and phone and receiving multiple assurances that it would be taken care of, the paperwork was never filed, which resulted in me losing my state disability benefits (up to $1000). While the office handled my medical insurance and short-term disability insurance without issues, state disability paperwork seems to be different, and this part was not managed successfully. I feel little sorry for them because of so much paperwork they had to do for my case, and they are not used to work with different states disability benefits, but I tried my best for them providing all the neccessary information and help them to file necessary papers. From a surgical and clinical standpoint, I highly recommend Dr. Stosich. I just wish the administrative side, particularly state disability paperwork, had been handled with the same level of care. I was a bit of a special case coming from out of state, so I don't expect most patients to have issues on the administrative side.
