The account manager, Julie, that handles Ocean Harbour South, is great. Responsive, and gets the…read morejob done. She is pleasant, firm, and professional. Apparently, I am learning, it ends with her. A Gene Ross also handles OHS. I encountered him at our non-functioning gate. I asked him the problem, as it is broken more than it is functional. He was rude, and tried to feed me a line of BS that the gate has nothing to do with security. "Security is a person, this is a gate to control traffic. A traffic control gate." Well, no kidding, Capt. Obvious. But it also provides security by not allowing non-residents to enter without being cleared by residents. A few months ago, when the gate was also not working, EM sent out an email about specific codes assigned to each unit, and for owners not to give them out under any circumstance. That went out the window fast, with the gate up most of the time, I have watched people come in who decidedly do not live there. I suspect one tries it and sends it out on social media. Free beach, free pool, bathrooms, and more. EM is also not following Florida COA law in posting the minutes of meetings within 30 days, as required in Florida Statute 718.111, thereby putting the Association out of compliance. There are other issues as well, as restricting common element use to all either punitively or without a Board vote. And if there were a Board vote in the last meeting...we wouldn't know, because minutes have not been posted. May to July... I do not recommend EM, and Mr. Ross is a poor representative of the firm. As an owner, I am underwhelmed with his service enough to knock them down to a One Star rating. LOOK ELSEWHERE!

I have authorized them quarterly payments of 750.00 each but this third time they took via automatic draft 2 withdrawals in the same day of $1450.00 each total 2900.00. This is felony theft! I received an email from Kim Saucier they paid it back and she attached a ledger ( not deposit verification) saying the paid it back however there was no refund from them into my bank. They did not pay it back! I have been battling Leukemia and using my energy to deal with this has been hard.

Since I was never shown an apartment or given a tour, I had to drive around to see what they place was like. It looked desolate and there is trash overflowing outside making it smell. They wouldn't return my phone calls while they were holding onto my money. Just today they finally called me back and DENIED my application because they "calculated" that I make over $35,000/year from 3 pay stubs (keep in mind I work for minimum wage about 20-30 hours a week right now...so that is impossible). I immediately left work early and drove over there to figure out what was going, I sat down and calculated it for them and showed them they were wrong but they refused to listen and denied me. I had to ask them to give me my money back. These people are horrific, unprofessional, and applying with them is a waste of time because the management have no idea what they are doing. These people jerked me around for almost a whole month trying to get an apartment with them. Indian River Apartments discriminated against me and used false information to deny me an apartment.

They were careful with my stuff, respectful of the space, and honestly just really nice people to have around all day.
