That's a substantial investment for a "trial." It's also kind of odd, because I've taken a handful of cardio boxing classes at other studios and in other states, so I own my own gloves -- a liner has never been required. If there's a routine you can't do, you can do something similar such as squats instead of jump squats, etc. The new owner Luis is very friendly and welcoming! My fave classes are with trainers Jonathan and Brandie. I actually went to Brandie's class tonight - her playlist is on point!! I love how she always ends her classes with Linkin Park's "one more light" for the cooldown. She kicked my butt tonight - in a good way!

First, I sent a message via their website. No response. Then I tried calling and left a message on their voicemail. No response. Finally, I texted the phone number that was mentioned on the voicemail message, and finally got a response. It is now Monday, December 16. The person tells me they are closed for emergency repairs and if I call on the following Monday, they will help me purchase a gift certificate. I confirm that's the 23rd. So on Monday the 23rd, I text again and ask what number I should call to purchase the gift certificate. I get this long text trying to persuade me to purchase a 6-month membership. I decline saying I just need something as a trial for like a month or a few individual sessions and if he likes it then my sister will consider getting a membership. No response. I can see they read the text. And here it is, 2 days before Christmas and I need to scramble to find a gift for my nephew. Absolutely horrible experience. If this is how they are when someone is just trying to give them some business, I can't imagine how they are if you are trying to cancel or there is some issue that doesn't benefit them. Stay away from this place.

Not only is it a boxing gym but they have a whole circuit training area and weights. It's like 3 gyms in 1. Daniel is a great trainer, experienced and knowledgeable and most importantly, he pushes you without being over the top. Since I work in the city, I'm only able to go on the weekends so the pricing structure works for me. A gym like this in the city will easily cost you $200+ per month. Well worth the investment and I think everyone should take advantage. Really glad I decided to sign up.
