We had a lot of questions prior to putting a contract in place and he answered every question in detail. He was very open with communication the entire way. 2) Yuri's team is very detailed. After applying a first coat, they will examine and determine if a second / third coat is necessary. After the job - his team allowed us to do a final inspection and would touch up as needed. Yuri would than do another quality inspection himself to ensure that it meets his standards. I truly felt that Yuri cared about the job, customer satisfaction, and his teams reputation of "no compromises". 3) Yuri provided his professional input. He didn't try to sell us anything extra. With the paint selection - he asked us if we planned on painting to sell or painting to live. We aren't planning on moving so we selected a higher quality / premium Paint from Sherman Williams (Duration and Emerald). Our house has held the same color for 20+ years and Indec really gave it a refresh. My parents love the outcome and are really happy with Indecs work. I asked my dad for input as well as I write this review and two words that came up over and over again were "customer service" and "quality". It was like that when I switched units in my historic building, and because of that I never really improved the state of my bathroom. Honestly I can't believe I lived with it like that for as long as I did. Hiring Vasyl / Leo Painters for this was definitely the right move. I've worked with Vasyl and his team once before (on a full house interior paint job), so I already knew I was in good hands. They did a better job than I expected was even possible in this bathroom - that had clearly seen decades of terrible paint jobs, and damage from steam, etc. Vasyl informed me of the correct and quality kind of paint to use for this job (I just gave him the color), in addition to pointing out the existing issues (that I hadn't realized). They are professional in a variety of ways, and you can rest assured you're in good hands with Vasyl and his team. I'm just glad I had his number saved from the last job I hired him for. Coming from someone who considers themselves particular (though my 'before' bathroom photos would not convey this), I highly recommend him ~ his knowledge and attention to detail is highly notable and greatly appreciated.

I chose him in part because of his great reviews but I now realize they are dated and his current business practices border on scam. The scope of the project changed slightly (20% larger) after I accepted the bid and sent in my deposit. After that, numerous additional undisclosed fees kept creeping in: different grout, picking up the tile I purchased through him, shelves for niche - the stone for which I was told I needed to purchase myself and separate from the additional niche fee, dump fee which I told him I would handle, and that extending the tile higher in one section would cost 240% /sqft more than his original quote. The bigger overcharge was that he jacked up the sqft on the bill wildly - the final sqft of the tile put in was 110 but he billed for installing 160 and only used 130 sqft of tile. He claimed this was due to the additional "complexity" of the job but had already billed me extra for the minor additional labor involved and never explained what about the project justified 50% higher install charges. I raised this issue multiple times along the way but he repeatedly ignored them and I had already sent in my deposit/scheduled around him so couldn't cancel at that point. I've hired many contractors on various projects around my house, and a couple times encountered reasonable additional charges if the scope or complexity changes materially. But this has been the first time I've been hit with so many upcharges/overbilling/undisclosed fees vs. the original quote.
