Our pull thru site was not quite level and just big enough for our truck and 30 foot trailer, but we lifted one side to be level and hooked up to sewer, water, and electric. We emailed them and told them which site we chose upon arrival. The nights were pretty quiet due to minimal nearby highway noise. We planned a four-night stay but only stayed for two nights. The restroom and the laundry room are not too bad. One restroom with one shower and one each washer and dryer in the laundry room. $5 to wash and dry (pay at the office.) On a walk with our dog, I was surprised by an unleashed dog that came from under one of the RVs that followed us for a bit. Okay...not sure if there are rules. We were never asked to sign the receipt because we never received a copy of the campground rules and policies (according to the receipt they emailed to us when we made the reservation.) On our final morning, electric was turned off by an electrician and we were not notified. After speaking with the electrician to understand the project, my husband walked to the store/office and spoke with a woman (owner?) and said we would be leaving due to no communication about this and we expected a refund for the 2-night remainder of our time. She said, "Sorry, we'll refund your money." Then the man (owner?) got done with a phone call and asked what was the matter. My husband explained that no one let us know about the power and the man said it would not be long...about an hour (the electrician told us about and hour per post which would make it a minimum of half a day as there were six sites on our row.) My husband explained he was disappointed with the customer service and the man replied with, "THEN PACK UP AND GET OUT OF HERE AND YOU'LL GET YOUR DAMN MONEY." We never received a refund. We were disappointed both by not being notified and in the level of customer service my husband received from the man. I was also removed from their Facebook page, which is a really odd gesture. PLUS...one of the other guests of the park with the first unleashed dog I encountered slowly circled our RV when my husband went to fill up with fuel so we could leave. Customer service should be the key to their existence; it makes or breaks and establishment. We have visited 30 states and over 140 park so far, yet have never been treated like this.

They have waffle makers, sausage, boiled eggs, little pillsbury chocolate and powder donuts, a few cereal choices, yogurt, apples, bananas, and juice. The breakfast area looked well kept. The carpet in halls and rooms needs a good cleaning or just replace completely. The shower just needs some caulking in places and the bathroom would be the best part of room. There is plenty of parking around the hotel.

Their barrels are aged aboard a floating rickhouse on the Mississippi River, where the constant motion of the river helps the bourbon interact with the oak--a fascinating process that gives Ingram Bourbon its own distinctive character. The bourbon was excellent, but our host and tour guide, Dee Wright, truly made the experience memorable. Dee was amazing! her knowledge went well beyond the bourbon itself. Her stories and understanding of the history surrounding the Old Iron Banks Hotel, Columbus, and the surrounding community added so much to the tour. I've taken several bourbon tours, and Dee's knowledge, personality, and storytelling set this experience apart from the others. You leave with an appreciation not only for Ingram Bourbon and its unique river-aging process, but also for the history of the place where it's made. Great bourbon, incredible scenery, fascinating history, and an outstanding guide. If you get the opportunity to visit Ingram Distillery, I highly recommend it--and if you can, ask for Dee Wright!

It's right down the street from a huge boom land store that has fireworks, clothing, and home accessories, as well as some food items like local jams and pickled vegetables. There is a small gas station like grocery, but they don't carry bread, eggs or things like that mostly some freezer items, drinks and candy. It is a large gas station as well. You're meant to stay just one night here, you pick a spot, test, the utilities, and place your $20 in an envelope upfront. It truly is unattended. It was fine for one night. There was a bit of rain and we had some issues with the speed at which the black tank drained so I don't know whether they were having a problem or the rain just caused some situation here, but it was a bit unpleasant. Our surge protector tested out just fine on the power pedestal, I know others have had issue with us. We ran an overhead fan all night, so we did not hear the noise others complained of from the neighboring truck depot. This is a no frills kind of place but for $20 a night it suited our needs just fine on our way to Memphis

It's tucked right off the main road in Paducah, which makes it super convenient to grab a bite before or after your flight. Bonus points for being stress-free from the moment you park to the moment you board. The bag check process? A breeze. TSA? Practically a polite wave through a high-tech bag scanner (they even have the fancy new machines). And every single employee I interacted with was genuinely kind and helpful--like, Southern hospitality in airport form. Now let's talk about the gate area. Sure, there are only two gates (and let's be real, only one seems to be in action at a time), but the seating situation? Chef's kiss. You've got your standard airport rows with outlets, Jetsons-style lounge chairs, pods with privacy dividers perfect for pulling out a laptop, and even a four-seat square setup with space to stretch out. Need to perch up high? There's a high-top table too. It's basically the WeWork of tiny airports.
