Rob and Jenny quoted to repair our Pallister Leather Couch. This 78-year-old company does not…read moremanufacture in the US. They have three plants in Mexico and one in Canada. The leather material for our couch is considered "bicolor" which has contrasting shades creating a visually appealing effect. Jenny found out the material was no longer in production. She was informed that Palliser does maintain a very select amount of aftermarket production material. Unfortunately, she was virtually left on her own to locate the material. After an inordinate amount of time and phone calls, dealing with a language barrier, numerous incorrect information and broken promises, she did locate the replacement leather stored in Mexico. Her perseverance and commitment to our project far exceeded the time a typical small business would have committed to this type and size of project. The wait was well worth the effort as the craftsmanship presented by Rob and Jenny to replace the stressed and worn leather and enhance the seating structure provided a level of comfort and support exceeding the original quality. Most small businesses would have simply walked away from this project after facing numerous obstacles. This company deserves my highest recommendation not only for their perseverance, but for maintaining their original quoted price and quality of workmanship that is simply outstanding. I called them 3 weeks ago they said it was done when I got there the story changed to we a waiting on a part you can come in and get it the next day next day I called first they said parts didn't come in that they would have it done by the following Tuesday which would take us 4 more days and through another weekend on Tuesday they called same story blame it on not getting parts! 2 more weeks have gone by and nobody has called and when I call the machine says answering service off . Hope it's right whenever it gets done. I dont recommend taking your machines here to get fixed unless your not in a hurry at all!!!
