A bottle of "Wynn's Combustion Chamber Cleaner" was left in the engine bay so that it wound up jamming down into the pulleys damaging the water pump belt and the alternator belt. It also turned out that the oil change that was part of the servicing for which the car was given to the store left the engine 1 quart below the required amount. On Monday March 3 I contacted the dealership at 772-283-6000 and left numerous messages, some forwarded for me by the operator and one left in a voicemail box. One with the customer service rep, Steve Shakely, two with the service department manager, whose name I was told as being Joe, and one for the store manager, whose name I was told as being Amir. In addition, through Sunday March 2 and Monday March 3, I sent four text messages to the service representative Steve Shakley's work text messaging number including a picture of the damaged bottle that had been left in the engine bay. I received no contact from the store for any of these communications, and thus had to have the car repaired at an independent shop for $357.57. I also had to rent a car that cost me over $60.00, and was greatly inconvenienced at a time when I had guests staying with me with whom I had commitments which required a vehicle. It is clear that the store purposely avoided responsibility for the damage they caused to my vehicle. They might respond to this review by stating that they did not get my communications...I have the call logs and text messages saved.

Engine heavily leaking oil after few days and a few hundred miles of purchasing CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED car.

BUYER BEWARE. I bought my wife a Certified pre-owned vehicle and drove it home only to find out that the car would not lock and one of the tail lights had a puddle of water in it. I immediately turn around and go back to the dealer and return the car. As you should know that the ALL of the vehicles functions should be checked as part of there 150 point certified pre owned check list. They told me that service had closed and they will look at the car Monday. My wife and I discuss later that night that this is ridiculous that we buy a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED car and we can't even lock it in our driveway. We went back to the dealership the next day and Amir the GM immediately puts us into another CPO without questions asked. I drive the new CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED car home only to find out the that both of the tail lights have puddles of water in them and one of the tail lights was cracked! I call the salesman and tell him. I bring the car back in and they look at the car. Gio the salesman tried to argue that water in the tail light HOUSINGS is "cosmetic" and is not covered under CPO warranty being that the tail light bulbs still work. I argued to him that the functionality of the tail light housing is compromised being that water is getting in the housings and will damage the internals of the lights eventually. After the argument and some other people inspecting the lights Gio the salesman tells me that they are gonna order the partS and sets me up with an appointment. A couple days later and only a few hundred miles, the service light came on! I call the salesman and he tells me to just reset the light because the technician may have forgot to reset it during the CPO process. Being a technician myself I refused to reset the light without having documentation of the last service which I was not provided upon purchasing the vehicle. Gio my salesman told me he would be to busy to get the service documentation that I wanted and I would once again have to come into the dealership and get them myself at the service counter. Kind of ironic that a couple days after the salesman told me to reset the service light. I go to a family member's house and they tell me that there is an oil stain on there brand new driveway where my CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED vehicle was parked. I crawl under the CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED vehicle and the engine is heavily leaking oil within 15 days of ownership along with the service light not being reset and water in both the tail lights. I immediately go back to the dealership and express my concerns of how the vehicles they are selling as CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED cars are fraudulently advertised being that this is the second car I have had to return with issues. I demanded to be put in a third car and Gio basically told me that he can sell me a new car because I keep finding problems with the CERTIFIED cars that they inspect and sign off on! I refused a new car unless he would give me one for the price of the one I just returned and he said they could not do that. They were unwilling to work with me and get me into a third car after selling fraudulently certified used cars twice!! I asked for the CPO checklist which was not presented to me at all and It was never even signed by me to acknowledge that the vehicle was properly inspected!!! The checklist was signed by the technician and specifically said the car was not leaking oil on the checklist but it most definitely was. I will provide pictures because I documented everything. Basically all they said was that they will fix the oil leak. I send my car to service to have the oil leak fixed and the tail lights replaced. After the repairs I go to pick up my car and they fixed the oil leak coming from the oil filter housing from an incompetent tech unable to properly do a simple oil change during the CPO process. They also only replaced one tail light and it was the one that had a cracked housing and not the other light that was holding water. THIS DEALER SELLS FRAUDULENTLY CERTIFIED USED CARS. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

Horrible customer service. Dropped car off on Friday for service, called tech numerous times and never got a return call for 4 days.

After nearly 2k and numerous cancellations, no shows and a lot of frustration and two months, I was left with some wires pulled through the firewall. He asked me to order parts which I did. They were all wrong: Pitman arm and ignition module had to be bought again because they were incorrect parts. The first day he arrived his truck leaked a lot of oil all over my driveway and I spent an hour cleaning it. Unfortunately a total waste of time and money. I don't think he's dishonest, I just think he's inept. After review of his response I have made additions: see fotos and the dates in the screenshots. This response was totally unacceptable and to blame me for this lack of professionalism is just plain wrong! See the dates and fotos. This truck is a 140k truck with some needs to I wanted addressed. It needs a few parts like you'll see in the chat! This wasn't a customer scorned. I just wanted my truck fixed !!! This of you that have been scammed and strung along by a mechanic will understand!!!! See the screenshot with cancellations and change dates. This was chronic cancellations and changes. I missed work one day. In fact, I even gave him my code to the garage to accommodate him. But, too much is too much. I couldn't justify paying him for constantly uncertainty. I can do this all day. Let me start by the metadata claim.... These are screen shots take the day of this posting genius....look at the dates in the chat. The parts you said I choose cheaper parts of lower quality ... see the new screen shots where you told me to purchase the specific parts and I did. You have disgraced yourself and lied and it's here in black and white with your chat. Also, pay attention to the dates that you told me to purchase and my response was I got them. You say you had no role which parts I purchased which is an absolute falsehood! It's in black and white. I have the chats here that you directed me to purchase certain items and I did! Highly customized? It's a totally stock 302 Ford Motor. The truck is a complete original and stock. The claim about a Latin America Truck is laughable. Is he a mechanic or a comedian? It was manufactured in the USA for Latin America and Canada. Know why? It has a speedometer in KM and hour. Yah the speedometer is in metric KM. Any novice can see that in the foto. My gosh! As for your cancellations and late shows. Look at 1 of numerous screen shots where you cancelled after I waited all day. In fact, I had to text you and ask "guess you're not showing?" I believe that was the day I didn't go to work and waited all day for you. Another falsehood that you claim all cancellations were done in Advance. See it in the screenshot You're deceit and lack of candor this will only make you look even more unprofessional. Keep editing, I'll keep posting the truth. I'm awaiting for an apology. BTW - having a couple friends make 5 star reviews the day I call you out isn't fooling anyone. They can see the dates and the lack of activity on their accounts. You had 2, 5 star ratings and nothing ore when I hired you... should have been the red flag to stay away. Now you have several with no depth and 3 of them posted within a couple hours of each other yesterday .

I've never left a bad review in my life. Palm City Auto did me wrong and I need to say something…read moreinstead of keeping it unheard. I had taken my older car for a rubbing noise in my tire. They said the wheel bearings and both tie rods needed to be replaced. I also signed up for the top tier $125 auto detail (more on that later). I agreed to replace the wheel bearings and both tie rods and wheel alignment. Paid a good sum of money for this repair. Within nine months my front passenger tire was completely bald and close to blowing out. Took it to Tire Kingdom to get a new tire and alignment. They couldn't do the alignment because the tie rods were shot. Both sides. So why didn't the repair I had paid for last? Going back in time to the visit to PC Auto: They were supposed to detail my car the day of the repair. They weren't able to do the exterior work (waxing, etc) because there was a very bad storm. Which ok, that was fine, no big deal. When I got into my car to leave, I noticed that the interior detail was extremely deficient. Granted, it was super dirty. I'm a single mom of a very special-needs child, the last thing I have time for is cleaning my car. So I paid for the top detail package. For instance, just using the steering wheel as the point I'm choosing to use as an example, rather than listing all the interior areas neglected, but the steering wheel hadn't been touched and was still so dirty that I took a napkin and rubbed water on a spot, leaving a clear circle showing it wasn't cleaned (that was just one area. I wish I could share the picture I took. It wasn't just a little difference, it was way blatant). I went back inside to let them know they didn't touch a lot of the interior (even the inside of the windows). They did a good job vacuuming and shampooing the carpets though! The owner (I understand there's two owners, a front store owner and a back store owner?) The back store owner ( I don't know if I'm phrasing that correctly) looked at it, annoyed with me, said "well you only paid for the basic." "No, I paid for the top one! And even the basic would clean the windows and steering wheel and door panel. Look, I can rub it off with water!" So they said they would finish it when I brought the car back to complete the exterior when the weather was better. I took my car back within a few days of the repair to finish the detail and also because I still heard the original noise that replacing the wheel bearings and tie rod was supposed to fix. The sound didn't happen when I rode with the mechanic, so they never identified it, but apparently it wasn't the wheel bearings and tie rod that I was told was the problem. (have since found out it was the brake backing plate, simple bending it solved the sound). So that day (I was very nice about this too!) they washed their hands of me. They refunded my money for the auto detail. I figured, okay, they gave my money back, I got a partial detail... I'll let it go and move on. But when I found out that the repair I paid good money for didn't last (what, six months tops?) and I had to get all new tie rods and an alignment all over again, and a new tire (!), realizing I wasted a lot of my hard-earned money on them and had to go through this repair all over again, and pay for it again, I'm pissed and not keeping quiet about it anymore. Palm City Auto did me wrong. Even though I was super nice about the whole thing, they washed their hands of me, and then I find out that it was all for nothing. Not cool.
