Being in law enforcement, I have particular requirements and desires with regard to location and Andrea's background made her ideally suited to understand and address them. Being a single guy with a cat introduced other requirements and she got that, too. She found me the perfect house in a great neighborhood and I really couldn't be any happier with it. She did it quickly, too. I had a deadline imposed by circumstances and she worked within that timeline effectively and efficiently. I would say she went above and beyond the call of duty but I suspect she does that pretty routinely. Developments were communicated immediately and she was always there when I reached out for help. Her counsel was wise and her instincts, born of diverse experience, were spot on. Shortly before my purchase, a co-worker went through the buying process. For a few days there, he was an absolute wreck. Seemed like he was always on the phone and stressing over some detail or another. That was in the back of my mind as I began my own home purchase but, between Andrea and my excellent mortgage broker, that stress just didn't materialize. Obviously, there are many factors involved in the home purchase process and the realtor doesn't have control over all of them. After reviewing various websites, I decided to contact Ann Richards through her website on on 8/29/16. I did not receive a response back. I then texted her on 8/31/16 and she called me back. I explained that we were traveling to the Knoxville are the following week and would like to look at some homes in the area. I explained we need to finalize our travel plan. That evening, i explained the type of house we were interested in looking at and showed photos to give an idea. I then texted Ann to make sure she received my email. No response. I then texted Ann on 9/1/16 that if she was too busy to work with me, just let me know so we could locate another realtor. Ann texted me back and said she would have the information to me by Saturday, 9/3/16 which would allow us to put together our travel plans for the following week. I waited until 3:00 PM on Saturday without receiving any info from her. I text Ann and said I was tired of waiting for the info and because of our time constraints we need to hurry and located another realtor. She texted back OK. I then texted Ann letting her know I was contacting Keller Williams because they should know the poor service that she provides to potential customers. She then text me that she was going to call me today. That was not what we agreed earlier in the week, she was going to email me potential houses for us to look at when we are in the Knoxville area. She has placed us in a bind because we now need to located another realtor fast. Ann is very poor with follow-up, doesn't listen to our needs, and makes false promises. Instead of just putting us on an automatic distro and letting a computer program that I also have access to find us a home she researched other options and made sure we looked at the home search from all angles. With a combined 21 years of military experience between my husband and I, we are constantly disappointed in the lack of professionalism we see in the people we consider for hire. Amy was always respectful of our time by being prompt and keeping us informed. She has been in the business for a while and has the right contacts and references. She is one of the hardest working people I have ever met and I can tell she becomes personally invested in finding THE home for every client she represents.
