She put me in touch with Kerriann and every part of the process was exceptional. She took a ton of pictures for me, answered all my questions - there were a lot - and helped me feel confident that driving up there would be worth the trip. I sent a message to the dealership to make sure the vehicle was still available and was connected with Thomas S. from the Sales department. Thomas was very responsive during our communication, and understanding that we would not be able to come see the vehicle for several days as we live 100 miles away. We made an appointment, and upon arrival we found the vehicle parked in front waiting for us. The Wallace Auto Group dealerships give a strong sense of family. On October 31, 2023, I asked for the CarFax on a 2023 Kia to consummate a two year lease. I was told that this vehicle had a "clean" CarFax, and although it had over 2,000 miles on it, it had never been titled or damaged. After several hours, the finance paperwork was complete, and the sales manager who offered to provide the CarFax had left the property; no CarFax was provided. Getting service at Kia of Wesley Chapel (FL) in February 2024, the Kia Service Technician indicated that the repair of body damage was not complete. Prior to this oil change, I had planned to purchase this car at the end of the lease. At this point, I procured a CarFax for this vehicle, and discovered that four months BEFORE I leased it, on June 20, 2023, this car was reported to have moderate damage. Apparently, the repairs were not properly completed. This leaves no confidence that a comprehensive repair was done. The Wallace lease and purchase agreement limits legal remediation, requiring disputes to be taken to American Arbitration. American Arbitration found that Wallace Kia did not pay their arbitration membership dues, so they were powerless to settle disputes. This appears to be a common practice for Wallace Auto Group. With no means supported by Wallace to settle disputes, they appear to be in breach of contract. My certified paralegal is researching whether this constitutes fraud. Moreover, if this practice is common, there may be reason to consider class action remedial measures. The Kia General Manager denied several phone calls that we had and attempted to appease me with a less than mediocre offer. It is my hope that no one else must deal with these business practices. RECOMMENDATIONS: Demand that your purchase or lease agreement 'line through' the requirement for "Arbitration," and have the finance manager sign that you are not required to settle disputes by arbitration. As noted above Wallace does not pay their arbitration membership fees, so American Arbitration has no ability to be your advocate. Demand a business card of the person that your Wallace Dealership's General Manager reports to. That is to say, if the Wallace VW GM reports to Gary Marvich, Wallace Gen Mgr., Lee Smith, President, or Judith Powell, CFO, then you need that business card stapled to your contract, stating the Wallace corporate Title, e-mail, and phone number. You may need these in the future. read more

Bait and switch, bait and switch, bait and switch. Dealt with people from all over this automotive group, from the online sales reps to in person guys. Everything they advertise is false, they often don't have the car they have listed on the website and do whatever they can to lock you into a bad deal with what they have on lot (which honestly, is slim pickings). After being lied to by different parts of the staff about who has what job, getting 3 different prices of trade ins (they low ball you, and play the game of giving you a little more every time you say no). After all the lying about who was a manager and who knew what they had on the lot etc, an inside sales rep called us saying he'd do whatever he can to get us the payment we want before he then offered us payments HIGHER than the inflated ones they showed us at the dealership, lol. Good luck buying one of their dirty cars on the lot. Don't expect the advertised pricing or trust their internet/inside sales reps. read more

My wife, my five month old son, and myself drove four hours to come buy a car. We were ready to buy a car! However, the dealer tried to charge us for a certification that THEY did prior to us wanting to buy the car. We never asked for the car to be certified. We were just told that we had to pay for it. When I spoke to multiple other VW Dealerships, they told me this is not the norm. If they had not charged us for the certification, we would have bought the car. Then, I was told there was not a discount for being an educator, yet on their website I found a VW Educator Discount Program. On the online listing for the car on their website, it said "Down Payment Assistance and up to $6000 over KBB!" However they failed to mention that it is only on new cars. This was very frustrating because it was not made clear to us until the sales manager came in and spoke to us. When the sales manager came in and spoke to us, she tried to tell us why we drove four hours to their dealership... one thing my wife and I do not like is when someone speaks for us, especially if they are wrong. She also proceeded to tell us that they were selling the car at a loss.... Don't believe it for one second because the dealership always wins! I felt this was a pressure tactic to get us to sign. We ended up walking out because we felt lied to and like we were baited and switched. Lastly, I received a text from the dealership asking how my experience was. They never even called me when they were finished servicing the vehicle. Paid $1900 and picked up my car on July 16, 2024. Two to three days later discovered my Dewalt drills and air pump was missing from my trunk as well as my Versace cologne. I paid all that money just to have my personal belongings taken? Twice we have taken our 2011 VW Jetta TDI to them for the oil change. We have a warranty, so we have to go to the dealership for oil changes and anything that has to do with the engine or anything that diesel touches. When you pay $100 for an oil change, you expect to get everything checked and topped off that they say comes with it. However, both times they failed to put windshield fluid in it, even though it was completely empty. So I'm going to assume that they failed to check anything else out on the car either. read more

The worst service experience that I have ever had. I showed up for my appointment on time and was told that no appointment for me existed. I showed them my email confirmation with the service advisors name and the time and was told they could not "see" the reservation (?). Then was advised there was nothing they could do and I had to schedule another appointment. Keep in mind this was early in the morning and they were clearly not busy. Very poor customer service and I would not suggest anyone buy a Volkswagen if you're going to be relying on this dealership. read more
